Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this site (been here under an hour =P), and I'm looking to start a RP. Totally open to suggestions and constructive criticism 
I'm looking for this to be a group roleplay with multiple characters and a complex plot. This will be open to all ages, as long as you're able to write a decent amount and won't be disturbed by content; in joining, you're accepting a risk. There are no real restrictions (other than necessities of the site), just be respectful to others and have fun
I'll open the RP as soon as there's enough people/interest.

Calista - Casmir Landrikson
A 17 year old orphan trying to provide for her 12 year old sister (Marigold). Debating whether or not she wants to risk becoming a Competitor.
Marigold - Casmir Landrikson
Calista's kind, selfless younger sister, always concerned for other people's well-being.
Andrea - SparklyMittens
Is trying to protect the citizens of Winterdale while simultaneously staying alive. Has a dream of escaping and building a safe haven for everyone.
Tobias - Elendril
A father character - no bio.
Jareth - RavenPaw
A 16 year old orphan boy living in Winterdale since 3 years ago.
Sera Marks - FireMaiden
An 18 year old girl, infamous because of her bad temper, violent nature, and the fact she's most likely murdered a few people, but nobody can really prove it.
PLOT:
In the year 2033, a nuclear bomb went off for the first time in decades, igniting a war far beyond what anyone could have imagined. Those remaining--carelessly nicknamed "The Aftermath" by those in control--are forced into a position where only the toughest survive. Radiation poisoning and fallout are constant threats, along with more human dangers, and nuclear explosions still rock the world elsewhere. As a result of the constant peril, even the most innocent souls can find themselves falling down a darker path. With a future obliterated in front of their eyes and the odds against them ever increasing, what will become of humanity?
The main events will be set in a camp, Winterdale, that hasn't yet been targeted but is near enough to major cities to experience the results of the explosions (fallout, radiation, food and water poisoning). The government refers to it as a safe haven for refugees, while in reality it is a living hell. Necessary supplies are scarce, and many people have resorted to murder, thievery, and even cannibalism to insure their own survival for another day. Desperation is weighing heavily on the Aftermath, until the Trials. No one is certain as to how they originated, only that those in control, those dropping the bombs, created them, perhaps as a disgusting method of clearing their conscience. Every year, a new wave of Competitors, 30 people, ages 15 through 30, enter a series of obstacles and life-or-death situations, combat, and emotional dilemmas in order to receive the ultimate prize--a free ticket out of Winderdale, for themselves and 3 others. Put your name on a list of applications, and you're eligible for random selection.
Only one winner. Only one prize.

Can I be a character that tries her best to protect the people of Wintermount while still surviving? She would be one of the last people with hope for mankind, and is determined to get out of the camp and build her own safe haven for everyone.
