Introductions

Hmm.... Well I always had a love of fantasy. I read The Lord of the Rings as a child in elementary school. My friends introduced me to Dungeons and Dragons when I was a freshman in high school and it kicked off from there.

LotR into D&D, nice! I myself started in D&D (signature even shows it), but I was between tabletop and LARP. Do you have any other genres that you focus around (such as Horror, Steampunk etc)?

Hmm... Does medieval count as a genre? I like Fantasy-Magic style roleplays. I've dabbled a bit in modern and steampunk and enjoy them if they are pulled off correctly. I also do Anime-Logic style stuff if I'm in the mood.

If it exists and is a genre in books, movies, TV shows etc then it does. If a genre is one that is used in anything then it does, you can even combine genres to make another unique one. Fantasy is one of my favourites, my other is Steampunk. I've dabbled in a lot of other genres, but Fantasy and Steampunk are my forte. Anime-logic is something that a lot of people do, I myself did it a lot in my LARPs back in high school.

Welcome to RPN! Feel free to find me if you’re looking for a medieval style play- I happen to be quite fond of that genre.
