Disclaimer: I'm not calling anybody out or saying anyone did anything bad. =)Prior to posting in-game, I recommend communicating here in OOC.

Hey you! Guess how I found out that there was going to be a Character change? When RP Nation told me. Being a natural and enthusiastic communicator, I immediately relayed that information here. All of us posted accordingly and now we are here.
In any game I play in, I try hard to let folks know my intentions and I hardly have communication-related problems as a result. For example, every last one of you knew I was changing my name from Dannigan to Purr, right? I didn't receive a single message site-wide saying I wasn't thorough or clear enough or that I had posted in a tardy fashion. All I received were heartfelt posts and smiles! (Still feels good!)
So, what would I have liked? I would have liked either the GM or the Player or both to have told us in advance this chatacter swap was going to take place. I don't like surprises of this nature; they lead to problems like the ones we're having.
I would have also loved an in-game farewell post from the Player Character doing the character-swapping! That moment to say goodbye can be precious to some of our more sensitive players, like myself. I feel it provides closure for the characters and a solid means to move on without jarring surprises.
Think of it! How differently might Mercy have felt if Amara had told Mercy first her intentions to leave the Circle? Who can blame Mercy for how she feels without that touch of communication? Of thoughtfulness? I certainly can't blame her!
To me, role-playing is an art form as well as a skill. I think there is always room for improvement somewhere. Moments like these gice me the opportunity to learn something good. I hope this has helped you learn something good too!
Honor and fun,
Purr =)
