It has been 7 years since Amanda Sinclair and her husband, Edward, disappeared from their comfortable Knightsbridge apartment with all their money and their two-year-old daughter, Elizabeth. In under 24 hours, the Sinclairs had vanished from the face of the planet and presumed dead... until now.
Amanda's father, Johnathan Waldegrave, 4th Earl of Plymouth, received a mysterious telegram. Allegedly from Amanda, the message reads that she's held against her will, in great danger, and will die if funds aren't sent to a certain bank account. Police trace the ownership of the account to a senior woman in Inverness, Scotland, but is unable to press charges or take further action due to the lack of evidence.
However, further digging reveals that the woman is linked to a pagan cult, the Church of Einden, based on the Orkney Islands, 10 miles off the Scottish coastline. Not much is known officially about the cult, nor its leaders, but word on the street is that they're building a Utopia and no sane man returns from the island.
You are an agent from Hacketty & Goldman, a prestigious private detective agency. Recently hired by Johnathan Waldegrave, your mission is to travel to the island under the guise of a convert, rescue Amanda and her family, and return to the mainland. Accompanied by a team of your peers, you must solve the mystery surrounding the Sinclair's disappearance, and gather evidence condemning the cult. However, you mustn't reveal your identity and compromise the mission, or there will be deadly consequences.

"Into the Unknown; A God's Calling" is a mystery, lovecraftian, horror RP based upon films such as "The Wicker Man", "Apostle" and "The Ritual". Set in 1920's Britain, you and your fellow agents must rescue a supposedly kidnapped woman and gather evidence of the cult performing illegal activities. Don't be fooled, however, this RP has a paranormal twist. Be warned, It will be psychologically disturbing as it is paranormal.
This RP rewards good communication skills, clever problem-solving and critical thinking but punishes reckless actions, so be careful and be very aware.
I would like the size of this group to be around 5-6 people so only show interest if you're super committed to the idea.
