Vendetta
It's a sin to kill a mockingbird.
Once there was a book with all its pages black,
From which a young writer sprung with an ink skull on her back.
She nodded and waved, gave a two-finger salute,
And her spidery hand gestured to a page in her suit.
She pulled out the paper from a pocket inside,
And cleared out her throat in a play of pride.
"Hello hello," she said with a nod,
"I'm sure that to you I'll come off quite odd,
For I am reciting each line in a rhyme,
Because it may not be something you see all the time."
She wanted to stand out from what's been done before,
But the heart in her chest hopes she won't be a bore.
It's actually her first time on a website like this,
With forums and categorizes so she can't reminisce.
But that's not to say she hasn't roleplayed in the past,
For she'd tell you she's been doing it for at least five years if you asked.
She writes little stories when she can find the spare time,
"So I'm pretty well-versed," she said with a chime.
"I suppose I'm advanced," she dared to say,
"And I get quite immersed in the roles I play.
If I had to guess at the typical size of my post,
I wouldn't limit myself by capping an ‘at most.’
I would probably have no less than paragraphs totaling four,
But as I mentioned above it could likely be more."
She hoped that some were still continuing to read,
As she would feel rather sad if people had fleed.
"If you would like to start up a one on one with me,
I would probably say yes with a repeated times three.
To the preference of genre I enjoy a setting of modernity,
So if we choose to use that I'll love you for eternity."
She goes on to promise she doesn't always rhyme what she speaks,
And that she was merely employing it as a round of techniques.
It was at this point she could not think of what else to say,
So she decided that she would go ahead and put this on display.
For those still here she would give a bruschetta,
And tell them that they could call her Vendetta.

This took me forever to plan. Please love me.
P.S. I don't actually have a tattoo of a skull on my back.
I just needed somethin' for the sake of the rhyme.
P.P.S. Tattoos are cool though, yo.
P.P.P.S. My internet went all wonky when I was about to post this,
and I almost lost all of what I wrote. I think I would have cried, LOL.
I wish there was more that rhymed with Vendetta.
