guess i'll leave too. Rei thought to herself and simply strolled out the front door while all the humans were focused on whichever one of the other signs made such a big mess. Since she'd been ignored and no one bothered explaining to her what was happening, Rei decided to go off on her own. Her mood had already shifted to one of introvertedness. Aquarius ignored people as she walked, trying to figure out where to go now.

"Pisces, leave her alone," Taurus said roughly, softly "She does not deserve any help from us." The female minotaur had come to the male, looking down at Pisces and Libra. The blonde female could say goodbye to her good looks. Taurus crouched to get a better look, seeing the puncture wound on her face. She almost reached to touch it again. She didn't in the end, standing up again as she said"Libra is not our family anymore. Her human friends can help her."


Taurus looked as human guards came in, with guns of some sort. She glared, and raised her hands. Earthen hands reached from the ground, closing around three guards, not hard enough to kill though. Then a wall came up to block the entrances, buying the straggler Signs more time.


"We need to go," she repeated, looking at Alexo, gesturing with her horned head. They were the only ones left inside.


Taurus knew Libra had reasons. Libra said that humans needed a fair fight against the Signs, who constantly thought they were the only ones who should be on top. She snorted, and turned to leave slowly, glancing back in hope the two men would follow. Without helping Libra. Again, Libra did not deserve the help of the other Signs. She was on her own, in the view of her human scientists. If anything, she deserved to be experimented on-


Libra's consciousness boomed out, the Sign awakening so suddenly. So unlikely. Her remaining eye snapped open, skin turning gray again. She grew thrice her size, extra set of arms extending as she hissed in anger. Before she could grab at Alexo with a vicious swipe, Taurus was on her again, in Monster Form. Taurus roughly shoved Pisces back with a muscled hoof, but not hard enough to seriously hurt him.


"How dare you?!" Taurus roared, having the Monster Libra in a headlock "When he doesn't even want to harm you while you're down?" Libra roared, trying to free herself, thrashing and flailing.


"You two head out! Now!" Taurus yelled, tightening her grip. Libra grabbed one of her Scale Cages, and smashed it onto Taurus' head, causing her to stumble a bit. Like two titans wrestling. Taurus had Libra pinned though, trying to buy Pisces and Saggitarius time to get out without any trouble.

There was a reason why Capricorn kept her opinions to herself. A reason she had yet to say aloud. A secret fear of rejection. Her lidless eyes showed her amusement. She had been conferred to for her plans leading to success for many generations of short human life. But rarely had she been asked for her personal feelings. Thus her sentimentality remained hidden for a long time. "I respect her nature to be fair. Though I must admit I dislike her more now that I have learned she dislikes me. It's strange, in a way, that I never hated her for betrayal but because she judges me before she got to know me."

"Her dislike is because of your nature to keep to yourself," Gemini spoke simply, birds blinking in sync "She's told me she prefers to be around people more... social, if you may. If you opened up to her more, Libra would most likely grow to like you." The peacock ruffled its feathers a bit, and he went on"Her dislike is more of a... misunderstanding. So don't take it too personally yet. She merely doesn't know you well enough to like or dislike you, really."

As Pisces went over to the unconscious Libra, Sagittarius felt a surge of protectiveness wash over him and he swiftly followed suit to be ensure that he didn't get himself hurt. Taurus's words made his placid expression harden slightly and he stepped forward a little bit. "It isn't a question of what she deserves. It is simpy what she needs, Taurus. Traitor or no, I do not believe that I can bring myself to leave a Zodiac." He observed the deity crouching and debating on whether to touch her again or not, nearly sighing in relief when she decided against doing so.


Sagi's attention swiftly snapped to the human guards, who appeared to be armed. He straightened, readying his fighting stance, but relazed ever so slightly as Taurus contained them with her earth. To her repetition of leaving, he nodded curtly, but looked back towards Libra. He meant what he said. He couldn't leave her, especially when everybody else was out but the three of them. As Taurus turned to leave, likely expecting Pisces and himself to follow, he turned back towards the unconscious goddess - who he saw just in time snap back to a waking state, and much to his chagrin, her monster form. However, as she went to swipe at an unsuspecting Pisces, his expression flashed with near unbridled anger. He had one of the shortest tempers, and was quite easy to set off - especially when it came to Pisces. Nobody would hurt the god while he was around, no way in hell.


He turned to face the aforementioned deity he cared so deeply for, trembling slightly from restraining himself to assume his full out monster form to fight alongside Taurus, his deep blue gaze determined. "Pi, I need you to leave. I will find you and come back to you. I promise." He murmured, swiftly pulling him close for a tight embrace and planting a reassuring kiss on the top of his head before pushing him away and turning towards the two fighting signs in their full out monster forms, to which he quickly gave into.


Sagi obliged in knocking Libra around with Taurus, beating her while she had her pinned, and stopping a minute or so after he realized that she had lost consciousness again. He quickly shifted back into his human form, sliding to his knees and trying to catch his breath. "Taurus, come on!" He said, knowing that her monster form and earth manipulation would not last too terribly long, either. The male was almost spent on his energy, but knew that he had enough to escape, and was now heavily debating to take Libra or let her recooperate with her human associates instead. He was sure before, but now had no idea. Libra had lashed out at Pisces, and that was something he would try his damnedest to kill her for. However, his thoughts from the beginning still held.

"She needs nothing from us," Taurus snorted "Deserves nothing from us." Still... it felt odd to just leave her there, to feel the anger of the humans after. Ugh... stupid Libra.


After Libra's beat down, Taurus huffed, muscles clenching and unclenching as she wondered what to do. Why escape when the humans would just hunt them immediately after?


Taurus looked around, up and down at the area. Meh. She sighed softly, and said "Take Libra, and leave. I've decided to cause a cave in." To bring massive amounts of earth down on the facility. Taurus, like the other Signs, was immortal. She'd live. It would take a while for her to gain consciousness again though. Taurus would safer under the debris anyway, once some real reinforcements came, and she could make an easy getaway.


She looked as guards found another way in, with explosives. Taurus snorted, more earthen hands snaking up to greet them. As this happened, rocks and dirt slowly made its way around the entire facility, getting ready to drop down. Only reason Taurus was bringing it down on herself was because she needed to stay inside to buy Lutz time. Humans were going to focus on the Sign fighting them, not the ones fleeing.


"I'll catch up," she added "And don't you argue. You can get these two out, or I throw all three of you out." A grain sounded out. The building structure was already being strained. Being tired, Taurus didn't have the energy to keep the earth up in the air. It was slowly coming down already, pressing onto the building. The cave in would buy all the Signs time, because the humans would need to regroup and reorganize.


Taurus would be conscious again about five or ten minutes after the cave in,if she didn't get out in time, so she'd follow Lutz then, tailing his, Pieces and hopefully Libra's aura.

Aires was running through the facility when the cave in came he had time to spare since he could teleport away when he needed too. Thats what he thought until everything started to collapse. "Oh shit" he teleported just as the rocks came down. He didn't have enough time to think about where he would teleport so he ended up about a mile away ad he could still see the building. "I should wait a few hours before teleporting to anyone so I don't end up back into the facility." So he walked away from the facility just to make sure no humans could find him.

V casually strolled into the same room from which the others were leaving, with the exception of both Taurus and Libra. The visual evidence was more than damning enough to suggest what was going on. The four guards at his sides raised their weapons defensively, though at the raising of a single slender hand on Virgo's behalf, they stayed their reaction. It was now that he chose to really reveal his arrival, focusing on Taurus with a hint of a smile on his youthful face. "Hello, love. Heard all the commotion. I assumed now was the time to act." He had been holding back on what his abilities could do until now.


Turning back to the guards who now accompanied him, he spoke softly. "Please do me a favor, sweethearts. Watch the door for me? Wouldn't want anyone getting through." The guards nodded, their pupils wide and their gazes a little distant. "Lovely." As they took their positions, V walked smoothly over to Taurus. As he did, moths began to form on the earth she had summoned to contain the guards, whispering gently to them while he raised a hand to settle upon her back. "We can let them go, if you'd like. They should cover our retreat, at least for a few minutes." As he looked up at her, he smiled with sparkling eyes.

Pisces merely nodded to Taurus, but said nothing. He listened as she continued and then when Sagittarius chimed in. He couldn’t help but feel bad for Libra despite the truth in what Taurus said. Most of his fellow Signs seemed to hate or despise her for helping the humans. After all, the humans would never have been able to capture any of us without her help. And it hurt to know that humans feared them, the ones who created them; that Libra would try to nurture that fear and gain the trust of the humans only to help them imprison her family and conduct endless experiments. ‘But… she never really hurt us, and she just wanted to help the humans not feel so helpless and powerless compared to us...’


Suddenly, Libra’s eyes shot open and she shifted into her Monster form. Alexo’s eyes widened and he stepped back fearfully, flinching when Libra prepared to attack him. He didn’t want to hurt her and he was confused as to why she would attack him. Pisces took another step back, looking up at Taurus thankfully when she pounced on Libra. His green eyes were filled with terror and dread. Now he would definitely have to leave without helping Libra.


He looked up when Luzifer turned to him and instinctively winced at the harsh and furious look in his blue eyes. He could tell Sagittarius was holding back his anger and Pisces didn’t want to just leave him, or Taurus, to fight Libra while the ‘traitor’ Zodiac was acting this way. He would help if really had to. The small Sign sighed when Lutz embraced him, hugging Sagittarius back tightly when the other laid a kiss upon his head. “Be careful, Sagi…” Pisces called softly, looking up nervously as the taller Sign also turned to his Monster form before he and Taurus bashed on Libra.


Alexo turned, just seeing Aquarius heading out the front door while the humans were distracted and heading to the escape path that Gemini had made. Quickly, he dashed after her, apprehensively dodging the few humans who pointed guns at him. With a small wave of his hand, he cast illusions on the humans near him, making them believe that they were now in a flaming forest. He didn’t look back at the startled humans who dropped their weapons and cried out in distress, nor when they began running in different directions through the facility's rubble to escape the ‘flames’ and ‘thick black smoke’ as Pisces darted out the front door as well. The ground and the facility shook as he exited, and Alexo felt a simultaneous wave of regret and relief now that he was finally out. Now that he was finally free.


Before he could think about whether or not he should have stayed to help, he spotted Aquarius up ahead. Pisces briskly walked towards her, glancing around timidly for any further dangers. She appeared to be looking around for something as well, but luckily she did not look injured. It had been a while since he had talked to her, but despite her constant persona changes, she was usually a friendly Sign and he knew she didn’t like to be alone. He would stick with her for a while until they got reunited with their fellow Zodiacs. Everyone seemed to have gone off in different directions, after all. “Rei? Are you alright?” Alexo asked softly as he approached her side, his green eyes still laced with fear, but he smiled kindly. It felt good to be outside again, and to feel his energy and power resurging; to be with another Sign in a place other than the ‘prison’ behind them.

It took a moment to register V was even talking, because Taurus was so concentrated on the tons of earth waiting time crash down onto the building. Haulting the process, she finally turned her head a bit to look at V, a small smile coming to her. Taurus then said"You missed quite the show."


When the male suggested letting the humans go, Taurus hesitated. The idea of crushing everyone inside after the Signs got out was very appealing. However, that would solidify what Libra said about the Signs, saying they were monsters to humans. Sighing, she decided"Fine. Freedom be their fate." A swish of her hand caused the earth to retreat safely back to its spots in the ground. Turning to V fully, Taurus finished"Let's make tracks then." Meaning let's get going. Looking she said to Saggitarius"Follow us out. Whether Libra comes or not is your decision. I sure as hell am not taking her." And then she turned to leave, signaling for Virgo to accompany her. Looks like humans in facility would live another day.


As she casually walked toward the exit Gemini made earlier, assuming and hoping V was going to follow her, she commanded the earth to reveal life to her. She snorted, feeling the vibration of approaching humans. Their reinforcements. Taurus half hoped Saggitarius would leave Libra there to be in mercy of her humans.


"Humans are such an odd, young species," Taurus said aloud to V "Much for them to learn and correct, don't you think?"

V had listened carefully to Taurus, smiling and nodding in silent agreement that he had indeed missed a show. The way the room looked had been a clear indicator of such. As the humans were released however, he turned with her to leave. The whispered words took effect however, and as the Signs moved to escape the guards who had heard Virgo's requests found themselves moving to the entryways, setting up in formation and opening fire to stop other guards from coming through.


They would flee together, working to catch up to the others. The sound of gunfire followed them down the hallway as the guards under V's influence continued to shoot with the intent to prevent reinforcements from catching up. "Yes, but they do show so much promise," he responded with a serenity to his voice in the way one would speak as though discussing the weather after a comfy breakfast. The shaggy, black hair bounced with a healthy, reflective shine while dark eyes searched out every turn and twist ahead of them, working with Taurus to ensure they would keep on the heels of their kin.


"Have we a plan for when we escape, love?" He inquired. He had tried to get some advance information on the outside terrain, but as he'd had to be low key with his talents, he hadn't been able to learn anything useful.

Leo opened his eyes slowly,finding himself splattered against the ground of his holding cell. His entire body hurt from his last attempted escape. Of course that happened. He was the troublemaker,after all. He needed to see the outside,this confinement was slowly making him go crazy.


He growled like an animal as he stood up and started to bang against the walls of his cell.


"LET ME OUT!"

"I hope the Signs will stay in small groups, if not spread out alone," Taurus said thoughtfully "So we'll be easier to track." Then, she paused, picking up the agitated energy of Leo. She groaned, stopped where she was.


"Leo is still here," Taurus groaned slightly "Hold on a sec." Raising a brow, her eyes turned green with earthen energy, as she sought Leo out through the voices of the ground. Upon finding him, earth shot up, and ripped an exit open in Leo's cell. It then formed a sort of humanoid, and spoke"Follow... others... already out..." It vaguely sounded like Taurus, but it was hard to even get her Golem to speak from distances away.


Taurus had it turn, and move out and back toward her and V at a surprisingly quick pace.


"Leo hopefully will be on his way," she told V "I made a Golem to help him out." Her eyes dimmed the green glow, and she continued walking. Only reason she stopped was because it was hard to make a Golem while moving.


"If you're planning to stick with me," she decided "We'll be laying low for a few days, away from the others, as all the Signs together gives off more energy to notice. That sound okay to you?" It would be easier to stay hidden anyway, if they weren't all together.

There it was again. That familiar pressure upon his chest whenever he realized that he was locked away by himself. Leo felt his Power Form wanting to burst out of him,but he knew how hard it was to control that enormous amount of power.


Happily,he didn't have to.


Leo jumped when the wall by his side exploded,creating a hole that would allow him to leave the cell. He couldn't help but mistrust the golem for a moment. Was that another one of Libra's testing? But he didn't exactly have a better choice than following it.


He didn't see any other signs upon the cells,so apparently the escape was actually happening. Running with his animal speed,Leo practically flew away from the place as he followed the golem.


The image of Taurus suddenly appeared,along with a huge smile on Leo's face.


"TAURUS!" He wrapped the sign into a tight hug,something typical of him. He was about to do the same with V until he remembered the situation. "Oh,right. Escaping. Trying to sneak out and not be locked again. Sorry."


Leo's hair was completely messy,dark bags bellow his eyes. He had always been one of those who really suffered with the confinement.

Rei turned at hearing a familiar voice. "huh? oh, hey Pisces." She greeted merrily. Her head cocked to the side at the other sign's question of her being unhurt. "yeah, im unharmed." She said giving a small grin. Of course, that was a lie but she was too proud to admit to have been wounded. "anyways, are the other signs safe?" Rei asked trying to move the conversation on before Alexio could question her about her answer.


"actually... maybe we should get somewhere less... open. before we talk any farther. I don't want to get recaptured." Rei looked around. So far there wasn't anyone trying to get them. which meant the humans were still focused on Libra and whoever was fighting her. Rei flinched a little like she'd just been hit. But she tried to play it off.

V had been fine with the notion that they would be laying low for a few days, and nodded with just a whisper of a response. "Whatever you say, love." It would be a treat just to be around others again, especially Taurus. To feel skin, to speak and listen... Such things were a luxury taken for granted, but to V they were the very currency of life. He had only just begun to look for Leo when the expressive young man made himself known quite apparently.


He had watched Leo hug Taurus, and had raised his arms to accept a hug himself when Leo stopped and apologized. "Nothing to be sorry about, sweetheart. I'd be happy to hug you." He then looked back and forth between the two. "Besides, with both of you here, we should be able to escape quite easily. Please, let me know how I can be of assistance to either of you." His soft, doll like face smiled with shining eyes at both of them. "I believe in you both, with all my heart."

"I believe they did," Gemini answered "We would sense their distress from even here if they hadn't, now that our powers have been returned to us." His two forms ruffled their feathers in sync, and the peacock warbled softly before the two continued"We should get moving, as humans. So we can find a more suitable place to hide."

Of course Taurus accepted Leo's hug, saying"Good to see you were able to escape. Not that we would've left the entire area before you made it out, no matter how long it took, hm?" She was tempted to hang around until Saggitarius left the area, but she knew the male could get out on his own.


Taurus looked at them both, and merely smiled, gesturing for them to follow her still. She let the golem fall apart into earth again, and led the way out. She felt the feet of guards on the earth a distance away. No matter. They would be gone by the time they even reached their current location. Just in case though, she brought up a wall of earth again to go up around the end of the exit, sealing the entrance and buying herself, Virgo and Leo some more time to escape.


"I know a place we can go and hide for a while, but we must move quickly," Taurus brought up her plan to Leo "I told V, it would be better for us Signs to stay in small groups, so we'll be harder to track in general." The dark-skinned female would always have some sort of plan her, especially if it was necessary to keep fellow Signs safe.


"At least we're not escaping alone," she said with another smile "I prefer the company of such fine individuals." Had she escaped alone, Taurus would've at least gone to find V. She liked his company most.

Capricorn's tail lightly splashed in the water, a fish equivalent to a nod. "I have a place we can go. It's far away from the humans, though somewhat uncomfortable. Tell the others to meet us there, will you? After all, you can be in two places at once, can't you?" Aurel wasn't sure. Gemini had two forms, but they may not be able to seperate.


Despite Gemini's reassurance, Aurel worried still. She could feel that they were fine, but she disliked abandoning them instead of helping them get out. She tried to tell herself that they were gods and could handle themselves... But even so, they were in this situation. This was the time to show the humans that they wouldn't and couldn't overpower the zodiac again.

Leo smiled brightly as he turned to V and hugged him with tightness,burring his face into his shoulder. Leo wasn't known for half-assing anything,specially hugs. So the movement was long and complete heartfelt.





"I thought I was going to die alone. That...wasn't nice. Let's forget that."





He slowly pushed his hair away from his face,taking a deep breath of the outside air.


"Agreed." Leo said immediately once he heard the plan,blue eyes shining towards Taurus and V. He would have agreed with any plan just to be able to have company again. The fact that he trusted the two sings only helped. "We can meet up with the others later once we are in a more stabilized place."

"I would never allow you to die alone, Leo. Not a one of you." V said nothing else. At this point, he was pushing hmself to be able to keep up with the longer strides and more powerful physiques of Taurus and Leo. However, he was not the type to complain, and bit down on the slowly increasing burn in his lungs as they moved through the cover. Long black hair swept backward as they ran, his eyes quickly searching for what his senses were already telling him.


His senses even told him through the earth all the same details that Taurus had been feeling, yet he had always held back when using his power over the earth. Perhaps the earth offered its power freely, yet because he could not ask it always felt he was exerting control over it. People could be asked, reasoned with, even pleaded with when things were bad, but the earth was always a still and silent guardian. It was, in its own way, intimidating. Still, he was resolved to do all and everything for his two companions and the other signs wherever and whenever possible, even as his muscles began to send a slowly crescendo of protest over how much use they were seeing. After all, until recently he had been a bird in a cage, whose sweet songs fell on deaf ears.


Now... Now they were free, and he would go wherever they led.

Scorpio popped out of the vent easily and looked around. She was on the roof and tried to find where her fellow zodiacs were. "Crap I lost them... I guess I'll have to find someone to catch up with later" Anna said to herself as she jumped off the roof and began to run in a random direction. She ran as fast as her legs could take her letting the wind blow on her face, she finally was free from the humans she could finally be able to go to where ever she wanted and do whatever she wanted. 'I can finally read new books and eat all the sweets in a quiet place' Scorpio thought to herself and she ran even faster now.
