I'm working on my CS but it's a busy weekend for me. Lol I'm attending several PoGo events. Sorry not Sorry. Anyways, I'll have my CS up here within the next few days. I'm super excited for this!

So, I think I'm just going to go ahead and start it. Any other people, like @CandiBarr or @Lonelytaco, who want to join or are working on their CS will still be able to. It's mostly just going to be conversing and character interaction until we have enough people to really get going. (I mean this is probably enough people technically, but yeah.)

Hey, I just noticed something I don't understand.


So, zombies are a thing now in the story, right? Why are they still casually herding people into quarantine? Don't they have to get through the zombies on the streets? Or are zombies still kind of a rarity right now? And why do we still keep all our weapons even though we're in (what I think is) a quarantine set up by the government?

Erm...I really and honestly don't know. I had planned on this being less of an in-depth storyline and more focused on the drama and action, so I'll try and answer as best as I can.


The Government is -- for the most part -- in disarray. So many of it's members are dead or missing, so those remaining are doing the best they can to contain and cure the disease. Anyone who is able to make it to the "safehouses", the mall in our case, that the government has set up is required to submit blood to be tested and analyzed for anolomalies in hopes of finding something to fight the spread of the contagion. Zombies aren't completely taking over yet, but their numbers are rising quickly and you'll find at least one on any given street.


As for the weapons, the government has decided that in order for the civilians to feel safe and be safe, they are allowed to keep their weapons. In the case that the soldiers cannot keep the undead back, the government wants people to do whatever they can to fight for their lives, and they feel that allowing people to keep their weapons on hand is safer. Something like a bazooka or malatovs they'd probably confiscate, but pistol, shotguns, rifles and such would be fine.

xD I'm so jealous, I wish mine looked as good as yours. ;-; I used to code the crap out of my stuff, but I got a new phone and it was a totally different company/thingy (Windows Phone to an Android), so it's a lot different than what I'm used to.

There'd be lines that one would see immediately after entering the mall, and your character would be pointed to or ushered in that direction, being told that blood tests are mandatory. Once they get to you, they'd take your name and blood, and you'd be on your way!

You are doing fine. In all reality, if this were to happen, it would be unplanned and sporadic so I like it :)
