Fantasy Insane Asylum for Creatures of All Kinds

The beings she was suppose to fend of was the pitch black darkness (weird right? xD ) They were everywhere, immune to her night vision as they attack. Some turned into her worst fears, bringing them to life as an illusion to mess up her mind

Ippy opened her eyes wide in fear, she saw her father. However, in her competetive mind, she let her anger take over her fear. Her legs changed to that with the form of a cheetah, but the markings were odd... Ippy crouched down and prepared to pounce, she bounded up onto a wall and then leaped off the wall into the middle of the room. I just have to survive right? I guess I may as well wait it out. She thought to herself. Reaching the middle of the room, Ippy froze mid-air as her whole body became transparent, her tail turning metal with a large spiked ball on the end. Her eyes were filled with more rage than fear. "BORMAH, HI QAARIV WAH LIIVOR KO FAAL KAASK ZU'U OFAN HI" She shouted that about eight times before stopping, her breath heavy with the shouting. As she finally stopped, Ippy's mind was too crowded to think, she hung in the air, seemingly limp. Her head had tilted to one side and her arms and tail were hanging down, you would barely notice her breathing as it had slowed down dramatically. She was ready to kill.

The tall young Lachlan walked past the cells smiling at the creatures that seemed to hate him. He was here to help, he didn't want to get off on the wrong foot. He had seen what they were capable of and was willing even then. He was going to the testing chamber, no doubt to see the equipment stayed in good order. He opened the door and saw things that didn't resemble treadmills at all. There were dangerous and spiked machines lined up along the walls. His eyes began to turn a shade of deep red. He was worried what they were used for. He continued along to something called the survival chamber. Lachlan thought that whatever it was, it wasn't a good place. He opened the door and saw the two people inside. Silently, he pushed past them and looked through the observation window. Inside he saw hideous and grotesque creatures converging on a small girl in various stages of transformation. Some kind of cat-human. He turned to the staff member in a white jacket and read Lona off of her tag. He looked into her eyes, his own burning a bright red,

"She is just a kitten" He snapped, "What the hell are you doing to her!"

Ippy flinched as she heard another voice from outside the chamber, looking out through the wall, she saw Lachlan complaining to Lona. She floated through the wall, poking her head through. "W-who are y-you?" She asked, her voice still filled with malice from her anger. However, in her current form it had a spectral tone to it, echoing slightly as it made it's way past her lips.

(Btw, Ippy is 4'6)

(Sorry, I have school... Will be back in about 6-8 hours... WAIT NO, I have a club so it will be 7-9 hours)

Lachlan's eyes shifted to a deep purple as he turned to the tiny girl, he was concerned. He looked into her big round eyes and knelt down.

He then asked her a flurry of questions

"Are you hurt? What have they done? Can I do anything to help?"

Lachlan's concern was shining through his eyes furiously as he tried to pamper the kitten. It was at the back of his mind that the place was not what his mother had said it was.

Ippy gave a slight smile and said, "I'm fine, I just got here..." She looked up at the air vents, something caught her eye. She let a large grin cross her face as she went back to physical form, just outside the chamber with the two officials.

Lachlan's watched the kittens form shift to a small girl, his eyes turned to a bright blue as he realized the girl was okay. She was smiling brightly now.

"I won't let them hurt you." Lachlan cooed, idly petting the girl between the ears.

"What is your name, kitten?" Lachlan inquired, trying to seem nice and inviting.

The girls ears pricked toward the door. Lachlan had heard it too, wind whistled furiously through tiny gaps in the large door. Lachlan moved toward it and turned the handle. The wind threw it open, narrowly missing his arm. Lachlan fought his way through the wind. He could hear faint crying ahead. He pushed on into the wind. He saw the girl crying, seemingly oblivious to the chaos around her. Lachlan shouted into the wind so she could hear him "Hey, whats going on?" He held onto the bars for support and sat down, trying to minimize the effect the wind had on him.

"Hey!" He shouted again.

Ippy followed up behind the strange man. She went transparent again and floated through the bars, landing next to the girl with a comforting smile. "Are you okay?" She asked, with an almost motherly tone, as if she had watched over someone for a long time before.

Ippy sighed, "Is it really that bad?" Then she paused for a moment... "Actually... I guess i'm lucky with my little trick to avoid containment..." Not sure how to keep calming her down, Ippy hugged her. The same hug a mother would have given, except it's clear Ippy was never a mother.

Lachlan, annoyed that he couldn't get into the cell, released his grip on the bars and sat down cross legged. He knew she was upset, but it wasn't safe for her outside of the asylum, not that he was sure she was safe here. "We can't let you go yet, you might get hurt or hurt someone else." said Lachlan, full of regret. "I'm sorry sweetie, but we will try to help you get out but your safety is the most important thing." He looked at the ground, ashamed and upset that he couldn't comfort the girl, or give her what she wanted.

After a moment, Ippy fell asleep, still hugging the girl. Her thumb resting on her lips, ears twitching slightly and her tail hung limp, shuddering every few moments.

Lachlan smiled at the kitten, she had fallen asleep on the girl, he wondered how two adorable girls ended up in a place like this. He got up and wandered to his office, deep in thought. He was having second guesses.

Ippy woke up shortly after, looking at the girl she slept against, blushing deeply. "S-sorry..." She muttered, trying not to upset her.

@subject 635

"Do uhh... Do you want me to go? I'm kinda in your personal space... I don't mind staying if you feel lonely though." Ippy decided it there and then. She will do all in her power to make sure this girl is content.

"You want me to stay then? Maybe you would prefer it if I am like... This!" And with that, Ippy changed to the form of a small white fluffy kitten, purring against her.
