Into the Future

Kaito sat at the kitchen counter and watched as Min Hee began to cook away. He took a book out of his bag and began reading it in silence.


"Goal!",Tael Zhe cheered as him and the twins played virtual soccer with excited smiles on their faces.
 
Elliot smiled at Min Hee


"Could we help?" She asked.


Micheal chuckled and walked over


"Hey, is there room for one more?" He asked.
 
"Of course",Min Hee said with a smile as she made space and then stood on the other side of Kaito. "Oppa",she called his attention,"Can you try this please?",she asked as she held out a homemade cupcake. Kaito nodded and opened his mouth with a smile before taking a bite of the cupcake. "It's delicious,Min",Kaito responded before leaning over and kissing her.


"Join my team,Micahel",Tael Zhe suggested

Elliot giggled and Peter smiled


"You two are so cute." Peter said.


Micheal nodded


"Cool." He said and sat next to Teal Zhe.
 
Kaito pulled away and smirked at them,"How's Min Woo and Shin Woo?",he asked,"Oblivious as always?". Min Hee gently kissed his head,"Oppa..don't tease them",she said. Kaito smiled at her,"Okay,Min",he said and then laced his hands over the counter with hers,"I'm sure that Elliot and Peter can finish cooking themselves...besides,I need help with homework",he stated.


Tael Zhe handed him a helmet,"Don't forgot your virtual headgear",he stated,"Only way to get into the game"
 
Elliot giggled.


"A genius like Kaito Kaneko needs help with his homework?" Peter asked.


Micheal smiled


"Thanks Teal Zhe." He said and took the helmet, putting it on.
 
Kaito gave them a look,"Yes...and Min Hee needs to help me",he stated before guiding Min Hee over to him and had her sit on his lap,while they looked at the book together. Kaito whispered something to her and she giggled with a smile on her face.


Soul smiled when he saw that everyone had come down,"Ah...please have a seat",he suggested as he pressed a button and even more chairs and sofas appeared in the already,large living room
 
Elliot giggled and continued to make the cupcakes with her brother.


Everyone sat down and waited anxiously.
 
Min Woo and Shin Woo walked in,going into the fridge to get some drinks,laughing and teasing Kaito and Min Hee,who were snuggling together instead of doing homework.


"So,you all are from the year 2013",Soul said with a smile,"How interesting..."
 
Elliot and Peter eyed Min Woo and Shin Woo while still making the cupcakes together.


Maggie nodded


"Yup."
 
"Sweet,cupcakes",Shin Woo said as he grabbed four. Min Woo grabbed the drinks and stuck his tongue out at Kaito and Min Hee with a teasing smile on his face.


"I'm assuming that you do not know how to return to your time...so I will be happy to have you all as my company",Soul said with a smile,"My friend,Tai has close connections to Princeton High,so your children may attend classes there with my daughter and her friends",he said and then stood up,"I should introduce myself though",he chuckled,"My name is Soul Eu Min,welcome to the year 2159",he said.
 
Peter blushed lightly and smiled


"Thanks." He said. Elliot glanced at Peter and nudged him lightly. Peter gave Elliot a look as if to say "Be Cool!"


Samual stood and held out his hand.


"Samual Brown."
 
"What do you all think of the new kids?",Min Woo asked as he took a seat at the counter. "They seem nice",Min Hee responded. "The Sun girl is pretty cute",Shin Woo stated and Min Woo nodded. "Oh wait..",they smirked at one another,"Tael Zhe obviously called dibs",they stated. "Cho is pretty cute too",Min Woo said. "I think she likes Shen",Kaito said,"I'm usually right too",he stated,"It's a gene from my dad".


Soul smiled and shook his hand before pulling his hand back and then he began speaking,"Many of my friends are individuals who are very successful",he said,"My brother-in-law owns a hospital and I own Daegu Entertainment,currently the top entertainment in the whole world",he explained,"When everyone arrives for the barbecue,you may ask them for more information",he suggested.
 
Elliot shrugged


"I'm sure they're nice..."


"We don't know much about them." Peter added.


Samual smiled as he sat down next to Kyung-Mi. There was a knock at the door.


"Hey Soul! Open the door!! Its hot out here!" Jessica yelled from outside.
 
Tael Zhe walked in with Michael,Sun,Cho,and Shen behind him. "You think the new comers can eat lunch with us tomorrow?",he asked. "We would appreciate it if we could",Shen said with a smile. "Well,sure",Min Hee said with a giggle,"We always enjoy new friends",she stated. "Just don't try to steal Min Hee from Kaito and you're good",Min Woo and Shin Woo whispered to Shen as they stood next to him. Tael Zhe smiled at Sun,"I hope we have some classes together",he said with a blush on his cheeks. Sun giggled and nodded,before looking down at her feet with a shy smile. "NO!",Shin Woo and Min Woo shouted as they both hugged Tael Zhe,"Do not take the innocence of this child!",they pleaded while Tael Zhe turned red from embarrassment.


Soul sighed,"Sorry,let me get that",he said before walking over to the door and opened it,"Jessica...why must you be so loud in the afternoon?",he asked with a sigh.
 
Cho giggled and sat next to Elliot and Peter.


"Are they always like this?" She asked. Micheal nodded


"Yes they are." He said.


Jessica giggled


"Aw come on Soul you know that's your favorite part about me." She said and dotted his nose before walking in. "So I need names." She said gesturing toward all of the new people on Soul's couches. Meroko, Sandra, and Jin Ae came in behind Jessica.


"Hi Soul.." They said with a smile.
 
Kaito sighed,"So much for peace and quiet...",he mumbled as he buried his face in Min Hee's hair. Min Hee smiled,"It'll be great having more teenagers in the house...it's sometimes lonely with just me and my Appa".


Soul closed the door and sighed before he walked into the living room,"This is Samual,Kyung-Mi,Maggie,Bae,Chin Ho,Hana,Levi,Lu Chu,Victor,Hime,Lilly,Timothy,Lau,Lou,and Hyorin",he said as he pointed at each one,"There are three teenagers but they are in the kitchen with the rest of kids",he stated. Soul's phone rang and he answered it,walking to the backyard to speak to whoever was on the other end. "Hi",Hime smiled. Lilly looked confused,"Are you Min Hee's mother? You look nothing like her",she stated,"If not...then who are you?"
 
Cho giggled.


Jessica blushed and shook her head.


"No. I'm just close friends with Soul."
 
"Are the cupcakes ready?",Tael Zhe asked as he took one of the cupcakes from Min Woo and took a bite out of it.


"You like him",Lu Chu stated,"It's quite obvious".
 
Elliot giggled.


"They will be soon. Hold your horses."


Jessica blushed


"Well yeah....but he doesn't pay much mind to me."
 
"Dude...cupcake stealing isn't right",Shin Woo stated as Tael Zhe took another cupcake for Sun.


"Whose this beautiful woman?",Victor asked as he pointed at a framed picture of Soul and Soo Yeon on their wedding day
 
The twins chuckled and Elliot held out a cupcake to Tael Zhe.


"Here."


Jessica sighed


"Thats Soul's late wife..."
 
Tael Zhe grinned and took the cupcake,"Thank you!",he said before handing it to Sun


"She looks so young...",Timothy said as he looked at the picture,"And resembles Min Hee",he stated. Lilly nodded in agreement,"How did she die?",she asked
