Lara Octavia

It was almost six in the morning when Lara woke up in shock, a feeling of being knocked over hitting her. She had been waiting for this time to come but she didn't really know what to expect.. after all, it was her 20th birthday today. She frowned a little and rolled onto her back, raising her arm to see the digital clock that was imprinted into her arm as it started to slowly tick down the year she already had there. "So that's what it feels like.." She mutters, resting her arm back down onto the bed as she stared at the ceiling. She gets out of bed and strolls over to her long wall mirror, staring into it. Staring at her face. 'This is how I'll look like for the rest of my life..' She thought to herself as she ran her hand through her slightly messy blonde hair.

She didn't know how to feel now that her time has
started.

Shaun woke up in his apartment in his comfortable bed, he looked up at his ceiling and then thought to himself "Ah, how good it feels to have endless time." soon after Shaun's morning alarm started blaring, Shaun looked at he clock and it was about six in the morning, Shaun pushed the button on his clock as the alarm turned off, he moved his blanket aside and then got out from his bed as he slid his hands through his hair, he walked to the kitchen and had a bowl of cereal, after eating he put his bowl away and went over to his desk as he turned on his computer.

Logan Reyar

Blinking slowly, Logan stared up at the creamy white ceiling above her. While the brunette realized she should get up, she didn't, choosing to relax and let Ward snuggle closer to her side, slightly disturbing Fitz from his place atop her stomach. Staring blankly at nothing for a few more moments, Logan turned her head to the side, glancing at the clock beside her bed. The sight of the device made her grimace. She hated clocks. She hated time. Sighing again, she lifted Fitz from his position and sat up, placing the small monkey beside Ward.

Knowing that there were things that, unfortunately, had to be done, Logan headed for her bathroom, planning on taking a shower and getting dressed. Making sure not to glance at her arm, the ninety-seven year old woman who didn't look a day over twenty-five, stepped under the blissfully hot water, dreading her day.

The man in the black business suit grabbed Elizabeth's arm roughly, and pulled back her sleeve. Her timer had not started. "When this starts to tick, come back." He said, pushing her back. This was the third time today somebody has denied her a job. Maybe I should try begging. She grabbed a device from her jacket pocket. A Timekeeper. It held extra time, but at the moment it only had one month in total. She found it on her father's person after he died. But would people even give their time?

With nothing better to do, she just started to walk around the streets.

Ming Li Ho

Ming walked into his job,TimeisFast Inc., sliding his ID card across the door entry passage. Inside the actual office rooms and main lobby, not the car lobby the worker lobby. Welcome Mister Ming Li Ho...Welcome Mister Ming... The workers spoke as he passed them by with a slight wave acknowledging them being here. He hated the word Mister and then his name, not being the formal kind of CEO. "For the last time Arthur, Minho, don't address me with Mister." He said with a fake smile as he walked down to his the group meeting room. Taking his seat as they walked in the room following his lead. As the discussion took place, placing his hand on his cheek as the arguing and debating started once more today.

Jeremy lay in the large king-sized bed in his medium sized flat on the west side of the zone, Cane and tank resting on either side of him as they always did and despite their sizes both we still puppy's trapped in an adults body ((Apart from when they needed to be mean)). As the alarm clock blared Cane was the first to start into a fit of barking with tank following suit waking the sleeping Jeremy. He sat up and turned off the alarm clock, silencing the barking. He kissed both on the head then shooed them off of his bed as he fixed his hair.

After a quick shower he proceeded to get dressed in all black jeans hoodie shirt and sneakers. His dogs followed out into the hallway as he locked the door to his apartment and stepped into the elevator. They descended down to the parking garage cane and tank following close behind as they headed to his car.

There was nothing Joshua hated more than being woken up by the buzz of cell phone vibrating against a wood surface. Only one person ever thought to message the celebrity in the morning and that was his manager -meaning he had to get up to do something. Finally choosing not to ignore his manager, the half-asleep dirty blonde picks up the new trendy phone. He squints at his recent messages; most of it was "Josh we have plans." "Joshua, you gotta wake up." "Don't ignore these texts." "If you don't get your lazy ass out of bed, Reese..."

Joshua continued to scroll though texts, "Karen. Typical Karen," he chuckled as he found the same four messages basically repeating. It wasn't until he saw that Karen had clarified where they were meeting when he started to address his morning a little more seriously. Shrugging off the fact that his manager wanted to meet in less than 20 minutes at a restaurant half an hour away, Joshua went about his morning the usual way: putting extreme effort into choosing an outfit for the day.

By the time Josh had arrived to the restaurant, Karen was fuming. He was only an hour late. What's the fuss about? He held a cup of coffee in one hand and smirk on his face, not really caring how upset his manager was. "Mornin' Karen," Joshua smiled and held his arms out for a hug, "How's my favorite manager?" Of course he wasn't surprised she had rejected his hug; she hated his tardiness and pretty much all his crap. The only response she decided to mutter was, "We're endorsing your album today. Don't even think about whining." Typical Karen, Josh thought.

Conner woke easily on the first beep of his alarm, silencing it before the second could be made, glancing over his shoulder to make sure his partner had not been woken up by the noisy beep. Thankfully, he hadn't. Conner carefully lifted the arm holding him tightly to the other, sliding out of his arms slowly, padding over to where he knew the dresser Dane had managed to buy for their clothing was, room dark with the curtains drawn and lights off.

Conner went for items that felt different from each other in both shape and texture, finally leaving the room gingerly, the door clicking shut as he went to shower.

Shaun checked the reports on his computer, afterwards he went to the shower and had a warm shower, afterwards he put on his clothes, holstered his pistol and then he put his phone in his jacket's pocket and then went out of his apartment and then headed down to his car as he got inside it and then looked around.

Shaun looked at his GPS as he turned o his car and began to drive to the TimeKeepers headquarters, when he got there he drove into the garage and then got out of his car and headed up, as he got to the lobby, he stepped into the elevator and pressed the top floor button. When he got out of the elevator he headed to his office and then sat down at his desk. Shaun looked at a report and then sent message to all timekeepers "Get to the Headquarters".

(@Boondox tagging since I like sent out the thingy)

Laura woke up, her eternal alarm clock telling her it was exactly 6:04. Weird time to wake up, yes but it's what her body was used to and she was always wide awake from that moment on. The strawberry blonde girl sighed as she lifted her arm up, reading the timer on her arm. 5 months, 3 days, 14 hours, 47 minutes, and 9... no 8 now seconds. Laura just wanted to scream and cry at this point, but she kept calm, knowing being frustrated wouldn't help anything.

The girl slipped out of bed, walking over to change. She quickly got a shower and did her hair, throwing it up a simple bun. Her outfit was a simple white blouse and black pencil skirt, spiced up with a salmon colored blazer and tan heels. She rolled the sleeves of her blazer up, turning as she checked herself out in the full length mirror. Upon doing so, she got a glimpse oh her arm again. She froze, slowly looking down on her arm and becoming slightly depressed once again. She hesitantly rolled the sleeves down, not wanting to be reminded of her short time left. Laura grabbed her Zone Pass and her purse, heading out the door.

Laura was on the train now, taking the hour long commute to work. Normally you were only allowed to work in New Eastwood if you lived there or in the three surrounding zones, but luckily enough Laura got special permission, allowing her to be a secretary at a large company. The train slowed to a stop, just outside the gates to New Eastwood. Laura made her way to the guard, her heels clicking as she played with her necklace. Once she reached the gate she held out her pass, waiting to be let in.

"Miss, how do i know this isn't fake?" The larger man spoke, raising an eyebrow. Laura threw him a disbelieving glare. "Really Jackson? You do this everyday. You know by now it's not fake!" She called out, stomping her heels slightly in a childish way. She groaned as the guard went back to his office with her pass, checking to see if it was real. About ten minutes later Jackson came back out, handing her the pass back. " You may go in." He gruffed buzzing her in.

Laura was now at the company, sitting at the large sleek desk, typing records into the computer. She worked for a company that manufactured metals, so Laura always had to keep track of what companies they were doing business with them that moment. As she worked the girl hummed slightly to herself, waiting to probably get treated like crap by someone of richer value.

Eliza walked the streets for a couple of minutes before entering a store. It was pretty much empty, save the cashier. He looked up from his newspaper and grunted a hello. Eliza walked around, viewing the things she would never be able to afford. Televisions, gaming systems, all the tech anyone would like. She looked down at the Timekeeper and felt a pang of sadness. "Buy or get the hell out of my store." The cashier, more like the manager, said, getting up from his seat and staring her direction. Eliza nodded, and got a bottle of soda from a refrigerator at the back of the store. She paid her three minutes from the keeper and started to make her way home.

Conner slid out of the shower, drying off quickly with a towel before returning it to it's originally place under the sink, putting on his clothes quickly before going out the front door, unable to lock it behind him seeing how he didn't own a key to the apartment. Normally, he wouldn't have to be up this early, but today he was tutoring one of the women who lived in the block's children. He hadn't told Dane about this, mostly because he didn't want him to be expecting time from it. It turned out the woman had an old time device she didn't need any longer, and he could have it if he tutored her son. Which explained why Conner was up at this time in the morning to meet her son before he went to school and help him get a grip on literacy before getting the time device and going to his more standard job.

Lara Octavia

After
Lara watched her time for a couple moments, she got up and headed to the bathroom to clean up and take a shower then get dressed. She wore a simple cute outfit and styled her hair since she really had nothing special going on today..

Once she finished with her look and outfits, she glanced at her clock again, not used to the feeling of her life clock being on and ticking slowly. She sighed and headed outside her bedroom and to her kitchen to grab something to eat. She still couldn't believe the fact that she had just turned twenty and her clock was ticking. Was she going to start running into more people? Bad people not that she had a year running down her clock? She sighed and made the thought disappear out of her head before making herself a simple sandwich.

Eliza turned the corner and headed toward the library. She had no idea how the owner could run it without it costing something. But she loved it for that reason. She also loved the books, but something was special about free things. She had it in sight when she saw them. Dressed in all black and masks, they were intimidating. Eliza stopped in her tracks, and dropped the soda she had just paid for. "You have something we need. Let's see that time device of yours, and we won't have to do anything." A bigger man, probably the leader, said. "No." Eliza said, taking a couple steps back. "Get her boys!" The leader said, and the group started to run. And so did Eliza.

He sits back in his seat as his dogs lay side by side in the back on top of their blanket. The engine starts with the turn of a key and he quietly drives out of the garage, once out on the street however he flips a switch that controls the volume of the muffler, setting it to no restrictions as he presses his foot to the floor as hard as he can, leaving a cloud of smoke behind as he drives to his bosses house to get his debt.

He pulls up to the curb along side the large house on the outskirts of the town and honks the horn, his boss Dom black a short pudgy man in his late 120's comes out to greet him and gives him the file for his collection, a wide smile appears on his face as its in zone 1. Leaning into the car he whispers to him "He's been into me for a year...make sure he times out" As Jeremy nods he walks back into his house to his wife and shuts the door as Jeremy heads for the border.

Endorsing albums always went by the same schedule every year. Tour to a few top-name businesses and ask to use their product/service in music videos and photoshoots, appear on an evening talk show, do some heartwarming charity work in Woodale, give away free stuff to fans, and of course the annual secret concert. Half the time, Joshua was bored out of his mind with the work he had to do but things usually got better when he actually gets the chance to meet and talk to his fans -well, the normal ones.

The endorsing started with having someone drive Joshua and Karen across New Eastwood to a few businesses asking for an "endorsement for endorsement" kind-of-deal. And like every year, Karen discussed the plans for the day as Josh hardly listened as he Instagrams his selfies. By now Joshua has perfected the art of listening to his manager's key points while also not having to be annoyed by her lecture on acting mature infront of business owners. Additionally, Joshua always made it his personal goal during every ride to drive Karen off the wall as much as he could before arriving to wherever. As for his manager, she just wanted to get things done. "Joshua Reese, are you listening to me?" Karen snapped.

"Of course I am! We're going to that TimeIsFast car place and talking to the CEO guy," Joshua didn't bother to look up as he took another selfie. Karen huffed, "What's the CEO guy's name then?" This time Josh didn't even bother to answer; well, until the manager shouted his name to get his attention. "Oh. We're meeting Mint Leaf Hope..." Josh made eye contact with Karen, she didn't look pleased. "No, no. It was Ping Lil' Hoe...Is he a rapper?" Pretending to be ridiculously ignorant is probably one of Joshua's best skills...after singing.

"Ming Li Ho," Karen rolled her eyes, "Don't screw this up, Reese. We'll be there soon."

Logan Reyar

"Be good you two," Logan warned as she stood back up from putting on Ward's leash. She knew just how energetic the puppy was, and she didn't have any time to have him running off. Fitz was already on his mini leash, laying in her purse. Stretching out her muscles, Logan quickly grabbed her purse, being careful not to jostle the bag and adjusted Ward's leash in her hand before leaving her home.

Enjoying the nice weather, the brown haired woman headed towards the shelter she ran, a small smile on her face. While she didn't necessarily like life, there were a few things she enjoyed. Like her job. She loved animals, and because she was the owner, she was able to bring her own two pets with her to work. She even allowed others to do so as well. As long as her workers took care of their own pets and still did their work, there was no problem. They could use any supplies at work, but they had to do it themselves. Logan thought it was fair, and she prided herself and being fair to everyone. While she couldn't suddenly up and get rid of all her money, the least she could do was give it out to her workers.

Glad she wore a simple pair of white shorts and a beige spaghetti strap tank top, Logan gently bumped the glass door of the animal shelter open, greeting anyone already inside.

Laura sat at her desk, typing in a few more details. The phone then rang, causing Laura to turn in her chair and press the button on her blue tooth. "Good morning, This is Max's Metals! How may i help you? 3 Shipments of steel? That'll be 6 months worth of time. Thank you!" She spoke like she was excited to be here. Like everyday her life was thrilling and perfect. But it was far from it. At this point she was wondering how the other secretary in this building make it by. She passed it off as them being beautiful and having husbands to support their time. Laura was honestly the ugly duckling of the office. She didn't care though. How could someone care about their looks when their life was on the line?

Laura sighed as she finished all the work she had been given. She'd have to wait at least another hour for her boss to come back and tell her what to do. She looked at her black computer screen. She looked around, making sure no one else was around. With that she started making silly faces in the computer screen. Going cross eyed and puffing out her cheeks. It a sure way to entertain ones self when bored.

Ming Li Ho

Mister Ming our guests will be arriving shortly, please wait for them outside. He was so happy to leave the formal arguing of the other chairmen in the lobby. He didn't even care he said mister, a word he would internally would cringe at the sound of. Trying his hardest not to dance, twirl, skip, or anything to give them ideas.... so he waited until they couldn't see him, before doing all these things, which probably made him look like a freak of nature and a positive weirdo due to his horrible dancing and him leaning over on a soda machine when he twirled, and finally regaining his composure as he waits for them to arrive at his establishment.

Eliza was ahead of the chasers, but a sudden pot hole tripped her, messing up her ankle. She landed hard, and tried to get back up, but the leader was on her, grabbed for her device. She felt someone hit her neck, and she lost energy to fight back. She fell on the ground, and the man removed her sweatshirt. He searched, and after a couple of seconds, found what he was looking for. The device.

She tried to get up, but the knock on the neck did some damage. The leader set the device on his wrist, and handed it off to his comrades. After the last man had used it, the leader threw it on her. She fumbled with it, until she saw how much time was left on it. One minute.
