So, I have a sort of plot idea that would basically be an AU of InuYasha (so, no Canon characters). It would basically be the same concept of InuYasha, where someone from modern day Japan falls through and finds themselves in feudal Japan. A time where demons still existed, and priestesses and priests had special powers.
I think it would be most fun and interesting if it could be more then one character that is "special" and can see the Shikon jewels and whatnot. But it would be kind of lame if only one person was "special" in some way, and only one person that could do all that (for example) Kagome was able to do. So, I was thinking, in the AU, around five people from modern day Japan would have pieces of the Shikon jewel located somewhere from within them, but the characters themselves are unaware of this fact. They, for the most part, act and seem like utterly normal human beings.
Before the protector of the Shikon jewel is killed, he/she broke it into five pieces and stored it within five other humans near death, without anyone else's knowledge. No one in the feudal era is aware of what had become of the Shikon jewels, which (as one could imagine) upsets all the people and demons who desire to have it for themselves.
In the future (modern day Japan) there is a festival at a nearby temple, where a few demons had died a few hundred years ago. When the five with the Shikon jewel come near the temple, the demons spirits are aroused and take shape, causing them to rise from the ground and attack the five of those that possess the Shikon jewel. During the chaos, their eventually grabbed by the demons and pulled through the temple and into the feudal era.
The plot is not complete, and admittedly has a few holes in it. But this is the basic idea, and if anyone would like to add or suggest ideas, they may feel free to do so.
I would prefer if the roleplayer participants are at least semi-lit (which to me would mean you can at least write 1-2 paragraphs). It would also be nice if we could keep the amount of humans, demons, males and females as even as possible.
If you are interested, please let me know and once the plot is more complete, I will make an actual roleplay thread for this. ^^
