Fantasy Insane Asylum for Creatures of All Kinds

Bael took a breath, nodding. "Great." He didn't seem to agree though, looking visibly dejected. "Yeah. We go north. It's a lighthouse." He hesitated, then mumbled, almost sounding embarrassed, "...I'm not ready for guests though."

"I'm sure it's not as bad as you think, better than living on the streets!" Ippy grinned, picking up Lole. "C'mon Lole, lead the way, Bael!" She said, raising Lole onto her shoulders.

He hesitated, then nodded. "Let's go, then. Where are we right now?" He asked. "I need to know where the nearest train is and what direction it's headed."

"Not a clue, I was taken away in my sle-" Ippy started, cut off by Lole. "THE NEAREST TRAIN IS THAT WAY, GOING EAST!" Lole yelled, out, pointing to the north toward the train station.

Ippy rushed forward a bit before matching his pace. "So, what is it like, having a house?" Ippy asked, not sure what else to talk about for small talk.

Adeline wakes up feeling refreshed, but very happy to know that the link was broken. She exists the place and roams around the skies happily, before spotting the three walking. She decided to follow, curious to where they were heading

A small black cat was following Adeline. It's fur was shimmering slightly as it's faintly red eyes glowed.

Bael glanced at the girl beside him. "Work," he responded. "kept me busy all the time. The only time I wasn't working was when I had trespassers to deal with."

He nodded. "I always worked the light because I love it. Simple as that. I don't have to work to survive."

Her eyes suddenly filled with admiration and hope. "Working... For enjoyment?!!?" She was exited to see this place. "Is that what a home is like?"

He shrugged. "I don't know if that's what normal homes are like," he told her. "But I live own a lighthouse. I have duties. You might not like it as much as I do."

"Lole will love it, i'm sure, as for me... I think it sounds pleasant! Much better than a damp alleyway." Ippy grinned, looking up at Lole who was on her shoulders. Lole seemed to be concentrating hard. "Who is following us?" She asked with a frown.

Bael pressed a hand against the side of his head self-conciously, not particularly thrilled with the thought of guests. He had, indeed, failed to clean the lighthouse in any way and it was certainly not fit for company. Would it be better than huddling in the cold? Yes.

Was it an embarrassment to the keeper? Also yes.

"There's the train. It's a cargo train - good. We all just... jump on, then."

Adeline hides her self, so that she may follow them without being spotted unknown that she herself was being followed. She was curious as to hearing they're conversation though, as she listened closely.

Ippy rushed ahead and climbed on with Lole, holding a hand for Bael to get up easier.

The black cat paused for a moment, it's eyes glowed deeper red, to sense anything out of place at all, sensing a very slight disturbance in air currents, he tracked them to follow Adeline better.

Bael 'jumped' on, not using Ippy's help and instead appearing next to her through short-range teleportation. "Great. This track, if I removed right, should curve north and we can switch trains at the next stop. This could take us where we need to go. In the mean time..." He climbed out onto the metal ladder on the side, looking out ahead toward the forest before them. "...Enjoy the views."

Ippy climbed up with him and placed Lole Down. "I have had my fair share of questions, I feel it's only right that you get to ask me some things too... Ask away!" She declared.

Bael glanced at her. "Well, I can't think of much," he told her. "How about this: Where were you born?"

"A mansion in the mountains... Mount Olympus, was it?" She asked Lole, to confirm. Lole nodded. "Olimpoos."

Lachlan laughed at how she had said Olympus, it was adorable. He was excited about the safe haven, his mother would be proud of what had happened here.

Bael sighed, pleased that the attention was off him for now. He leaned out again, snatching some blackberries off a bush that hung over the tracks. He looked back and frowned, feeling as if the opposite of that "forgot something" feeling was occurring. As if they'd brought something extra along.

Lole climbed off Ippy's shoulders and crawled over to Bael. She sat next to him, looking up at him as if expecting something. Her eyes wide with anticipation.
