Multiple Settings In search of a great partner

Hello. I'd love to make this aesthetically pleasing to look at and read and all that but I don't have to patience for that kind of shit. I'll keep it short, though;
I've been roleplaying for so many years but lately a lot of my roleplays have been really crap (which sucks) so I'm looking for a partner to help me create the amazing roleplay that I'm so desperately craving.

I am looking for someone who is initiative and will help keep the story going, someone who is good at writing and can create interesting characters with multible layers who will challenge my own characters. Obviously, I'l do my best to do the same.
I am 22 years of age and I'd like for you to be around the same age. Or just 18+ really.
I prefer the pairing to be MxF. I usually don't have any preferences regarding gender but for some reason I've only really been playing male these past few years and I kind of miss playing female. So I'd love to be able to do that again.
I love love LOVE post-apocalyptic settings. Anything chaotic, really, and I'm down. But you know... I'm open to doing other stuff.
Also, as you may or may not have noticed by now, english isn't my first language and even though I consider myself yo be pretty fluent I am aware that it's not perfect. I don't mind being corrected, though, so if i fuck up too bad, let me know! Otherwise I'll just keep doing it.

Oh, I don't really rolepay fandoms. I can definitely do roleplays inspired by a tv-show or a book or whatever but yeah I prefer original roleplays, hah. .. yeah, I should've mentioned that.

I would love to roleplay with you! I've been trying to find someone who is equally interested in the depths of their characters, and their relationship with my own. It's sometimes hard to find partners that are really willing to work with what you give them. I'm trying to come up with a theme we could both enjoy. I've never done an apocalypse theme before, however I'm definitely into anything dark and dramatic. Is there anything else in specific that you'd be interested in? I might be up for the apocalypse theme even if we can't think of something else.

I have absolutely no doubt that you are! I'm just more comfortable roleplaying with people closer to my own age and I feel like 18 is the limit. I think it has something to with the way i display my characters, idk. But yeah, it is kind of a dealbreaker. Sorry But thank you for replying!
