Fantasy Insane Asylum

Raven

Raven
Not a lot of people in reality are normal. Nobody is "Perfect" Superhero's do not exists, immortal life is just a fairy tail, and love is a weakness, a curse. Not a lot of people survive our world. Locked in confinement, stuck in a revere. The panels are the pigment of my flawless skin, the floor frigid to each touch sending a sensation through your cartilage. This is our life.

People treat us like were not humans, like we are criminals. When we are just normal beings, with different potential no one would be able to understand. We solve equations no one would be able to solve, we can ease into people's business without nosing in, we can kill without touching the person.

Our emotions test our behavior to the very end, people are scared of us, they show no reverence or concern we are taught as lab rodents to the F.B.I. We are watched each day, by prison guards I call them or my nickname "lil shitters" who are able to ease into our cells and cause hell for us.

-WARNING: This role play will have explicit detail, but keep it PG13 and fade to black when necessary. This is also based on a book of mine. Prison Guards: F.B.I Agents: and last The Insane ones: Which are the ones with powers.

Not a lot of people accept us for who we are. After all were different then those around us, we are lab rats studied to find out why we are what we are. Names Raven I've been the superior of the "Insane ones", but I call us "Survivors" We've survived through the things we've been through. Even if we are locked away we have one thing they cannot take our courage to survive. All these thoughts drifted into my mind as I laid propped along the metal board glancing towards the ceiling. My orbs dimmed in the illumination hearing the bars clinking softly from the movements of her companions. Her fingers brushed through her hair easing the tangles free from her matted silk strands.

He rested his head, leaning it forward and stretching his neck. Donovan waited patiently, for the right moment. He had waited and he would keep waiting if he had to. He thought slowly and carefully about it. His plan, the others, the guards, everything. Donovan was far from insane, but that no longer mattered. No one really cared whether or not his kind was crazy or not. Donovan knew that the only thing that mattered was timing. Time was the only ally they had, time took all sides, but only showing favor to those who knew how to take advantage of it perfectly. Donovan knew he was the only one who could respect and appreciate that fact. Donovan knew he had to do something that seemed to drive most crazy..... Wait.

He sat alone in the corner of his cell. Marcus hated all of them. Everyone who treated him like a lab rat. The guards came in and beat him, yelled at him and some have pushed him beyond even his level of pain. He felt alone and sad. He only felt at ease around Raven. They noticed this and allow her to calm him during his fits, but that did nothing for his anger. He held it in, trying to be good and gentle, but they had almost ruined that and turned him into the monster they tell him he is. Marcus jumps at the foot steps coming down the hall. He knew all to well who it was.

Lucian was making his daily rounds. He loved working here. He needed a way to enjoy himself. Nothing gave him more pleasure than torturing these freak excuses for humans. He loved how much they yell in pain when they are hit and how much they beg for him to stop, like some little lost puppy. It brought a smile to his face at the thought. He looks to the new guy who seemed excited. You could tell he knew what they were and what they could do "Come on new guy. I got the perfect pass time for us." With that they walked up to Marcus' cell and hit the door, causing him to jump. The new gut walked in "Hello little freak!" with that he began to beat Marcus with his metal rod that the guards call 'riot tamer'. Lucian sat and laughed at the screams and cries of Marcus.

Marcus cried at the sting of the metal. It felt so cold and hurtful. It bruised him on contact. He sat there for over a minute. Then something in his mind snapped. He screamed and stared at the new guard. The guards body tensed and he fell to the ground. He couldn't move or speak. You could see the blood vessels in his neck bursting. At the same time Marcus held his stomach. The pain he receives is a fraction of what his victims get, but it hurt all the same.

Lucian knew not to get close to him or he would feel the powers as well. He wasn't that stupid, but he did know who could stop him. He ran down about ten cells and began to open Ravens cell door "Get out and go down to the cell with the other freak. He's having another one of his moments." With that he opened the cell door and let her out

@Raven

She noticed the approaching of the guard, hatred swelled in her aqua gaze she elevated up "You shouldn't of even been around him." Her voice receded softly as she stepped out. Her eyes scanned the different cells around her, she bumped into the guard as she made her way to Marcus. She knelt down beside him awaiting for the guard to open the cell "Marcus, do not move down to their level. Calm down." Her voice cooed to subdue his anger.

Donovan heard Marcus' cries. His eyes snapped open and he rushed to the door. He held his head against it and reached out to enter Raven's mind. "I need Lucian to come to me. Find a way for him to come to my cell. I need to talk to him. But do not let him think we are planning anything. Be subtle my friend." Donovan moved back and sat down in the middle of his room once again. He took the same position and waited. Donovan could hear them all in his silence. Donovan smiled softly, knowing Marcus would soon calm.

Marcus' eyes were filled with anger and hatred. He wouldn't stop. He growled at the pain surging through his body. It felt like one hundred hammers on his stomach. The new guard was sitting there, his face red and all his veins pressed to his skin. Marcus stared at him with hatred and anger, like he planned to kill him. He didn't budge, not even when Lucian opened the cell door. He was determined to kill this man.

She immediately stepped inside, hearing the sudden voice distract her from her reality, she closed her eyes for a split second to respond "Gotcha" Her eyes soon opened, she tilted her gaze towards the guard "Lucian. Can you give me a few. Go talk to Donovan." She begin to hum the lullaby from her parted lips taking a few steps to him "Do not turn into them Marcus. Your just proofing to them that we are just monsters.

Lucian sighed and shut the cell door. He walked off, leaving them be.

Marcus sat there. He was so angry. How could they do this? They felt pain the same way they do. It hurts to be hit and yelled at. To be used as a testing lab rat. His head hurt and his insides felt like they were being ripped apart, but his gaze sat firmly on the guard. He wasn't going to stop looking at him. Not till his death. The only one who could stop him was in the room, but he didn't want to stop

She took small steps towards him and her fingers wrapped around his chest into a tight embrace. She begin to hum that song once more which usually subdued him "Marcus.. look at me." Her fingers tightened along his chest, she continued to soothe him with her lullaby.

Marcus slowly calmed and closed his eyes. The guard by then had been through so much he couldn't move. Lucian stands next to him as Marcus places his head on Ravens shoulder and cries "I'm....so....sorry." he was one of the youngest, but he was definitely the most fragile. He held her and sobbed. It wasn't the physical pain that got to him, but the feeling off being so evil "I didn't mean to....he....just...." he sat there and held her, never wanting her to go

Her eyes dimmed, as her fingers wrapped around his shaking form "Shh.. it will be okay." Her fingers brushed through his hazel hair to soothe him, her eyes narrowed at the guard who laid still on the ground, she twitched her eye-brows towards him gathering small details. He was younger then Lucian. A ring came into her view, definitely married.

Donovan's eyes snapped open. "Now...." He spoke softly. Donovan entered Lucian's mind with such force and speed that the guard had little time to react. He focused deeply on consuming his mind completely so that Donovan could do what he had to. Donovan's powers seeming sharper than usual and a lot more honed. It seemed almost as if he had been training the entire time he was in The Asylum.

Marcus sat there and held her. Everyone thought about it, but no one ever asked. They all thought he was in love with Raven. He just sat there, sobbing into her shoulder as if nothing else mattered. Then his grip loosened and he went limp. He had used his powers to much, his body couldn't handle it.

Lucian scoffed as he watched them "Are the freaky love birds do--" before he could finish he couldn't move at all. He just stood there, like his whole mind had been erased and he was just an empty shell

Donovan made Lucian see himself in his cell. Donovan stood and smiled at Lucian. "Hello Lucy. How are you?" Donovan was keeping the guard in a trance so that the only way for Lucian to leave was if Donovan sent him back., or if another telepath interfered. "How have you been?" Donovan was smiling softly at Lucian.

Lucian 's body opened the cell door and let Donovan out. He then closed the door and locked himself in, giving Donovan the keys. He laid on the bed, like it was his home

Marcus lay unconscious. In his sleep he muttered one thing "Evil."

She caught his limp form. She laid her head on his shoulder wrapping her body around his own to apply warmth. She hummed the lullaby through her parted mouth her fingers brushed through his hair as she settled down.

Marcus lay there. He knew he was asleep, but he felt....warm. He thought for a second that the pain had finally killed him, but soon realized that he couldn't get so lucky

Donovan chuckled "Good man" He broke the trance slowly so Lucian's mind would not become damaged. Donovan walked over to Raven's cell calmly. He turned and looked at Raven holding Marcus. Donovan spoke softly "That boy loves you very much. I think it's sweet how he trusts you. What are your thoughts though?" He was quiet and gentle in his speech. Donovan knelt down beside the two, watching them both.

"Let him sleep." Her eyes dimmed at the approach of Donovan. Her fingers continued to brush through his silk strands "Your a trouble maker Donovan you know that right." She grinned towards him softly keeping her voice low enough.

Donovan gave Raven a tender kiss on her head "Every family needs one." He stood and stepped out of the cell, closing it so Marcus and Raven could have their time together. Donovan sat down in front of the locked door and guarded it. His breathing was steady and slow as if he were sleeping. His eyes were closed and his head facing down like usual. Donovan had grown used to resting like this, but only when he had to be on watch while maintaining his strength.

Marcus stirs a little. His arms wrapping around Raven. In his sleep a soft smile spread across his face, showing that for the first time in years, he truly felt happy

She sunk down on the floor next to Marcus noticing the smile along his visage, her eyes narrowed towards Donovan her eyes shut, her thoughts becoming clear "What now Donovan. Once they figure out what has done this. People will be beaten. Lucian will be pissed as hell." Her thoughts occurred on her other companions she doesn't want to see it no longer. Cause if she does she is sure to go mad.

Marcus stirs then his eyes open. He sees how close Raven is and blushes. He sits up and backs away. His head turns and looks down "I-I'm sorry."

Lucian lay there he had drifted into sleep and was completely unaware of what was going on

Donovan spoke to Raven with his mind. "I have kept you all safe before, I can do it once more." Donovan didn't expect Raven to know what he meant. He had kept a dark secret from their entire family about the beatings that have taken place during their time here. Donovan continued to meditate silently, doing what he did best. Which, of course, was wait.

(I have to head to bed. I don't wanna tell you all to stop the RP for me. But I don't see much happening that would make sense if you continued on without me. But if you can make it happen, go right on ahead. Night everyone)
