Indelible (For Caspen)

Fenris

I stepped over the little wall to sit next to him and set one of the puppies in my lap, waving his little paws around and laughing when he tried to nip at my fingers. "Let me know when you find one you like." They were all rather friendly, except for the one sort of hanging back in the corner, looking at us but not approaching. He was black, with a few white spots here and there, and he looked lonely. Poor thing.

Trevor:

After looking at the other puppies for a minute or two, he spotted the little one in the corner. Sitting on the floor near the puppy, he pulled it into his lap and pet it softly, scratching it's ear. It shook a little bit in Trevor's arms, but he held it tightly, "I like this one..."

((gtg soon. Going to clean an old couples house with a couple friends since they can't clean it themselves))

Fenris

I set the puppy I'd been holding aside, shooing them gently and tossing a toy so they would leave us alone, then moved over to kneel next to him. I stroked over the small puppy's head, noting how it shook and felt small, almost thin. Like him. I smiled gently for him. "If that's the one you want. We can pick out a bed for him while we're here, and bowls, and toys." There would be food to get as well, but they could buy all of it here.

Trevor:

Smiling up at him, Trevor held the puppy close, "Yeah, I think I want this one. What do you think we should name him?" He was happy holding the dog, he had never had a pet before and wasn't sure what most people do with them.

Fenris

I shrugged a little as I stood, helping him up with me and holding his arm as he climbed out so he could keep the pup in his grasp. "I don't know. We can think about it for a while, and decide when we find something we like, okay? In the meantime, you can hold him, and we can get the bed and bowls and toys - all those necessary things." Also, potty-training pads, because Fenris didn't feel like cleaning the carpet every two seconds.
