[In Iron Halls] OOC

If you head after the shoggoth right now you might, might be able to catch it. This may require augmenting the Achmed on the fly, pun unavoidable, and enhancing it. If you head down to start trying to extinguish the fire, you'll need a plan as its well beyond the reach of normal charms. Do any of you have 'Summon Typhoon Rains' sorcery or anything similar?

Regarding the Gens: for anyone who rolls if you make it your character knows what's in the DBs book. You can also assume your character knows usual things like some history, political standing, etc. Feel free to tailor this to your character's abilities. Ie, if you're rocking three dots of bureaucracy you know major investments, etc.

Xarvh: In any real sense, no. Not yet at any rate. Craft, damn you, CRAFT! Add jump jets or essence cannon. Give it sorcery. Graft a dog onto its back who constantly gets distracted from existential ponderings by frantic barking to warn you of itself. Put little essence impeller wheels in it because in Creation, Wheel turns squirrel!

Edit: You could also enhance it via making it a familiar, of course. Spendy the pointies and we can work something out.

Kana will pitch in on the engine efforts.. hmm.. or maybe try to set up a makeshift back-up propulsion system so we can still move while this work is going on.

Ok, so you're going after the fire?

DT: It's getting on towards evening, so you've got time to summon a demon. As I don't have the Demons book, you've got two choices. An Adorjani demon to help push the Achmed around, or an Kimberian demon to help fight the fire. What's it to be?

Xarvh, [int + Craft] and in my favorite brand of 'here, have some rope,' you may pick your own difficulty. The higher the better, of course, unless you fail the roll.

Feantari, you may roll the same. There are enough engine parts to go around, so complete cooperation in that you can also pick a difficulty and roll it. The arms don't provide assistance to this.

Ok, I'll stay conservative and pick a difficulty 10.

Spending 10 motes on Craft 2, to get 5 suxx.

Rolling Int+Craft+Magitech = 13 dice.

Alas, I failed miserably (unless the ST concedes me a stunt for getting the required ingredients)!

Yup.

I thought I could have easily picked 8 suxx without even rolling, but it would have been utterly out of character... ^_^

I'll uh, try to salvage something... going to take me a few hours to get enough work stuff out of the way to get back to it

Ok, I will try to match the attempt by Ganya and maybe salvage her plan..

10m, 1st Craft Ex + 1wp to channel conviction

Int + Craft + Magitech + Jewel of the Masters Hand = 5 + 5+ 2+ 1 + 10 + 3 = 26

fooor 8 suxx

>.< bad dice, no biscuit

..........while I don't particularly fear for my life at this point, I wonder about the lives of my companions. I'm not sure I can find the kind of crazy three-die stunts that would be necessary to somehow help you survive the fall. I'm hoping Miashara is working on a more creative punishment than simply having us fall from the stratosphere...

"And Jed, if you do get plugged, for gosh sakes don't just slump over and die. Put some drama into it and throw yourself screaming from the edge."

-The Far Side

Teamwork.

Can't Kana add teamwork to Ganya's roll?

I think that was the idea anyway.

"Look, Ganya, you forgot the Harmonic Exploding System engaged."

Bah. You're just trying to get out of dying in a cataclysmic ball of fiery doom.

Exhausted should have something tomorrow.

Hey, I take offence at that!

I went straight into it of my own volition! =P

Just posting to make sure the admins don't confuse this for an inactive game, as we're all eagerly awaking Miashara's return to awesomeness ^_^

Hey guys. Sorry for the wait, but I'm going to bow out now. Sorry for the abrupt end to things, and I wish you all the best of luck.
