Into the Future

"Now",Jinki began,his voice and facial expression suddenly turning serious,"I want this project done in three weeks,no mistakes. I assure that you will be able to handle that Tai",he said. Tai nodded,"When haven't I been able to?",he questioned.
 
Levi took out a notebook from his bag and a pen from his pocket and began to take notes and listen as Jinki and Tai talked.
 
"I assume that the new hover car will not require being refilled with gas every 7560 miles,correct?",Tai asked as Jinki nodded. "Yes,the car will need to be refilled with gas after 45600 miles",he responded.
 
Levi nearly dropped his pen. He held his tounge and continued to take notes.


Elliot, Peter, and Micheal were walking to lunch when they saw Cho looking around in confusion. She was twirling around trying to figure out where to go. They all laughed


"Hey Cho!" Peter called out to her. Cho turned and smiled at the three. She scurried over to them with a smile


"Hey guys! Have you seen Min Woo and Shin Woo? I was supposed to meet them by the lunch room.....I think I got lost." The three chuckled


"Come with us." Micheal said, "we'll show you to the lunch room."
 
"Cat got your tongue,newbie?",Tai questioned with his arms crossed over his chest,he didn't even have to look at Levi to know that he had bit his tongue. Mika gently placed her hand onto Tai's arm,"Don't make fun of the new worker",she said while Tai gave her a small smile.


Sun and Shen were sitting with Tael Zhe and Min Hee,who were talking to them about the clubs and various classes that would be great to attend. Kaito,Shin Woo,and Min Woo had gone to get lunch for the table,with the twins teasing Kaito about Shen being competition.


"We need someone named Chin Ho",a man said as he looked into the training room,"He will be auditioning right now for secondary lead in the new drama,'Stealing The Bride'",he said. Lu Chu and Xiao Sa looked over at Chin Ho,before they looked back at one another and began talking. "Xiao Sa looks like that guy that Lu Chu liked back in our time,huh?",Lilly asked Hana as she stared at the two.
 
Levi blushed lightly.


"Sorry it's just where I come from cars aren't that.......efficient".





Elliot, Peter, and Micheal led Cho into the large lunch room. They weaves through the large crowd of people before finding their table with the others


"Hey guys" Peter said as everyone took a seat at the large round table. Cho smiled


"Hi everyone."





Chin Ho looked up with a smile. He stood


"I'm Chin Ho."
 
Tai shrugged,"You've reached the new world",he stated. Jinki chuckled,"Don't worry about it",he reassured,"Just ensure that you work hard and efficiently do your work",he stated.


"Hey",came the chorus of replies from Sun,Shen,Tael Zhe,and Min Hee.


"You're ready for your audition?",the man asked. Lilly nudged Hana,"Hey...I know you enjoy drooling over Xiao Sa,but at least answer my question",she said,"Doesn't he look like the guy that Lu Chu liked back in our time?",she asked.
 
Levi nodded


"Of coarse." He said


Cho smiled


"So whats for lunch?"


Chin Ho smiled and nodded


"Yes sir."


Hannah looked at Xiao Sa she nodded


"Yeah, a little bit."
 
Tai pressed some slots on the hologram,revealing already blueprints of the product,"What I am thinking is that...",he suddenly went to a whole explanation that was complex and detailed,which Jinki understood completely and with ease.


"Whatever you want",Min Hee replied with a smile. Tael Zhe nodded,"Yeah,there are various stations to order whatever ya want",he said.


"Good,follow us and be quick about it",the man said as he walked out of the room,"We have multiple of other auditions and many celebrities who need to be interviewed".


Xiao Sa and Lu Chu walked over to Lilly and Hana. Lilly grinned,"How long have you been in the industry?",she asked. "Since I was a boy",Xiao Sa replied,"My parents were both actors and I ended up following in their footsteps. Jung Hwa and I actually both grew up as child actors",he explained.
 
Levi did his best to write down notes. This whole electronic stuff was strange. He was used to the fashion industry and he kept his focus trying to figure out what everything meant.


Cho seemed surprised.


"Really?" Elliot giggled


"Me, Peter, and Micheal are going up to get our food. You can come with if you want." Cho nodded


"Ok..."


Chin Ho nodded and followed the man out of the room.


Hana smiled


"Who are you parents?" She asked curiously.
 
Once the meeting ended,Jinki shook hands with Tai and hugged Mika,thanking them for their time. "Just don't keep me waiting next time",Tai told Jinki as he wrapped an arm around Mika's waist.


"We'll catch ya soon",Sun said with a wide smile as she waved at them.


He led Chin Ho into the audition room where Jung Hwa,Ai Min,and Emma Watson sitting in three chairs behind a table. There was a large stage in front of them and multiple of cameras and lights,almost as though it was an actual filming.


Xiao Sa smiled,"Fa Jian Su and Fa Xian Li",he responded,"They still act and whatnot,but now in the states"
 
Levi stood and smiled.


Cho sighed and she looked around.


"This is so confusing...." She said looking around hopelessly. Peter chuckled and pulled Cho into line with him.


"Chill out Cho. Its not that difficult."


Chin Ho smiled looking around.


"Woah.....This is so awesome."


Hannah nodded.
 
"Great seeing you",Mika said with a smile as she hugged Levi. Tai nodded at him,"Welcome aboard and don't screw up",he said.


"Yeah,super easy",Shin Woo and Min Woo said as they walked past with Kaito.


"Great to see you",Jung Hwa said with a smile,"You will be tested on memorization,improv,etc.",he said,"In the end,we'll send the results to you".
 
Cho looked up and smiled at the three.


"Hey guys." She said. Peter blushed lightly seeing Shin Woo. He cleared his throat.


"So um, all you gotta do is press this buttons and it'll give you want you want. Here watch." He pressed the button that said "Hispanic" then pressed "Puerto Rican" then an entire list of food popped up. He thought for a moment before picking pastelles. He smiled as the food came out on the conveyor belt. He picked it up and showed it to Cho. "They'res my food. Now you try." Cho walked up to it and bit her lip, thinking. She pressed "Asian", then "Korean" then picked bulgogi. She smiled as she saw the food come out on the conveyor belt. She picked it up and smiled "I did it!" Peter chuckled


"Yup."
 
"Please,step onto the stage and speak your lines",Ai Min said to Chin Ho,gesturing him to the stage with her hands.


Shin Woo and Min Woo sat on either side on Sun,while Kaito took his spot next to Min Hee and made sure to wrap his arm around her shoulder. The group began talking,the kids of the future intrigued by the past and the kids from the past intrigued by the future.
 
Chin Ho nodded and stepped onto the stage. He cleared his throat before rubbing the back of his neck.


"That's great Viv........I'm really happy for you.." He said, with a slightly sad tone. He chuckled and shook his head. "There's nothing wrong Viv, I'm fine." Chin Ho sighed "Vivian don't give me that look." Chin Ho laughed and rolled his eyes "Viv, I'm happy for you. I'm sure the guy is great. You just make sure you tell me if he hurts you, cuz' he'll have me to deal with after."
 
Jung Hwa smiled,"I liked it", he said before looking at Ai Min and Emma, "What about you two?". Ai Min looked at Chin Ho,"A good performance, not great or perfect, but very good", she told him,"Add more emotion, make it look like you're actually heartbroken that the girl that you loved is really leaving you for good". Emma nodded in agreement,"I personally think that you have a lot of things on your mind, which is why you're not as dedicated to this performance as how we wanted you to be". Jung Hwa smiled,"But,your acting is very good. You might make the secondary male lead", he said. Ai Min nodded,"Our leading male is Xiao Sa,our leading lady is Lu Chu,our secondary lady is Goo Hye Sun",she said,"All we need is the secondary male lead and a couple of other characters. This drama will be showed in Asian countries before an English version is produced for America", she explained.


Fang Hua was practicing her new gymnastic routine for the tumbling portion of the Olympics, her body gracefully and fluidly flipping and cartwheeling across the large blue mat. Her hair was tied into a high ponytail and she was wearing a white tank top and black tights, showing the well crafted curves of her body as she continued her routine. It was already time for practice to end, but she had decided to stay behind and continue to practice for the upcoming Olympics. She had finished her routine for the twentieth time when she heard someone applauding behind her, causing her to turn around with a surprised look on her face.
 
Chin Ho smiled and nodded


"The only thing I can speak besides English is Korean."


Kenji smiled at Fang Hua.


"That was great Cha-Chan."
 
Ai Min smiled, " That's perfect ", she said as she clapped her hands, " You can play the Korean role for the secondary male lead ". Emma nodded, " The acting has also set the standards for when I watch the auditions for the English version ", she said. Jung Hwa nodded, " You have the part for the secondary lead, congratulations ", he said with a smile, " Here are your lines and you can go practice your lines with Goo Hye Sun, Lu Chu, and Xiao Sa, they have a bit more information about the whole plot and the scenes ", he explained.


Xiao Sa was sitting down on the ground with Lu Chu next to him, they were reading over their lines again and again until they were able to memorize them. Lilly watched them from the wall and gave a fake gag, " It's so gross how he's all over her ", she said with a eye roll, " It's like he's never seen a girl before ", she stated.


Ae Cha smiled at him, " Thanks, Kenji ", she said as she placed her hands onto her hips, " What brings you here? ", she asked. She glanced around, " Did Jinki-Oppa ask you to pick me up? Is he okay? Is he sick? ", she asked as her voice suddenly turned panicked and she hurried over to Kenji, " Is Jinki-Oppa all right? ", she quickly grasped onto his shirt, her face practically inches away from his as she stared at him with a scared and panicked look on her face.
 
Chin Ho smiled and bowed politely.


"Thank you." He said before walking out to find Lu Chu and Xiao Sa.


Hana shrugged.


"What if he was all over you?"


Kenji smiled


"Jinki's fine, he's still at work so i thought i would come and pick you up."
 
Xiao Sa gently brushed a strand of Lu Chu's hair behind her ear as he read through his script, following the actions that his character would play, but it was obvious that a slight red blush was adorning his cheeks.


Lilly laughed, " I have my Timothy, I'm content ", she sigh happily before smirking at Hana, " What about you? ", she asked, " Thinking about him all over you or that Sohma boy we met yesterday? ".


Ae Cha released Kenji's shirt and sighed with relief, " Thank goodness ", she breathed out and then smiled at him, " All right, let me go get my gym bag and we can go ", she said as she walked over to her personal bench.
 
Chin Ho smiled as he walked up to Xiao Sa and Lu Chu.


"Guess who got the part?"


Hana blushed and shush Lilly.


"Dont talk so loud."


Kenji chuckled


"Alright."
 
" Congrats ", Xiao Sa said with a smile, " You must have done great since the last fifty people who auditioned for the part didn't get it ".


Lilly smirked and shrugged, " Whatever ", she then looked at the group that was dancing, " I'm going to learn those dance steps, see ya soon, love sick girly~ ", she teased as she skipped over to the group.


Ae Cha grabbed her stuff and walked over to Kenji, " Where to? ", she asked with a smile, hooking arms with him in the process until she seemed to remember something and quickly unhooked arms, " Sorry about that ", she giggled.


Shen was having a glare off with Kaito the whole time and if he wasn't glaring at Kaito, he was glaring at Tael Zhe who was flirting with Sun. Shin Woo and Min Woo, sensing the tense atmosphere, had begun to converse with Cho, finding her adorable. " Aigoo, she's too cute~ ", Min Woo sang as he pinched Cho's cheek. " Yah, careful Min Woo ", Shin Woo said with a grin, " Min Hee may get jealous that we're showing Cho so much attention ". With a quick chuckle, Min Woo replied, " Why would she? ", he asked, " She has Kaito and Shen fighting for her ". Shin Woo shrugged, " Keep in mind that Kaito and her are a couple and Shen won't be here for long ", he said. Min Woo pouted as he slung his arm around Cho, " Looks like our time with you is short ", he told her. Shin Woo nodded, wrapping his arms around her and Min Woo, " Aigoo... our new friend will leave us soon ", he said. Min Hee giggled at the three, " Min Woo, Shin Woo ", she called the twins attention, " Don't tease Cho ", she told them, " It's impolite ". The twins pouted but obeyed Min Hee, being wrapped around her finger, they grew up with her, so they always listened to whatever she said.
 
Chin Ho smiled and rubbed the back of his neck.


"Thanks...."


Kenji raised an eyebrow


"Why are you sorry?"


Cho blushed and covered her face


"Guys~" Elliot and Peter sat quietly and ate their food, very uncomfortable with Min Woo and Shin Woo all over Cho.
