Name: Lazuli Karay

Age: 23

Race: Human.

Physical Description:
proxy.php

A milk chocolate skin tone, coupled with piercing, minty green eyes and stark white hair, usually tied into a past-the-rear length braid, give a fairly exotic appearance to the visage of Lazuli. She stands at a minuscule four five inches imperial, and weighs in in between seventy five to eighty five pounds. She often braids feathers into her hair, and has an odd, and somewhat disturbing set of 'jewelry', which are feathers along the backs of her hands, and across the tops and backs of her lower arms that have had the quills somehow embedded into her skin. The understanding of this is not entirely known but believed to be part of her semblance and she admits that it is incredibly painful to do.

This trait often leads to initial confusion as to her species when meeting new people, which is generally her intent.

Background: While her birth parents are unknown, Lazuli's adopted mother, a crow Faunus, has raised her since she was three. Found in the wooded areas outside of a Faunus isolationist community, initially the human avoiding species was willing to skip past the young girl and leave her to the wilds. Despite this there was one in the group, a young mother who had just lost a six year old girl to the same ursa they were out hunting just days earlier, couldn't bring herself to leave the child, and despite the protests chose instead to adopt her, name her, and raise her amongst them as one of their own.

This mother was Rouliette, and she would become Lazuli's caretaker and best friend as she raised the child to understand that while yes, she was different, that was no reason to fear or hate anyone. Taking this message to heart, Lazuli grew up amongst the other Faunus children without many issues while even the initially disproving community could see that the hatred they received from humans was a taught trait, and not something inherent to the species.

As Lazuli grew, learning to fight, hunt and live alongside everyone else she became skilled in combat with a balanced longsword and quickly learned to use speed to her advantage, attacking multiple enemies and leaving the larger brutes to the stronger types.

It would be at fourteen, nine years after being taken in, that Lazuli would take interest in becoming a Huntress. Training for her goals in earnest, along with three other childhood friends, they would leave for Beacon when of age and excel in many of their classes.

As they trained, though, tensions between the Faunus and Humans grew more and more, and in this time Lazuli, often ostracised by some of the more upset Faunus, and by the humans who knew which side she really stood with, began a process of inserting Nevermore quills into her arms to hide the truth and stand more blatantly with her 'family'.

It would be three weeks before her graduation that she would find out that a team of military robots had been dispatched to her home in chase of a single Faunus criminal, and fearing what would happen she and her team left for their childhood home to find it in the midst of being razed to the ground. What came next was a long a bloody massacre that last three days, and when all the smoked cleared Lazuli walked out of the dust and bloodied mud alone, and a changed woman.

Leaving Beacon, Lazuli began to lead lone crusades against both the overtly heavy handed military as well as Faunus hate groups, and before long she was awarded an entire section of the White Fang as they began to take notice of her actions and skill.

These days she's a wanted criminal, but also known as one of the more interesting White Fang leaders, punishing her own for harming non-combatants, and keeping casualties to a bare minimum outside of combat.

Personality: Quiet and withdrawn most of the time, Lazuli gravitates toward members of the Faunus species more often than not, and is generally paranoid when amongst humans, often to the extent that she won't turn her back on them. When not on edge Lazuli is often seen with a somewhat peaceful expression, especially when up higher of looking down from tall windows. Overall she is friendly, but soft spoken and distant. She has a caring personality and tends to attempt to be non confrontational when not on mission. She tends to keep her ears covered with headphones often playing music similar to chillstep and the like when off mission as well.

Despite all this, she has trouble maintaining her temper when frustrated and when on the battlefield she becomes an instinctual beast. She demands loyalty and respect from her followers and peers, and does not tolerate those who would take down to her or belittle her.

While she can get riled up about large groups, such as the whole of the human species, she often doesn't find herself hating singular individuals, finding it unfair and too much of a hassle to hate everyone individually.

Lazuli has been known to occasionally suffer flashbacks to the incident involving her home, and in these times becomes unresponsive to most attempts to reason with her. She also suffers from brief periods of depression and sorrow, and she does not recognise as a human due to her struggles.

Skills and Talents:

  • Semblance: Lazuli's semblance is seemingly rare and not well understood by anyone other than her, as she does not practise it often. It is actually a powerful healing force that can weave skin and tissue back together, and repair broken bone. Despite the strength of this semblance it is incredibly taxing upon her physical stamina to use, and overuse will lead to intense sweating, muscle fatigue, dehydration, nosebleeds and even unconsciousness if pushed hard enough.
  • Size Matters Little: When angry or chastising someone, it's very easy for Lazuli's size to seemingly reverse itself for those on the receiving end. The people who have experienced this claim that while they know they are taller, and nothing physically changes, they suddenly feel emotionally less secure and confrontational, as if being stood over by a disapproving parent.
  • Conviction(Rarely used): When fighting for something she believes in at her core to be right, Lazuli becomes a beast to be feared as she wades into battle, shrugging off blows that would easily fell men twice her height. It is important to know that when she enters this state both her mass and strength seem to increase massively, enough that it's rumoured she once stood firm against a train carrying Faunus captives and brought it to a halt. This is all conjecture and word of mouth, mind you, but the train did have it's front end mysteriously smashed in.

Combat Ability: Lazuli excels with speed and agility. Her flowing, airy steps and leaps carry her from enemy to enemy, and while she may not score a killing blow on the first strike, she will carry on to further enemies and eventually be back to strike again. Her weakness is actually dealing with singular large powerful enemies, such as ursas. She uses the confusion of multiple enemies to throw her prey off guard to lose their focus in the crowd, but when there are no enemies about to throw off her adversaries attentions, she often will accidentally leave herself open, and due to her stature a single blow can send her flying when compared to most others.

When under the influence of Conviction her fight still changes entirely, and while her airy steps and fast movements continue, she no longer feints away from strikes and often moves through them like they are nothing.

Weapon:
upload_2015-6-25_12-47-39-jpeg.134789
A deceptively light weight longsword devised by Lazuli's 'Uncle Hughey', the Dona Bruid is a simple yet effective single purpose weapon that has proven again and again that just because you have a multi-purpose weapon doesn't mean Lazuli is going to let you use it. Despite not being a multi-purpose weapon, it does have a telescopic blade that alters in between three and a half to five feet long. She oft carries it at 3.5 and only changes to 5 in unique circumstances, to surprise enemies, or because she's under the influence of Conviction.

Rumours circulated by the White Fang claim that the Dona Bruid harbours Lazuli's negative emotions and uses them to influence the wielder, but its seemingly pure conjecture made due to the troubling look she gets when she wields it.

58117-5-1423113191.jpg
Lazuli also carries Bas Meur, the death finger. It is a lever action rifle loaded with shells of reactive materiel, while the 'bullets', technically harpoons, are kept in a quiver on her back. Her range and precision with the rifle are remarkable, but she will admit she is no expert with it, just a skilled marksman.

Ethics: Death happens. It was something hammered into her mind by Rouliette. When lives are on the line, and the people you care for are in trouble, it is your duty to protect them, no matter what. Despite her dislike for humans, this teaching even covers them. Regardless, Lazuli tends to be less caring about the losses humans encounter, and is openly more hostile to them, all while caring more for Faunus and being less willing to harm them. Furthermore, she thoroughly dislikes the military and the police, often being reminded of the men that came and destroyed her home and killed her friends and family. She doesn't wholly agree with the White Fang, but doesn't disagree with the idea that humans as a whole often seem to think that anything and everything is theirs and has allied herself with the White Fang in the meantime.

Goals: Lazuli wishes to find peace. She's still haunted by her past, and she wants to find her place in a world that seems to want to divide the lines of Faunus and Human so boldly and blatantly. She also seeks reparations for the crimes committed against her family and friends.

Name: PrototypeSynthetic_Model008_V001_ST22: 'Mari'

Age: Her age is unknown. Production dates on original hardware suggest September 22nd as date of manufacture, but any hints towards year are yet to be found.

Race: Synthetic

Physical Description: Presumably to reduce production costs... Or inspire some form of parental feeling from her creator, Mari is tiny. She stands at the miniscule height of 5'0", simultaneously sporting a deceptively slight 'build', giving her much the same appearance as a young girl. As a mechanical being, she is, obviously, composed entirely of metal, her 'true' appearance being that of a humanoid robot. In order to both disguise her true nature, alongside just making her less... Unapproachable, her chassis is covered in a skin like substance, supplemented by artificial hair, nails, and etc. As a robot she feels neither heat nor cold, so, in terms of dress she has little to worry about in terms of functionality, it serving nothing more than aesthetic purposes, as such, she elects to wear heavy winterized clothing year round. Most of her clothing is relatively normal, sans her battle-wear, which is specially made to allow access to her back ports without removal or damage of clothing.

Contact with Atlas Military established, last known location of Grimm Threat has been acquired, moving out immediately.

Target nowhere to be found, tracks suggest it's heading due north, towards Military Scrapyard ??????. Pursing immediately.

Arrived at ?????? , all on-site personal have deceased, wounds suggest recently. Moving into ?????? to eliminate threat.

(Personal Note from Huntress ???????? - Damn, poor soldiers... If only we could have gotten here sooner...)

Threat located within ??????, engaged immediately.

After approx 0133 minutes of combat, threat has been neutralized. Heavy damage sustained by both Team ????, and Scrapyard ??????. Fortunately, no wounds were lethal.

Despite instance from the rest of Team ???? , Huntress ?? investigates wreckage uncovered by engagement with Grimm Threat.

Huntress ?? discovers medium sized military-issue storage crate. Again against instance of the rest of Team ????, she opens it. What appears to be a young girl is found inside.

Extract from Communications Log follows (Color coded for convenience) -

Huntress

??

- Yeah

????

! Do you!?

Huntress

Progress Reports - Multiple Dates

___________________________________________________

On July 28th, Team ???? returned to Vale Capital in possession of a seemingly unconscious young girl recovered from Atlas Military Scrapyard ??????, and after much deliberation from all members aside from Huntress ???? it was decided that the Atlas Military would not be informed of her retrieval. Soon after this decision, said girl was transferred to a military hospital for care, until she should regain consciousness. After transferal, and initial tests to determine the girls well-being, hospital staff were shocked to find that beneath her exterior, the girl's body was comprised entirely of a metal frame. She was then transferred to a facility better suited to investigate.

Upon second transferal, staff were shocked to find that not only was the girl's body comprised of metal, but housed an entire network of mechanisms reminiscent to that of the Atlesian Knight-130, but seemingly far more advanced. Production codes found on her hardware indicate production code to be: PrototypeSynthetic_Model008_V001_ST22, she will hereafter be refereed to as ST22. Further study of ST22's hardware unveil nothing to indicate her purpose, or unveil any details regarding her production. Investigation into her software will be carried out after final investigations are completed. Robotics Programming Specialist ?????? ???? called in to oversee project.

Investigation of ST22's software unveils several unexpected developments. ST22 seems to be in possession of several programs pertaining to both Artificial Intelligence, and Artificial Emotion. Investigation of activity logs leads to no avail, all information pertaining to ST22's production, and purpose, seem to have been deleted from memory. ?????? ???? requests permission to attempt reactivation of ST22 to recover further information. After deliberation, permission is granted. ?????? ???? immediately begins attempts, and, after approximately 17, re-activation is successful.

___________________________________________________

On August 7th, ST22 awoke in a cold, poorly lit lab, without a memory in her head. In some sense, you could call that her birthday, one could suppose. Her activators showed no hesitance in their curiosity, questioning her for days on end as to uncover even the slightest hint as to her origin. She, of course, didn't mind, to follow orders was her purpose, whether they be militant, or scientific. Though, having woken without a memory in her head, all those days would be for naught. But again, ST22 cared not.

The following months were to be found in a state of overwhelming disarray. After her failed questioning, the scientific staff that had taken her as their charge had no idea what to do with her. Should they take her offline? No, surely not. Despite her subdued nature, it was clear that the girl displayed some level of humanity, but, despite all attempts to find out, she displayed not desire to do, well, anything. Simply spending her days waiting patiently in her room, there seemed to be nothing that ST22 actually desired after. Her purpose clearly seemed to be of a military nature, but were they really to just hand her over to them for research? Again, the course of action wasn't an attractive one. So, in a last bid attempt to find something, anything, that could serve the girl as a purpose to live, ST22 was handed over to Professor Ryan Ryith for psychiatric evaluation.

Sent to live with him ST22 was transferred from the facility immediately, arriving at her homestead within only a day of departure. His first order of business? A name. ST22 wasn't the nicest of names, after all, so, as soon as she arrived, Ryan pressed upon her an order, find and pick something for him to call her. A pointless order... But ST22 wasn't about to disobey. Taking to his library, she sought one out as efficiently as she would anything else, picking a random book, flicking to a random page, a picking the first name that she came across. And so, ST22 became Mari. A pointless development, and, to her ignorance, to would be the first of many. Unlike the scientists that came before him, Ryan seemed uninterested in her origins, her past, and even only question what drove her once.

All he ever seemed to do was hand out pointless order after pointless order.

Go to bed at eight.

She didn't even need to sleep. Pointless.

Eat a healthy breakfast.

All food was to be converted into the same form of fuel. Pointless.

Brush your teeth.

Pointless.

Pointless.

Pointless.

Why was she being utilized in such as way? At least the scientists had a goal in mind, but Ryan just seemed to be... Playing around. No, orders were orders, questioning them was... Pointless. She knew that. But still, ST22... Mari, was...

Frustrated. It went against everything she believed, but her orders frustrated her. It was a new feeling, an emotion, something beyond the cold indifference she felt towards the countless questions of the scientists, or fate of military testing. And that, was exactly what Professor Ryan Ryith had hoped for. It confirmed to him one thing, behind her robotic coldness, Mari had a will, and that was enough of an excuse to continue in his work. To say to following months consisted of his coaxing her out of her shell would be an overstatement. Progress was slow, Ryan fishing out one response after another, confirming emotion after emotion, he was successful, at least in breaking her from the shell she was once held within. Still though, she held no real desires of her own. He could coax as many reactions out of her as he wanted, but that want, that vital drive to do something was still yet to be found. Much the same, she showed little regard for neither morals, nor ethics, regarding any questions as to such with her usual set of responses. But that was unimportant. What was important was that over the past few months, she had developed. However slight, she now showed emotions, preferences, and even denied an order or two.

So she'd grown. And that, was exactly what Professor Ryan Ryith had hoped for. Because as a sign of life, what was any greater than growth? Taking that in mind, the next course of action was to stimulate it, but this life they lived together was hardly one to do so. So, what was the best source of growth? Why, school of course. And according to the scientists he'd taken her from she seemed to be military in origin... Then, what better choice was there than Beacon? The girl could carry out something that she at least didn't find pointless, and hopefully evolve alongside her new classmates. And clearly, the age restriction could be bent for someone of... Her nature. So, explaining the situation to Headmaster Ozpin, Ryan eventually managed to secure her a spot in the entrance exams. And thus, Mari set out, with one last order from Professor Ryan Ryith.

Grow.

And so, for a year Mari played out the role of a student at Beacon. One long, uneventful year. A war would break out, sure, but for the students tucked safely away at beacon it would be a time yet before it did so much as begin to threaten them, so, things went on at least somewhat normally. And for Mari, with her order to grow, the change to the outside world was negligible so long as she be able to carry out her command. Or, so she would think.

Ending her first school year, Mari would return back to Ryan's place of stay, and, to her surprise... She would find the place empty. Logically, she waiting things out, staying there on her own for a grande total of a week, but, as he still found himself without return, the answer was obvious. He'd fallen victim to the disappearances that had been plaguing Remnant since the war begun.

And so, she would too.

Personality: Mari's personality is threadbare at best. The emotions she does display are only ever to the slightest degree, and she holds little to no opinion on any given subject or event, being more likely to become upset over the state of her meal, than she is the mistreatment of a Faunus, for example. As such, to call her stoic is an understatement. Having her so much as blink in reaction to something, let alone show something such as surprise or curiosity. Taking these alone into consideration, Mari could be describe as a 'perfect solider', following orders without question or concern. If she had things her way, her stay at Beacon would be one of study, and missions, dedicating all her time to time, and seeking out nothing else. But, to her frustration, one thing prevents that.

The order to grow.

Because of it, the usually withdrawn Mari will involve herself in things. Hanging out , outings, and everything else in-between, so long as it provides a window of growth, she'll try it out, approaching it in attempt to fulfill that one order. That being said, she will approach things as she would an order, so even in her active involvement she may seem less than absorbed in her activities. But, that being said, Mari is incredibly stubborn, and may just be having a better time than she lets off. So, do Professor Ryan Ryith as favor and put up with her, after all, she can grow, not matter how long it seems to take.

And who knows how she'll end up?

Skills and Talents:

  • Omega Frame - Suspected to be constructed as an asset in combating the Grimm threat, Mari's frame is constructed for extreme durability, stability and strength, reaching levels far beyond that of any regular Human or Faunus. For an example, look no further than her choice of weaponry, the DA_FBD_IM_V047, something that would quite literally pull the users arm from it's socket if used by any organic form of life.
  • Computer Minded - As a machine, Mari does not forget anything whether it be absolutely vital to a mission's success, or a trivial as the number of shirts someone owns.
  • Auraless - Less a talent than something of it is something of note, as a machine, Mari is without a Soul, Aura, or Semblance. Officially, her Aura is recorded as colorless, and her semblance used as an explanation for her 'Omega Frame' features.

Combat Ability: Efficiency, Power, and Stability. These three words more than adequately describe Mari's combative abilities. Taking full advantage of her mechanical frame, she makes no wasted movements in a combat scenario, each shifting of the shoulder or flick of the finger being made with the situation in mind, and a goal to be had. In addition to it's primary function, Mari makes full use of all the aspects of her weapon, using it's immense weight to utilize the weapon as a bludgeon.

Weaponry:

  • Dust-Assisted_FortificationBreachingDevice_IM_V047: 'The Gatecrasher' - The DA_FBD_IM_V047, otherwise known as 'The Gatecrasher', is an impractically large weapon, consisting of a solid steel 'barrel' reinforced to withstand and contain dust-induced explosions reaching levels of force equal to that of a standard anti-air missile. Originally designed as a vehicle mounted weapon for the breaching of enemy fortifications and strongholds, it is assumed to have been adapt especially for Mari's uses, though, as with all hardware discovered alongside Mari, it's true origins are unknown. By utilizing highly compressed Dust based explosives, The Gatecrasher is able to launch it's secondary component, a long, circular 10 inch thick beam of solid reinforced steel at blinding speeds, delivering a level of force great enough to shatter all but the most powerful on defenses in one, swift blow. Due to it's extreme weight, force generated during use, and generally unwieldy design this weapon is beyond impractical for use by organics, and should only be handled by appropriately designed mechanical units.

  • RetrofittableArmamentInterface_IM_V008 - Consisting of a total of five circular ports located on Mari's back, the RAI_IM_V008 allows for direct interface with specially designed weaponry and other forms of armament. Depending on the intent of use, these can be attached either directly to Mari's body, or via an additional steel limb, measuring at a length similar to that of the arm of an average, grown man. Along with the DA_FBD_IM_V047, four of these attachments were found packed in her crate alongside her, and have since been reverse-engineered, and rebuilt for use. Unusually, the uppermost port is of a different design, and is incompatible with any of the tech found alongside Mari. RAI attachments are only to be used in situations where all persons involved are aware of Mari's robotic nature.
  • Current Armaments -

IR_MR_V017 - The IR_MR_V017 is designed as a medium range assault rifle. While usually loaded with standard issue dust-based ammunition, it is also compatible with a series of customized ammunition, such as incendiary rounds. Additionally, it's barrels can be readily replaced and modified, allowing some degree of further customization of the weapon.
  • BU_HD_V02 - The simplest of the attachments discovered alongside Mari, the BU_HD_V01 is a steel barrier, of similar durability to the casing of the DA_FBD_IM_V047. Around the size of Mari's torso, the BU_HD_V01 is designed for nothing more than defensive purposes, providing the user with a barrier which which they can readily maneuver to intercept attacks.
  • EA_MR_V012 - Designed for explosive fire, the EA_VR_V012 uses a lesser iteration of the charges used by the DA_FBD_IM_V047, measuring at about a quarter of the explosive force and volatility, to allow for launch without the immediate detonation of charges. The EA_MR_V012 can launch a charge around 15M at it's maximum distance, and it can be safely fired at an area ~4.5M from the user at minimum.
  • TU_B_V031 - A jet unit, the TU_B_V031 is designed to give the user a short, concentrated burst of speed. To prevent an imbalance of propulsive force, only two, or four, of these may be used at a time.

Ethics: Follow orders. Morales, ethics, and other such trifles are irrelevant.

Goals: Investigate the vanishing of Ryan Ryith.

Other:

  • Officially, her birthday is recorded as August 7th, and school records have her listed as 18 years old.
  • Additionally, she is recorded as Ryan's adoptive daughter, having the last name of Ryith on most public documents.

Marcus von Stroheim

"Make way for the man of the hour."

Age:

27

Race:

Human

Physical Description:

Six feet tall and gracefully built for a young man, Stroheim is a man of pale complexion, possibly from having stayed indoors for most of his time after his Military days. His most noticeable trait is his strong jaw, his pale-red eyes, and his snowy white hair. These traits imply he suffers from albinism, but he doesn’t seem to be having any of the handicaps that this would bring on him. He dresses up in very immaculate clothes, well-ironed shirts, a spotless, white jacket, black dress pants and brown dress shoes, all the more appealing to the ‘gentleman’ image he so wishes to convey. His aura is of a royal purple colour that radiates around him.

Background:

Marcus von Stroheim and Nicholas Pollack, two boys who had dreams far too big for their small village of Haddock. Marcus was a charismatic lover of heroics, one who wanted so much to show the world a man who could bring about an end to conflict, and Nicholas was a hot-headed Faunus who wanted nothing but to show the world what he, as a solitary Faunus, could do. Both were in complete different worlds, but both wanted the same thing: Glory. The two boys bonded over the stories of changing the world through heroics and they both decided that they would become Hunters, a noble dream to have at the time.

Nicholas and Marcus were on different spectrums entirely, as prospecting Hunters, as well. Marcus could have well failed the Emerald Forest test had he not been saved by Ophelia Kaufmann, whereas Nicholas blazed through the test as if it were nothing more than a jog down to the convenience store. Marcus improved over the days in Beacon, but never once did his Semblance arise, putting him behind in a huge power gap with the rest of Team MOON (Marcus, Ophelia, Orion, and Nicholas). He was not useless, but when compared with his team-mates, he seemed more like a load to them. They pulled him along, nonetheless, Nicholas especially, who was always there to push him to greater heights. Team MOON was a team that Marcus had grown to love. Their graduation was filled with tears of sorrow at their parting. Both Nicholas and Marcus had their sights set on joining the military, to become the men that they had sought out to be, now that they had become true Hunters.

Tragedy, however, split the men apart. Nicholas found himself with the White Fangs, and Marcus with the military. A death within the family, and the massacre of Faunus brought about a change within Nicholas, who then seeked only to bring about revenge. No matter how Marcus attempted to dissuade him, Nicholas left nonetheless. Marcus, alone, forged his path in the military, making a name for himself as a combatant, a consultant, a strategist, and later a leader within the military. He had garnered so much support that soldiers WANTED to be led by him, and he earned a place within the upper echelons of the military. He sought to change the army from within, and he would have done so, in retrospect, had it not been the unlikely resurfacing of a familiar face.

The death of Orion Kingsley at the hands of a notorious leader of the White Fang was devastating news, but not as devastating as learning that the perpetrator was none other than an old friend. Marcus, overwhelmed by anger for the first time in his life, set forth a fire squad after Nicholas. Their chase after the Faunus man took them to a village, where one of the residents had tried to protect their homes. The reciprocation was not a pretty sight, as Marcus later found out. With a good three quarters of the fire squad cut down during the skirmish, and Nicholas nowhere to be found, Marcus joined the search team.

Nicholas died at Marcus' hands three years ago. Nicholas, tired, hungry, and injured, had attempted to challenge Marcus to a single duel. His best friend, who could have triumphed over him in the old days, could barely stand by then, and Marcus, wishing to spare him further humiliation, cut him down. Anger gave in to sorrow, and then to guilt, as he realised what he had done in his chase of Nicholas Pollack. All the lives sacrificed, just for this moment, had been for naught.

Marcus cried.

He sent the body of Nicholas Pollack to the White Fang, and with it, his wishes that the man received a proper burial. Marcus changed after that. He strayed from the war, and when he did go near the battlefield, he never fought. He retired not long after, choosing instead a life of yoga, watching motivational videos, and listening to Joe Hisaishi in his 5-star apartment. Several requests for him to return to service came, but he never responded. He was happy with how things were now...but he was not satisfied.

Personality:

"Stand behind me, and I will ensure none will pass. Stand ahead of me, and I will have your back."

A nice guy. That's all there is to Marcus von Stroheim. He really is, in all appearances, a really, really, really nice guy. He's not perfect, with his boisterous behaviour and his rather insensitive remarks towards others, which are mostly brought upon by his vast levels of ignorance, but he is a decent human being. There is no 'ulterior motive' to his niceness, much to what others may expect. He just wants to be a proper human being with no hatred, no scorn, and no spite for others, even the Faunus. He treats everyone like a friend, and prefers talking over fighting where possible. It seems naive of him to do so in a time and in a world like this, but Stroheim truly believes in the hearts of men, that they want to do no wrong inherently. So much so that he is even willing to forgive those who have wronged him. All in all, a nice guy to have as a friend.

That is not to say Marcus has no other sides to him. While he hardly has a bad thing to say about others, and lacks a proper bad bone in his body, he DOES have his priorities and his relationships. He doesn't wish harm on others, and he would rather avoid combat altogether, but if pushed to a corner where he absolutely has to do something to avert disasters falling upon those he call friends, he will show that he is not to be trifled with. Yes, he is willing to forgive people, and forget their past sins, but every man has his limits. Pushing those limits on Marcus von Stroheim is one way to find out just how true the statement 'Demons run when a good man goes to war' is.

As mentioned, he is a rather insensitive individual, making inappropriate remarks at wrong times, but his ignorance is to be blamed. He can't seem to read physical cues very well, and receives verbal cues even worse. He doesn't do it intentionally, and he always has the best of interests in mind, but there you are. Some people are just too people-dumb. Stroheim also loves to claim that he's the 'leading man', mostly as part of his charm and charisma. It doesn't seem to be a serious claim, however, as he is fully aware that he's not exactly the best of the best. He is more than happy to drum up his act of being a 'hero' for anyone who would entertain him, however. In fact, it's really one of the ways to cheer him up, should he ever feel down.

Skills and Talents:

All Skill, No Semblance

Marcus lacks a Semblance. Like every being with a soul, he has an Aura, but he has never been able to use it as a Semblance. Already heavily crippled from the get-go as such, Marcus has learned, in his years as a student in Beacon, to depend wholly on his own skill and reflexes. Due to never being able to augment himself with his Aura, he is more human than most of his peers, causing him to become the epitome of a weak but skilled combatant and Hunter.

Let's Positive Thinking!

His optimism might as well BE his secondary weapon. It burns as bright as the day. It's near impossible to get him down from his position next to the sun on the ladder of 'sunny disposition'. Even in the rainiest and darkest of days, Marcus always faces forwards, and marches on. He does get a little sentimental and existential on some days, though he usually rectifies this post-haste.

Tough as Nails

It's certainly not his Semblance, as his survival skills are either drummed up to pure luck or pure force of will, and just natural endurance. Either way, Marcus has been flung, smacked around like a ragdoll, sent flying into the air, get caught in explosions, taken a few bullets, broke several ribs, and slipped on the occasional banana peel. As evidenced, he still isn't dead, and seems to be in full working order in spite of everything else.

Combat Ability:

Marcus is a jack of all trades, and a master of none. However, when compared to other humans, and taking in the fact that he IS, after all, a Beacon student, Marcus is still possessing of some skill and ability that would far surpass regular people. He wields his rapier with grace, ability, and expertise, dancing about his opponents with light footsteps, deflecting and parrying blows as he goes, while he pierces their bodies with swift stabs and scratches from the tip of his sword. He is far more adept in hand-to-hand combat, preferring restricting or disabling grapples and grabs, forcing the opponent into submission. He further increases in ability in an area where he can use the environment to its utmost.

Weapon:

Geyrdriful

of_dorothea_s_rapier_by_vampiire666-d706l87.png

Ethics:

Non-lethal tactics are prioritised. Every living thing, man, woman, child, has a life, and every life is more precious than the most precious of gems. His ideal 'mission' is one where no one dies, and no one suffers from the aftermath. He respects those who have died, no matter which side they may be on, and was sometimes seen preparing funerals for the deceased, even the enemy, when he was in the military.

Goals:

"For the world, for the future."

An adage that Marcus follows to the letter. Where he had wronged the world in the years past, Marcus seeks to bring right to wrong, and create a future where no wars and no kidnappings are to be had. No deaths, no battles, no strife. Just peace.

He'll keep going for as long as it takes

Aurora Triscore

  • Name: Aurora Trisore

    Sex: Female

    Age: 26

    Species: Human

    Appearance:
    45b6b86cca09e91650e2641243ff538e.png

Description: When people see Aurora, the first thing they tend to notice is her wavy bright red hair. Other than this, there isn't much notable about her. She is 5'4 and is well built, with cuts and bruises from years of work as a Huntress. Her only major injury is a scar stretching from her right shoulder down to her hand, where an Ursa nearly tore it off.

Clothing wise, Aurora tends to wear the color green, no matter where she is or what's going on. She prefers to wear plain, unimposing clothes both during missions and time off, though if the situation calls for it she isn't unfamiliar with formal or (in her opinion) gaudy outfits. When she is doing repairs, the only thing Aurora will wear is her oil stained jean jacket and pants, but that's the only time that outfit sees the light of day.

Name: Lana Spalding

Age: 29 (She'd prefer you'd not mention it though.)

Race: Human

e1032c07975f87c35d501b0cde289f2e.jpg

Physical Appearance:

A red-headed hotshot, Lana is of an above average height at around 1.81m (5'11). She currently weighs around 70 kilos (154 lbs) having slimmed down some from her youth. A natural redhead, she rarely dyes her hair outside of performances and big events. It has a slight natural curl to it but if left unchecked, will quickly tangle up with a vengeance. Her eyes are a light shade of brown and she wears a pair of dark-rimmed glasses for her shortsightedness. She finds contacts to much of a hassle for day-to-day use, but she wears them every now and then.. Her Aura grows a warm shade of Vermilion.

Background:

Lana was born to a young unwed couple, Harrison, a small time chef living in Vale and an up-and-coming huntress from Mistral. Despite their unquestionable affections for each other, the daunting prospect of having to raise a child and the potential loss of her freedom proved too much for Lana's mother, and she departed just shy of a year after her birth, leaving her ex-fiance behind to take care of their daughter alone.

Despite his relatively meager income, Harrison brought up Lana in relative comfort and safety. Despite not having enough money to give her a formal education, he did his best to educate his young daughter, and he often brought her into his little eatery each day to show her the ins-and-outs of his job and to keep an eye on her. The few regular patrons of the cafe soon grew fond of her, and during their visits would always bring sweets and candies for the spirited lass, and would often chat with her for hours on end.

Many years passed by the happy duo uneventfully, but undoubtedly happily. Unlike the hotshot youngsters her age, yearning to become hunters and huntresses, Lana never was never seduced by the overly romanticised lifestyle of hunters, and saw no appeal in the prospect of risking her life each and every day clashing with the forces of darkness. In her mind, she already had everything one could ask for, a safe life, and people to treasure.

As she neared the age of twelve, her father married a Python Faunus woman, a single mother herself, and she soon found herself in the company of a new mom and baby brother. Her newfound sibling was the complete opposite of her, brash and headstrong, and completely enamoured with the stories and fables of hunters far and wide. The young boy would excitedly blabber on to his new sister each and everyday about various facts and trivia he had learnt about the hunters each and everyday, as well as regurgitate what seemed to be a neverending supply of tall tales of heroics and valor. Each and every time, his eyes lit up excitedly, with a burning passion quite unlike anything Lana had ever seen before, and though initially indifferent, she soon found herself looking forward to her brother's daily sermons.

It seemed however, that her brother's dreams were doomed to remain a fantasy, as on their parents third anniversary, her brother was diagnosed with an affliction of the muscular system that, while not life threatening, left him bedridden with the prospect of recovery uncertain. However, far from devastating him, the ailment seemed not to bother him in the slightest, continuing to feed his fascination with heroes and hunters, and remaining certain he would one day, walk among their ranks.

Moved by his sheer dedication, Lana made up her mind to enroll in Signal academy, and after a year's worth of hoarding her allowance, pleading with her parents and lectures from her brother, she entered the academy. After the several long years of training, she graduated from the academy and wasted no time in handing in her application to Beacon Academy, where the hunters and huntresses of Vale were born, making her brother a promise as the letter went out.

"Just you watch me little bro, I'm going to become the greatest hero out there! And one day I expect you to come up and take that title from me, you understand? Ain't nothing gonna stop me, and there sure as hell better be nothing stopping you!"

Lana graduated from Beacon Academy along with the rest of her squad, Team SLAM, with distinctions, after which the four of them parted on good-terms and went their separate ways. All of them sought out careers in the military, but had different ideas of how to go about it. Lana started out under the employ of the Vale police department under homeland security, but she quickly grew dissatisfied with the lack of activity and low pay. She left shortly after and offered her talents as a freelancer, selling her services to the highest bidder. Contracts offered to her were usually far and few between at the start, but their higher payouts usually meant that she could scrape by for extended dry periods.

Her most frequent employers during her time as a mercenary were dust companies, hiring her as part of security details. It was during this when she had her first run-in with the White Fang, encountering their during a routine perimeter patrol and single-handedly staving off their assault. Shortly after that particular stint had ended, she was contacted by the Vale Military and offered a long term contract, combating the White Fang and other terrorist groups, which she accepted.

Under full military employ from then on, Lana was mainly sent on conventional raids and takedown missions. Espionage was never her forte and she was glad that her employers recognised that. It was also there where she was reunited with a member of Team SLAM, one Maro Valencia served as her superior officer (much to her irritation) and the pair were often sent on operations together. She served her time faithfully and years passed by with nothing of great significance happening. Not the most heroic of jobs a wannabe heroine like herself, but it was certainly something.

Lana was faced with a dilemma shortly after her service ended. Her brother had recently undergone surgery for his muscular condition, which succeeded far beyond doctor’s expectations. It did however, leave savings dangerously low, and unable to properly fund the academy enrollment he so desperately wanted. Lana’s contractual salary was far too spread out to properly pay for the rigidly paced tuition fees, leaving her with little choice but to temporarily retire from active hunter work.

Currently, Lana is working as an actress for the Vale Children’s Network, playing the part of maniacal super-villainess, The Scarlet Scimitar (a fact that her close friends will never cease to bring up around her). She regularly receives draft notices from Maro, urging her to return to military work but she usually just deletes them. Returning wasn’t an option just yet, not unless there was a large reward promised, that much was certain...

Personality:

Lana’s demeanour could be likened to that of a outlandish Saturday Morning Cartoon heroine (rather fitting, considering her occupation). Loud, cocky and with a borderline unhealthy obsession with JUSTICE AND GLORY. It started out as a mere facade she created using a mixture of both her own, and her brother’s ideals of what heroes were like, but over time she became increasingly unable to discern the facade from her own true self, with her ultimately coming to accept it as part of herself. She’s mellowed out a lot as compared to her teenage self and she no longer uses a front of bravado to hide her insecurities, having fully embraced her ‘heroine’ persona. Her sense of humor is also similarly loud, and oftentimes physical, and she takes great enjoyment in teasing those unable to keep up with her. For all her bluster hot-headedness however, she’s quite easy to fluster and embarrass, and it doesn’t take much to turn the tables on her should one know how to.

Lana prefers that people stay together as one big happy family. She’s quick to trust others and usually tries to act as a group anchor and mediator. Heroes after all, have to be loved, else you’re not much of a hero. She absolutely abhors egotism and arrogance of any kind, and is quick to dislike those dismissive of others abilities. Cocksure ‘talented’ individuals who scoff at hard work are at the top of her list, and there is no easier way to piss her off than by acting high-and-mighty.

Lana is a giant nerd when it comes to weapons and gadget tech, an interest of hers that she is utterly inept at hiding. Once a very slight interest many years ago, her fascinations have only grown over the years. All of her equipment is of her own design, and she enjoys whiling hours away coming up with designs for all manner of useless trinkets and knick-knacks. She doesn’t actively bring up tech in everyday conversation, finding it embarrassing to talk about when with her non-hunter coworkers.

Skills and Talents:

Gadgeteer: Lana isn't some genius inventor by any means, but her natural curiosity and quick thinking has served her well in feeding her interest in weapon tinkering and design.

Competent Cook: Having been brought up in a bistro all her life, Lana has picked up no small number of culinary skills from her dearest father. Unlike her hopless mother and brother, she regularly helps out with cooking and can whip up palatable meals when left to her own devices. She excels at savoury meat dishes, but still struggles with regards to sweets and other desserts.

Combat Ability:

Lana is strong, in the very much physical sense of the word. An absolute powerhouse, Lana’s fighting style is focused on one thing alone, complete and overwhelming assault, nothing less. Exhaustion is a far more serious consideration to her than most, so speed and power are key to her. She begins the fight at her weakest, with her semblance having almost no effect. Even then however, she’s strong enough to swing her weapon around without much effort and dart around the battlefield skillfully. As a fight wears on and Lana grows stronger, she becomes an unstoppable juggernaut, crushing all those who stand before her with withering blows, every second ticking by only increasing her frenzy.

Semblance:

Relentless

Lana's semblance quite simply, exhaustion in reverse. Instead of tiring as a battle wears on, Lana's physical attributes like her strength and endurance increase over time, meaning that as her foes fall prey to fatigue, Lana grows stronger still, making drawn out engagements against her tantamount to suicide. The effect of her Semblance has no upper cap and is only limited by her own stamina, meaning that as long as she can stay on her legs during a fight, she never stops growing in power.

While strong, her semblance has two highly exploitable flaws. The first being, that while her body continues to strengthen, her aura degrades as usual and even at accelerated rates once a threshold is reached. The second weakness being that, while her body does strengthen for the duration of combat, her heightened attributes also put an even greater strain on her body, which will eventually come back to haunt her once out of combat or if a fight lasts long enough.

Weapon:

Aurgelmir

Aurgelmir is a large two handed polearm, taller Lana herself when fully deployed. Its design is largely based off her old axe, Urvan, and is thus aesthetically similar to it. The chief differences being its larger size and added functions. The metallic components of Aurgelmir are fashioned from a strong alloy, formulated to be heavier than the average metal to give the weapon even greater heft.

Aurgelmir possess dual, in-built thrusters much like her old weapon did. The thrusters are located to the side of the weapon’s head and can be steered remotely using controller inserted into Lana’s gloves. Unlike her old weapon however, the thrusters are not rocket propelled, instead utilising sonic propulsion by way of Sonic dust crystals. The waves the thrusters generate propel the weapon at extremely high speeds, and are powerful enough to create localised tremors. The crystals also allow the weapon to imbue each of its strikes with sonic energy, increasing its destructive potency.

Aurgelmir also possess a secondary form. When triggered, Aurgelmir’s head splits into multiple components and merges together with the weapon’s thrusters to form a large rectangular hammer-head. The thrusters in this form are located on the back of the head, which allows for powerful swings, but makes it harder for the weapon to maintain flight when thrown, due to the awkward positioning.

Wave Emitter Armament Prototype V2.3: Freikugel

An experimental weapon being improved by Lana. It consists of pair of gauntlets and boots, all connected to a Sonic Dust crystal power-core housed on the user’s back. With the power of the crystal, the user can project sonic energy through their arms and feet, creating powerful shockwaves and vibrations with a wide variety of combat and practical applications. Currently, the boots and gauntlets cannot be used in conjunction with one another and can only be used separately, due to overheating and strain issues, with the failsafe installed into the core kicking in far too quickly. Lana has experimented with giving each component its own, smaller localised core with some success, but so far it has proved extremely costly which means further developments have been halted.

Ethics:

Lana fancies herself a righteous protector of the weak, coming to the aid of those who require it, and opposing 'evil' in all of its forms. Though really, she's not stupid enough to back herself into any moral extremes. She merely tries to help out, and live up to what she thinks what an ideal huntress should be like, a protector of the people. She knows that the whole issue between the Faunus and Humans is a complex and deep affair, but she's happy to play the part of foolhardy fighter for now.

Goals:

To become a hero! An exemplary huntress for all to follow! The whims and views of the public will never be certain, conflicts will arise and ideologies tested, but stories of heroism and the tales of their perpetrators will never die.

Also, find a boyfriend. Seriously it's been 29 years and nothing, it's really depressing.

"One does not simply resurrect a dead Huntress, a Faunus one at that, and turn her into a biological weapon."

Name: Celica Revenant

Nickname: Cel

Age: 25, physical body remained when she was 20.

Race: Faunus - Cat with Synthetic augmentations.

Physical Description: Aside from her obvious cat ears and the unique pair of cat tails, Celica stands about 162cm (5'4") and weighs around 45kg (100 lbs). She commonly wears her knee-length dark green dress, as well as other long outfits such as cloaks or overcoats to conceal her own Faunus features.

Background:

Celica comes from a typical, middle class pure-blooded Faunus family, living in Vale. Like most Faunus, she got a lot of discrimination and flak by her human peers. Eventually, Celica enrolled into Beacon Academy when she was 17, training as a Huntress. Despite that she wanted to prove her worth and bring fame to her family members, Celica's parents and her siblings strongly objected her idea, knowing that being a Huntress is a dangerous job. Even so, Celica continued onwards to her objective.

Fortunately, everything went quite well in Celica's favor, and years later, she was graduated from the Beacon Academy, as a qualified Huntress, with her own team. But that was the end of her luck. Celica's and her team's first mission, which involves handling a horde of Beowolves. At first, her team managed pretty well, until packs of Ursai appeared to assist their fellow Grimms. From there, the tables quickly turned against Celica's team. Faced with the risk of being overrun, Celica and her teammates retreated. However, due to exhaustion, she found herself unable to catch up with her teammates. Before Celica knew it, one of the chasing Beowolves lunged and pinned her on the ground. Unable to break free from the Grimm's grasp, Celica was eventually torn to pieces as the Beowolves made short work of her. Horrified, her teammates could only run as they heard her final but painful screams behind them.

Celica Revenant, Huntress. KIA.

Yeah, that should be the end of Celica Revenant right? Nope. Not really.

Her mangled corpse was immediately retrieved by Atlas Corporation, with the help of their own 'special' clean up crew. What happens next however, was even more worse than seeing Celica being ripped apart. Using their highly advanced technology and their expertise in robotics, they have done the impossible: rebuilding Celica from the dead with synthetic augmentations as well as advanced medical technologies. Even so, she was the first person to be artificially revived from death by Atlas. Before that, countless failures were recorded. The rather... ambitious project, named as Lazarus Project, was headed by Dr. ?????? ??????????. He and the other (mad) scientists were overjoyed by their success, but what about the subject itself?

Will Celica be the same as she was prior to her gruesome demise?

I N F O R M A T I O N | R E D A C T E D

More information will be unlocked as the RP progresses.

After Atlas managed to restore her skills as a Huntress and provided her some basic skills in socializing, Celica became one of Atlas' assassins, tasked to hunt down several key figures responsible for fanning the flames in the ever rising of the Human-Faunus conflict. When White Fang has successfully stole large caches of advanced prototype weaponry from Atlas, the Kingdom was immediately sent into a state of alert. While they are trying to recapture back their stolen equipments, Atlas also started taking out some of the significant members within the roguish organization. This is where Celica and her companion steps in, being tasked to eliminate those designated White Fang leaders.

Despite their efforts, it did little to White Fang. They eventually declared war to the 4 Kingdoms, and as a result, comes the Second Faunus War.

From there, comes a change within the resurrected Huntress who once blindly followed the Corporation's orders. She began to think about herself. Sentience ensued as Celica began to think why Atlas resurrected her from death. Why she would end up being as Atlas little 'cleaning' tool. At the same time, Lazarus Project was shut down, its records erased. Dr. ?????? ?????????? and his team disappeared without a single trace. Having no expertise on the Lazarus Project as well as on how to deal with the subjects, Celica's sentience went unchecked, even with the newer generation of scientists administered her with drugs that were supposed to keep her under control. At the end, Celica and her partner Vorona, went rogue during an assassination in Mistral. Both of them escaped in a dropship and become fugitives.

Celica stayed low in Vacuo, hoping that the harsh environments there would deter Atlas from searching for her. After a period of time running odd jobs and sustaining herself in the desert kingdom, Celica went back to Vale, using the same dropship that she stole from Atlas. Her old, suppressed memories, both good and bad, slowly flooded her thoughts as the mind-numbing drugs wear off. Celica's memories of her death never been this vivid, and she yearned for her family. At the same, Celica learned to despise Atlas, as she remembered the monstrosities that Dr. ?????? and his team done to her. Even so, her memories are still far from perfect, as there are several empty gaps within her head.

...

Now, Celica works in a private security firm for rich Humans and high-profile Faunus, acting as their security detail on a pay-per-day basis. The firm pays her handsomely with combinations of credits and Dust, under the alias Cel. With the random disappearances occurred throughout the Four Kingdoms, more and more affluent people and VIPs began employing those security firms...

Personality:

Most of the time, Celica maintains a calm demeanor, compared to her cheery personality before she died. Even so, she is prone to sudden change of behaviour, especially whenever Atlas or White Fang is mentioned. Celica will never forget what Atlas has done to her, while she regards that White Fang is 'making a mountain out of a molehill', referring that White Fang methods are too radical. Those behaviours ranged from normal annoyance, up to borderline psychotic. Mess with Celica, and she will return it 2x to 3x more. Treat her kindly, and she will do the same.

Those who are trying to predict how Celica thinks and how she acts will definitely have a hard time. She will never think twice to kill someone totally unrelated to the mission, solely because she feels that person is a threat to her. Or displaying a hint of kindness in certain tragical events that most people expected that she will not be lending a hand on. Even so, Celica will follow orders, as long it is logical and rational, like your average person or Faunus. Otherwise she will just betray you and walk off, as she is tired in blindly following orders just like when she was in Atlas.

Protip in interacting with Celica? Just treat her like a typical person with the right amount of politeness, avoid mentioning about Atlas and White Fang, and you will be fine.

Skills and Talents:

-> Semblance: Bullet Time

One of Celica's main strengths, where she can increase her reflexes twice faster than a trained Huntsmen. With her Semblance, Celica is able to react to situations faster than most peoples. The Semblance is automatically triggered whenever she gets ambushed, allowing her to turn the table, at the expense some of her Dust reserves within her body.

The Bullet Time is fueled by two power sources. One is Dust, and another is Celica's stamina, specifically her adrenaline. Continued usage of Bullet Time will tire her out, but this limitation can be bypassed by forcibly stab herself with a Crystalline Dust of any kind, allowing her to eke out extra 10 seconds for Semblance usage, but Celica will become unconscious should she fully utilizes the extra 10 seconds, due to extreme exhaustion.

Dust-fueled version of the Semblance will let her react even more faster, as much as three times the speed of a typical soldier. Celica coined her Semblance as Bullet Time, as whenever she uses it, she feels that everything slows down to a crawl, leaving only distorted voices and bleeding lights, just like in the movies.

-> Die Hard

Ever since she has escaped from Atlas's grip, Celica actually considered to end her unnatural lifespan, but she cannot bring herself to do it on her own. Whenever Celica receive injuries, it only fueled her resolve to fight, allowing her to ignore the pain of the injuries. She plans to die in a blazing glory... with countless bodies around her, regardless of race.

-> Last Faunus Standing (L.F.S.)

Should Celica receives a fatal wound (eg a stab to her heart), she will enter the state of Last Faunus Standing. From there, her Semblance will kick in for a limited period of time, assisting her to get the second wind. Should she manages to kill the thing or person who dealt the fatal blow to her, Celica will recover from the mortal injury, but consuming all of her Dust reserves in her body as well as her adrenaline levels. There is a rumor that once spread in the scientists section of Altas Corporation, stating that Celica purportedly survived a decapitation from a Beowolf thanks to this very skill. As for the Faunus-Cat girl however, she has no recollection of such event.

Combat Ability:

Celica may not be fast when it comes to pure speed nor possessing a lot of strength, but she has fast hands and legs. When Atlas rebuilt her body, they tried to keep her as organic as possible, with a combination of her own remaining body parts mixed with synthetic tissues and bones to fill in the gaps. The lead project speculated that giving Celica a full metallic, synthetic body would have destroyed her ability to use Aura and Semblance. Durability wise, she is no different than another woman of her age, perhaps slightly stronger due to her synthetic bones.

The Faunus was previously trained by Beacon Academy to use her Sourenge, her double-saber to deal with the Grimms, and her twin handguns as an auxiliary weapon. When she was resurrected by Atlas however, her specialty changed. Seeing that Celica will be dealing mostly humanoid enemies compared to Grimms, Atlas retrained her, focusing on her twin handguns instead of her double-saber.

To take advantage of her Semblance, Celica eventually learned shootdodging. By diving to the sides, backwards, or in extreme cases, forward with her guns drawn and her Semblance on, she could surprise and take out a group of humanoid enemies before they could even do anything. She also has some hybrid close-quarters fighting skills too, with her guns or otherwise.

Weakness:

Atlas retrained Celica to be more anti humanoid and focused on her guns, instead of specializing in fighting Grimms using her double-sabers. Her reversed specialty clearly displayed her weakness, as most Dust bullets are not effective against the monsters compared to melee weapons.

Weapons:

-> Twin Caliber

A pair of Kimber Custom II handguns, with modifications to fire custom-made Dust ammunition (known as .45 ACP Dust, ex FDJ, Full Dusted Jacket rounds with Dust-tipped bullets for unarmored targets, or FMJ rounds with Dust cores for more penetration). Made in Atlas which is known for its exceptional quality. Celica's standard issue twin handguns when she was an assassin for Atlas Corporation. Can be transformed into an inconspicuous briefcase.

-> Sourenge ?????*

A Vacuo-made double saber with a design motif on the autumn season. Its glowing orange-yellow edges has a distinctive pulsating glows. Celica got this weapon as a present from her parents before she went for Beacon Academy. A complex weapon that requires proper training and dexterity, or the user may risk hurting him or herself. Under the right hands, the Sourenge can deal multiple hits with only a few swings. Celica rarely uses Sourenge, let alone bringing it outside, especially when the Second Faunus War is in effect.

Ethics

Those who are affiliated with Atlas and White Fang are her sworn enemy. Unless they provide a very convincing argument, Celica will not think twice to kill them, Faunus or not, as those who allied or are from Atlas will possibly know that Atlas has been actively hunting for her, and they will probably report her location to Atlas. As for White Fang, they have realized that Celica has a part in assassinating their leaders, and Celica herself hated the way how the organization do their things.

Otherwise, Celica does not give a care to those who are indifferent to her. There are times where she was ticked off by the humans' discrimination on her, but it was nothing compared to her hatred to Atlas and White Fang.

Goals

Celica has little goals, just only three. End the 'stupendous war' as the Faunus claimed. Find the lead scientist who resurrected her and make his life a living hell before killing him off in an execution. Once the other two has been done, find a way to end her own life which has been extended unnaturally.
