Psychie Really? I'd be delighted, Your Psychieness! You too, bud! Sherwood . You guys go nuts every time someone brings up an Exalted game. There is clearly something special about it!

I've played enough of White Wolf's early games to understand their basic d10 system; it's the world of Exalted and everything that makes it so that I know precious little about.

For example, you are playing Exalted v3.0? What book or books could I purchase that would help me follow along?

There is the Core book, that has in it all the rules you need to know of how to build a Solar Exalt, and the rules for game play are the same for all three types of Exalts that are currently published. Getting the PDF from Drive-Thru.com shouldn't be too much.

Other books that are good to have are:
Miracles of the Solar Exalted: It is a small text of extra powers that the Solars can access that Kickstarter Backers requested from the game designers. Good stuff in it.

Arms of the Chosen: A book of Artifacts and Hearthstones.

Lunars - Fangs at the Gate: The splatbook for the shapeshifting Lunar Exalts, probably my favorite kind of Exalted.

Dragon-Blooded - What Fire Has Wrought: The book for the elemental-aspected Dragon Blooded.

These are the big ones to get.

It is simple. Once you have made a post, go back and edit it. Down at the lower left side of the post there is the option to Roll Dice. Click that, and it gives you the option for the number and type of dice to roll. Once rolled, the dice roll can't be deleted, so there is no risk of someone rolling a dozen times and posting only the good roll they get.

Purr There are a few other books available, like the Hundred Devil's Night Parade (a compilation of animals and monsters to use). I know you have a limit to the number of games you like to play and run, but I would always welcome you into the game if you were ever interested in branching out to a new system.

I, too, would be willing to help out with advice. Plus, both Rykon and Jaydude are outstanding Exalted players, and I suspect that if you were to ask them for input, they would be happy to aid you.

Just so everyone knows, if you are able to give me a decent description of what you are doing, you can pretty much be guaranteed to be able to assign a level one Stunt to your post. I will let you know if and when you hit the level two Stunt level, and if you wow the group with what you post, then you have gotten the ever so rare level three Stunt.

Also, this PDF Bundle from DriveThruRPG looks like a good one? It's the same price as the PDF of the Core book, but you get a few extra goodies. Yes? (I understand getting the mammoth 600+ page physical book just isn't worth it?)

I have all the physical books along with the PDFs, but I am an Exalted fanboy that has backed several projects on Kickstarter. That bundle will do you good, though, and just the PDF is sufficient to get the job done.
