Max gave a small laugh and nodded softly "Alright alright." She said before she kissed him back and started to fall asleep cuddled up in his arms not moving the whole night.

Pedro looked at his son and smiled some "Yeah your mom wants me to go, you still want to join me?" He asked as he sat down with him

He smiled, kissing her head repeatedly until he finally started drifting off to sleep, sleeping through til he had to get up, kissing Max's head and made himself a quick coffee downstairs before heading out and hitting the road at 5am.

Ana ran into their room the moment she got up wanting to say bye to her Dad at 7:30 but frowned and started crying loudly when she saw he was gone already "Mommy! Daddy left before I say bye!" She sobbed, making her way over to her.

He frowned and shook his head "I wanna stay with Mom... I'm... I wanna make sure she's okay." He told him, fiddling with his hands some and frowning. "I don't think she'd let grandma come stay here." He pointed out. "PLus then I can get some soccer practice in before the camp." He explained.

Max woke up grumbling and gave a small sigh seeing Jeff gone already. She pulled Ana onto the bed nodding some "I know baby I'm so sorry. I wish he could say bye all the time but he had to leave very early." She said softly holding her close.

Pedro smiled proudly at his son and clapped his hand on his shoulder "That sounds like a very good idea bud. I think she will appreciate it." He murmured

He just nodded and stood up going to take Edgar for a walk, frowning some.

two weeks later carmen was calling Pedro while he was on set, shaking and crying in a panic, rushing all over the house.

Ana was bouncing in her seat on the plane, looking over at her mom super excited to get down to Georgia and see her dad again. “Mommy how much longer?!” She whined a little, rubbing at her ears.

Max smiled softly giving a small laugh "About another 20 minutes baby." She said softly. She had gotten confirmation about her pregnancy and she was excited to see Jeff again. She sighed happily and got buckled up once the seat belt sign came on.

Pedro answered his phone while on break frowning when he heard Carmen sobbing "Babe?! Whats wrong calm down just a bit whats wrong?" He asked worriedly

She nodded and leaned into her mom, "Mommy I wanna sit next to Daddy in the taxi okay? You can sit next to him next time okay?" She told her frowning a little, trying not to yawn. They'd had to get up super early in the morning for the flight and she'd been grumpy until Max had let her have a mcdonalds breakfast but now she was bouncing off the walls.

She whimpered, trying to calm enough to talk "He's gone! I can't find him! His bed is made and his shoes and jacket are gone! He's just gone!" She sobbed, shaking some meaning Carlos. He'd run off once before but that had been over school reports. This time she was scared it was all her fault "I made him leave! I hurt him too much!" She sobbed, shaking still.

Max gave a small laugh but nodded some "Oh alright you can sit next to him." She said excited to see her little girl so happy to see her dad. Once they were finally off the plane they made their way to luggage and smiled widely seeing Jeff standing there waiting for them.

Pedro frowned more completely confused as to what she meant "Babe what are you talking about? What did you say?" He asked before he listened to her again trying to get all the information before he started making calls

She whimpered, shaking a little. "He's been leaving pamphlets all over the house for the adoption centers nearby... All week. He stopped me from going upstairs last night and put one in my hand and I snapped.... I couldn't help it... I know he means well I do but I can't think about that while I'm still hurting from everything." She whimpered "So... So I called him a few choice names and told him I wanted him out of my sight.... I... I don't know what came over me but I woke up this morning and he's just gone!" She whimpered, shaking badly, "This is all my fault Pedge."

Jeff smiled once he saw them come out to arrivals and waved, watching Ana drop her suitcase and run straight at him "Hey pumpkin, hey go get your bag, your mom doesn't need to do all the work." He told her, sending her back then picked her up once she brought it to him, wheeling it for her over to where Max was, kissing her quickly, "You survive your first flight alone?" He chuckled, walking towards the exit with them and the taxi rank.

Pedro gave a heavy sigh and shook his head some "No Mi Amor its not your fault I promise okay? Just take deep breaths let me call a few people and look for him and I'll be there by tonight." He explained before he hung up and called around then called Ernie to get him home

Max smiled happily at her husband and kissed him back "It was restless....missy m'am has been grumpy and hyper the whole way." She explained before lifting her suitcase laughing lightly as Jeff shooed her away "Jeff I'm only a little over a month along, I can pick up my suitcase."

"I don't care, you've had to deal with a spoilt princess for several hours on her first plane ride, I got your bag." He smiled and pecked her lips, getting it in the back of the taxi before sitting by the window, smiling as Ana leaned into him and started falling asleep "Guess someone was more tired than she thought... How's momma feeling?" He asked, passing her a bottle of water.

She just agreed, calling the police then and telling them her son was missing, having to go through the whole process of explaining he'd run away a couple times before and that she would have to wait a full 48 hours this time before she could report it.

Max gave a small laugh and sighed happily before she kissed him gently and took the water bottle from him "I'm good, had to get my maternity pants out...I got a little bump." She said happily pulling but her baggy shirt to show off her small bump "Our little one is already getting big."

Pedro sighed heavily as he called Ernie taking a deep breath "I need to go home, my son is missing and I can't leave my wife alone through it." He said frantically

Ernie frowned some and sighed heavily. "You're gonna become unhireable." He muttered "I'm not making you stay in England but you can tell Matthew yourself, I'm not gonna be your scapegoat." He told him seriously, "I'll get your flight booked alright? Soon as possible." He promised and hung up, making a few calls to get him a flight before letting him know he'd booked one for the next morning.

He smiled watching her "Oh yeah? That's good." He murmured, kissing her cheek, "I went and looked at a few apartments yesterday for us, I've got us scheduled to go take a quick look for you and Ana to choose tomorrow, if those don't work, we keep looking." He told her, giving her hand a squeeze.

Max gave a small nod and smiled softly "I'm sure the ones you found will be great for us." She murmured giving his hand a squeeze "You excited for people to see you on the show? You still haven't told me the role you got ." She said softly

Pedro grumbled some before he gave a heavy sigh "I'll deal with that later." He muttered before he hung up and called Matthew to explain the situation. He knew it was a risk but he knew he need to be there for his family

He smiled some, watching her "Nope. Not going to til I get the script tomorrow." He smiled, waking up Ana once they got to the hotel "Come on kiddo, let's get you down for a nap while we let Mommy get freshened up." He told her, kissing her head and carrying her inside once they got the bags on a luggage cart, tipping the bellhop for bringing them up to his room. "I got grumpy one, you take a shower or whatever you like." He murmured to her.

He listened carefully to him and sighed a little "Look... you got three days left of filming Pedro... I could really do with you finishing this before you go home. I understand the situation, really I do but we've already had to postpone a lot of filming for your sake... I can't keep doing that." He told him seriously. "If you stay the extra couple days, I can get you off half the press tour as well." he promised.

Max rolled her eyes but smiled before she kissed him gently when they got to the suite he had for them "Join me if you want to." She murmured before going into the restroom to get cleaned up

Pedro gave a heavy sigh and nodded some "Alright...." he mumbled before he hung up calling Carmen back to let her know what was happening

She frowned as she listened to him, shaking her head as he apologised "Don't... It's okay, my parents are here, there's not much we can do right now. I've called him but he left his phone here." She told him frowning some, swallowing back tears. "I just want our son home safe." She mumbled, "I'll call you if there's anything." She murmured.

Jeff smiled some and winked at her "You gonna be good if I get cartoons on for you?" He asked Ana seeing how grumpy and tired she was, rolling his eyes when she just nodded and yawned, getting her set up before joining Max in the bathroom.

Max wrapped her arms around him as he got in the shower with her and smiled wide "I'm so happy to be here with you, I've missed you." She murmured before she kissed him gently

Pedro gave a heavy sigh and nodded some "I know Mí Amor, we'll find him I promise." He said softly before he gave another heavy sigh "You call me if you need anything at all okay?"

She agreed and hung up, going to see if the cops still wouldn't do anything, or to see if he at least left a note somewhere at all, getting more and more worried as the day went on.

Jeff smiled kissing her head "I've missed you both too... You wanna get room service or go out for dinner?" He asked her quietly and held her to him protectively, resting one hand on her bump.

Max smiled softly as she leaned into him some "Mmmm room service because once we're done here I'm getting into my comfy clothes and not leaving." She said laughing softly before she ran her fingers along his growing beard "Mmmm I am loving his beard."

Her mother gave a heavy sigh as she looked around for any sign of her grandson shaking her head a bit whem she heard Carmen mutterinf how it was her fault "Míja its not your fault, he is a stubborn teenage boy. He'll come back, we will find him." He said softly

"Mmm... Good. Cause they've me to keep it." He murmured, placing soft kisses all down her neck and shoulder, enjoying the quiet with her for a little longer until they heard Ana starting to whine outside "Well.... That was short lived." He mumbled, kissing her head and washing up quickly then before making his way out and getting dressed, "Alright pumpkin, come here, what do you want for dinner?" He asked her, grabbing her a room service kids menu to look through.

She frowned shaking her head "You didn't see the look on his face." She mumbled "I'm worried he doesn't ever wanna come home." She mumbled, having to go sit down when she was getting dizzy

Max smiled happily and soon got out and dressed joining them out in the room "What are you gonna get pumpkin?" She asked smiling more at Jeff as he looked over the adult menu

Her mom gave a heavy sigh sitting next to her "He will come home, you upset him...but he will come home honey." She said quietly before she made her dad get her some water

"Mommy can I have chicken strips?" She asked her while Jeff was squinting at the menu, struggling to read it some.

Carmen frowned but nodded and just sat quietly not about to start an argument right now but she wasn't so convinced.

Max nodded some before she handed Jeff his glasses from the night stand "Yes baby girl you can." She murmured kissing the top of her head gently.

She gave a small sigh and ended up making dinner for everyone. She wasn't about to leave her daughter alone in that house right now.

The next couple days were quiet for them and Jeff was a lot less stressed than when they'd first arrived especially now that they'd chosen an apartment. He was sat on the bed in the hotel waiting for Max to be ready with Ana though so they could go out for the day. "Oh, script arrived." He called over to her as she came out the bathroom with a grumpy Ana having been forced to take a shower.

Carmen had spent the whole time stressed and pacing, finally with 48 hours having passed the police could get involved but as they were getting into the car to head down there to file a report she heard her name being called and looked up seeinga very scruffy Carlos walking up the drive and she dropped her bag, running over to him and hugging him tightly "Oh! Oh mijo don't you ever do that to me again, I've been worried sick!" She told him quickly, shaking some as she looked him over "Are you okay? Here, let's get you inside."

Max came out from the bathroom and smiled wide at him "Oh yeah? Does it seem good?!" She asked excitedly. These past few days had been great for her and she was so excited for where this new chapter would lead them in life.

Carlos groaned some as he made his way down the sidewalk seeing his mom go towards her car "Mom! Momma!" He called as loud as he could moving more towards her gruntinf softly as she hugged him tightly "I'm sorry Momma...
I'm okay." He murmured to her in spanish quietly
