Inuyasha roleplay anyone? Possible group and romance

I'm rewatching Inuyasha once more and am really starting to crave doing an rp in the universe. However, I will not want to be doing cannon's. I'd really want to rewrite the entire show/manga and use original characters. That way anyone who hasn't watched the show but knows what it's about can join in. And there also wouldn't be the stress of trying to play a character right. Though we don't have to! We can play original if you really really want to.


I want it to start off as a 1x1 but it could grow into a small group rp with I'd say a total of four or five characters. Or, we could do a 1x1 and just introduce the characters ourselves, but I would like other people to join our roleplay too though. There would be a few rules if we were to do a small group rp however.


I have a busy life, so I can't post once and then get off to go do something and then come back to fifty posts. That would make me want to drop the rp rather than continue and I know there are others who feel the same. So, it doesn't matter what order you post in, but you can't post again until everyone else has had a chance. Yes, it might make it a bit slow this way but it is better to be slow and let everyone have a chance to roleplay than someone being gone for a day and missing out on the action when life got in the way and they couldn't post.


Sorry for rambling there lol but I just feel like that would make it easier on everybody. I also want posts to be at least be a paragraph long with at least 5 sentences. Each sentence no less than 4 words. That way we can all have something to work with. Okay, so is anyone at all interested in this? And would you prefer 1x1, small group, or what?


I'm just wanting to see if there's any interest in this. If there is, then I'll put up the code for character sheets (only if we aren't going with the original characters)

I've watched a huge bunch of Inuyasha, but haven't finished it. I love the idea of basically rewriting it but with OC's, since I do that a lot in my own head.


I'd prefer a small group, but I'm really flexible. Also, don't worry about being a bit slow when posting. I hate Rp's that when you leave for a hour suddenly there's 5 new pages of text, especially since I don't have access to a computer 24/7…
 
Great ^_^ . Glad that someone's interested. Small group it is. By that, do you mean us sharing the characters or waiting for a few other people to join?
 
I've never been more than one character, so having multiple people would be great.
 
Okay, ^_^ we can do that. And if you are okay with Melody joining in on the rp then we should be fine on the amount of people ^_^ .

If you want to play a cannon that's fine by me ^_^ . We can go either way with canon's or oc's so which ever one you guys want to go with is totally fine by me ^_^ . Sorry if I didn't make that clear in my original post lol.
 
Yes you can do a version of Inuyasha ^_^ . and @Melody Frazier, if you mean as a character go ahead otherwise I don't know what you mean ^_^ .


And @RedInkKid. If you mean Moriko that was my character sheet. However, if you meant something else entirely then go ahead ^_^ . And in her bio I had included that because I was going to make Moriko this version of Kagome, which is why I asked about it lol.


And if you are still joining Redink, then all the spots are filled. I don't want too many people joining because then it would just get hectic.

Both are my character. One in demon form, the other in human form


This is Yuuri. She's 12 years old and weilds Son of Tessaiga, given her by her father, Inuyasha, who used his own fang to create such sword. Being only a quarter demon doesn't phase her. You cross her, you get attitude. You talk about her bloodline, you get hurt. Simple as that. You insult family or friends, not even a jewel shard can save you. I think they were referring to the thread, which I do agree. It was a bit late when I put it together...I think it was late anyways lol I was sleepy. 
Okay, so Melody, your character was good ^_^ except for one thing. If we are rewriting the entire anime then I don't really see Inuyasha as having a kid. HOWEVER: we could do an "into the future" kind of thing where everything that happened in the show happened and we would just be continuing it. Like, the jewel is shattered again or it was just never put back together. I've not seen the ending of Inuyasha so I don't really know what happens lol, no spoilers please. But this way, everything about your character would be perfectly okay. Unless we made it an alternate universe and Inuyasha and Kikyo got together and had a kid and Kagome wouldn't have met Inuyasha and what not.


So, in saying that, I think we need to agree in where we are going to go with the story before actually planning characters or altering them. So, original, rewrite, or into the future? I'm totally up for either of these things but we need to know definitely where we would be going.


@Redink, since I didn't really give my character in way of much besides age and gender, you are more than welcome to do your twist. I just ask that I still keep the name Moriko for my character ^_^ . However, everything else is okay and I'm more than happy to play a different kind of human character because I have another entire bio backed up in case someone else wants to play a version of Kagome. And my character should fit with any of the desired story timelines, but I'll wait and see just to make sure.
 
I had an idea where the priest/priestess was the jewel-- rather than the jewel being shattered, it can be a soul. We can refine if needed...just makes for an original spin.
 
If Kagome and Inuyasha had a child, it'd mostly be human. Thus, causing a problem with it's powers....


Unless, there were fraternal twins involved. One could be a spiritually gifted human, sent back to live with Mrs. Higurashi. One would be able to stay with it's parents, having the half demon side..


I kibda wanted to miko to be a boy, but its up to you.
 
And @Melody, that would work if we did an into the future thing with it and I can make RedInk's idea work with it as well. I don't know how Inuyasha ends, so for the purposes of this rp it would more than likely have to be different. For some reason we can work out later, when the jewel was put back together, finally, the jewel had to merge with a soul. This way, you wouldn't have to change a thing about your character Melody, and we can use RedInk's idea.


And go ahead, you can play Miko as a boy ^_^ . I'm not that good at boys. I also think I see Higurashi as a different version of Kayata (sorry can't spell her name) Only she wouldn't talk as annoyingly lol.
