Fandom Interest in Percy Jackson RP?

Super High School Level Idiot
Hey!

I recently got invested in the Percy Jackson series again (I don't know why, it's been ages since I first read the series), and wanted to rp with it! Rick Riordan has a wonderful ability to include both lighthearted and serious themes in his books, something I would like this rp (if anybody's interested) to include.

Basically, it takes place a little bit after Blood of Olympus. Your character will be the child of a minor god (I might allow some of the Twelve idk tho) who was discovered/came to Camp Half-Blood after the events of the book. They've heard stories about the Seven, the two wars, and basically all the stuff that happened in the books.

Naturally, these characters want to become legends as well. So, maybe an opportunity for a quest shows up, or they go out looking for trouble. Anyways, they end up running away from camp, and along the way have an awesome adventure while trying to save the day.

So, yeah. Tell me if you're interested, all things are open to change.

Thanks!

I would be interested in this too! I would love a child of Ares, but if looking for more minor gods, I will research one I'd like to play with. (Also I just started to read his newer series with the Egyptian gods, so awesome.)

I love the Kane Chronicles- pity he didn't make more.

And yeah, I'm looking more for children of Minor gods, but if you really want to do a child of Ares that would be fine.

Yosh! I just need to name my character, then. I designed him a bit ago, got stuck on the name and gave up, but now he's finally going to be named.

Could my dude be the son of Erebus? The God of darkness?
hmm...Erebus is the primordial God of darkness, meaning he came before the current ones. As such, it wouldn't really fit in with the current canon. I'm pretty sure there are other, current Gods who represent darkness, so if you could find them I'd be cool with that.

Could my character be the son of Nemesis?

Yeah, that would be fine. I think we have another character that's a child of Nemesis in the rp, but that doesn't matter!

I'd be interested, son of the God of Death - Thanatos! :3
Alright, that would be fine. Just keep in mind that seeing as Thanatos is kind of touchy (in that I mean his similarity to Hades) I'll be kind of harsh on your character. Sorry, but I just have some experiance with Mary-Sues and Gary-Stu's being sons/daughters of Thanatos.

I still look forward to seeing your OC, though, and I'm sure he'll be fine. Link to the RP can be found earlier in the thread.

He won't be super over powered, I dislike the idea of OP characters, He will have some sorts of powers pertaining of decay and perhaps death itself, but nothing over the top.

And if you see anything you don't like about the character you can tell me and I'll edit and/or delete it. To make everything fair :)

I like the idea of powers pertaining to decay! I'm glad that you understand where I'm coming from.
