He wakes up, Another day in this stupid life. He gets dressed, brushes his teeth with an old toothbrush and toothpaste. Puts on some nice shoes he robbed another day. Gets on his daily clothes and puts some snacks and soda in his backpack, getting them out of his rusty fridge. Puts a gun in his right pocket. I don't want anyone threatening or killing me, i haven't got here for nothing. He walks very heavily, hates getting up this early. I could stay in bed for all i want, but supplies don't appear by themselves. He opens the door with a kick, seeing the living room. A big sofa, with some covers all over it, wanting to sleep, but can't.

He opens to door, revealing the gray, collapsed building, with plants all over them. Home sweet home. He takes a step outside, stepping on his wore out stairs. He breathes the contaminated air. He feels a sudden urge to fight. But seems like that won't happen today. He goes to the old park and explores it a bit. Much more plant diversity than ever, since human stopped cutting and caring about places like this. Broken benches, old and wore out slides and children's games. He find an actually nice and clean bench, he sits on it, just staring at the gray sky.

Olivia continues typing on the computer. She sighed slightly, being tremendously bored. She had stayed up all night it seems. Peering at the time, she sees that it would be time to go to work soon. Hopefully something comes up. A murder would be nice. Even better, a brutal murder with different body parts scattered all over the place, used as clues. Olivia thought to herself, smiling wickedly. She was bored, she needed something to do. Olivia quickly got dressed and took care of her daily needs and hoped that her co-workers wouldn't bug her today. They're so idiotic, she thought, smirking at how one of their last cases took forever to solve. They thought it was a suicide, but it was actually a murder. Why do you think she had multiple bruises on her wrist? Did you not put that with the other evidence?

Stumbling out of her apartment, she touched her doorknob once, unlocked it, locked it again, then tapped the top. It was like her daily routine, as she has minor OCD. Walking out of the building, Olivia glared at her once beautiful city of Los Angeles. When she was a kid, she didn't suppress her emotions like she does now. She was always excited to move to Los Angeles. Now that she's finally there, it's in ruins as the buzzing city with celebrities and internet famous teenagers are now gone. Everyone lived in terror now, trying to avoid criminals and make a living out of whatever foolish job they have. Olivia, she was a detective. Well, a trainee detective. It was her dream job as a kid and it's finally become extremely relevant in this city of criminals. The miscreants of Los Angeles basically rule the city, and Olivia was here to help take it back. If she got around to caring about the city. She believes that if you show emotions, they will hinder your ability to deduce intellectually.

Getting up has always been an easy task for Selena, so when her alarm rings she jumps out of her bed ready to start a new day. Her sister is still asleep and like every morning she prepares Janas breakfeast before actually waking her. It's not much, just a slice of bread, some butter and jam, but neverless her little sister is always greatfull for what she gets, no matter how little.

So when Selena open the door to her room,as run down as the rest of their shithole of flat, and shakes her awake with a cheery " Good morning, sunshine!" She is greeted with a happy, lazy smile and an equal lazy, mumbeld response :"Good morning...annoying sister"

Not leaving without giving her darling sister a playful whack to her head, she turns around, leaving her sister room to prepare herself for the day.

She had to one ore two delieveries for her 'side' job before actually starting her part-time job in a small supermarket two blocks down. Getting her jacket an a small package, which she puts in a red backpack, from her room, Selena stops in front of the door and looks back. " Jana? Sweety, I don't know when I will be back today, so don't wait up ok?" Her sister sticks her head out of the kitchen and replies: " Sure thing, Selena, but don't overwork yourself again!"

With that she left their shared flat.

A look at her worn watch tells her that she has to hurry, her customer is propably already waiting. They told her to meet him in the park near the old hotel, nobody ever goes near there since it has a bit of a spooky atmosphere. Dealing with drugs is, after all, not something you should do somewhere where everybody can see you. Selena hates drugs, and she is also not the one who deals with them, she just delievers, never more never less. It's not the only thing she delievers, but it is a great part of it.

Arriving at the park, she looks around, waiting for her customer. He dosen't seem to be here already, the only person she sees is a grumpy guy sitting on a bench. She gives him a good look and decides immidiatly that this guy does not look like somebody who takes drugs. So she continues her search.

After an early morning hostage crisis, Detective James Saverino found himself in the Office of the Police Captain, being berated and yelled at for brutally beating the hostage taker, disobeying a direct order and, to an extent, causing property damage. However, because this was a 'normal' thing, Detective Saverino was then dismissed. Since it wasn't time for him to go out on patrol yet, James decided to head into the Gym and start working out, feeling underweight despite being one of the heavier Officers because of his muscular frame. Since he was pretty much an Expert in Hand to Hand Combat, James just walked over to the Punching Bag in the Weight Room, strapped some gloves on and started punching the bag to release some frustration after this morning's hot call.

Walking into the police station, Olivia dismissed everyone trying to greet her or talk to her. She didn't want to deal with these idiots today. As she entered the police station, her name became Detective Olivia Donovan, or plainly just Detective Donovan. She wondered what she would do today, as she didn't really want to be with a partner again. It was inevitable that Detective Donovan would have a partner with her, she was only a Trainee Detective, she wasn't allowed to do a whole case on her own. She'd rather be by herself solving a case, she was the one as a kid who told everyone that they were doing it wrong then do it all herself in school projects. She thinks as if having a partner would just slow her down. Peering into the room where the cases were talked about, she noticed the whiteboard was filled with a whole new case. She figured they would start a new case without her, as they always call her a nuisance. She doesn't try to be, she just thinks everyone else is an idiotic soul that doesn't know how to solve crimes correctly.

When she's wrong herself, she's too stubborn to accept it. Walking over to the coffee machine, she grabs a cup of hot coffee and mixes in some creams and sugar. Detective Donovan walks over to her desk and turns on her computer. Can the day just start already? I'm already so bored! She thought to herself, groaning. She was a bit childish at times, as she needed to be constantly entertained. She typed on her keyboard aimlessly, just trying to do whatever until the Police Captain decides who she should be partners with today. Detective Donovan's detective skills are very good, making up for her constant snarky remarks about her co-workers.

After spending about an hour releasing his frustration, the Police Captain decided to partner him up with Detective Donovan. "What, the new girl?" he asked while taking his Knuckle Wraps off. James got a little irritated because he was used to working alone because his last and only partner was his Father, who died in the line of duty a couple years ago. Most Officers were in fact afraid to be partners with Detective Saverino half the time because of his hot temper and disposition to use excessive violence. He then went into the Men's Locker Room so he can go shower up and get ready for the day. Because he was used to working out a lot, Detective Saverino was not sore or anything. After getting dressed, he was taken by the Captain to be introduced to Detective Donovan. Despite his reluctance, Saverino tried his best to be on his best behavior, wanting a good first impression on the new girl, despite his already notorious reputation.

I hear steps on the grass, crunching leaves. I look at my left and i see a girl. She looks way too preserved for these times. He sees she gave him a stink eye. Oh well. He gets up, tired, and goes to a super market. There's a group of people selling. He goes up to them and buys some food. He walks up, very calmly. He looks around, he goes back to home. Opens the door and lays on the sofa. Today's gonna be a loong day. He turns on the television, powered by some old batteries. He falls asleep.

Detective Donovan was greeted by the Police Captain, with a man next to him. Ah, Detective Saverino. The one with a slight anger problem and a cold demeanor. He's constantly in the Captain's office for breaking things not needed to be broken. She thought to herself, turning back to her computer. "Hello, Detective Saverino. I'm Detective Donovan, as you may know. I hope you're not as idiotic as people make you out as." She says, typing dinner ideas in the search engine. All she wanted to do was occupy herself until they have to start their case. Her green hues searched the screen as they set on something that looked kind of fun to make.

She rested her head on her hand, finally turning to face the Captain and Detective. She scanned the detective with her eyes, and gave him a condescending smile. Detective Donovan believed she was higher than everyone, and she acted as so. She made many enemies that way and she doesn't have any friends. Most people just call her names. Detective Donovan didn't like to talk a lot, she'd rather drown your 'annoying' voice out with her own thoughts.

"A pleasure to meet you, Detective. Of course I'm not like your previous partners. People do find it hard to work with me...I'm just gonna warn you on that now so you don't be surprised later." James straightened out his wrists. "I look forward to working with you. That is if you can work with a...Loose Cannon." He folded his arms as their Captain left, which meant it was time for the two to get to know each other. This was new for James, because he was used to working on his own and it was difficult for him to get along with other Detectives and Police Officers. He sat down in one of the chairs across from Donovan. "So you're the new kid everyone's been talking about. Tell me more about yourself." he crossed his legs and folded his arms. "Sorry, its just that I'd like to get to know my co-workers. Something my Dad used to tell me."

"According to others, I'm a freak, a zombie and a cold-blooded person. I don't know how to describe myself, and I will not." Detective Donovan said, sighing a bit. She didn't mind what people said about her, but she wasn't fond at talking or talking about herself for that matter. "If you ask other people in this building, they most likely hate me." She stated with a straight face. Her eyes twinkled with excitement. As much as she hated interaction with others, it wasn't as boring as what she was doing before their conversation. "Now, tell me about yourself."

Detective Donovan started tapping her nails on her desk with her unoccupied hand, wondering what she would be doing today with Detective Saverino. Like previously stated in Olivia's mind, she'd rather work on cases by herself, but she's only a Trainee Detective. A new girl, needed to be taught. When really, she didn't need to be taught anything. She knew exactly what to do and how to do it, and she demonstrated this excellently to the Police Captain, yet he won't promote her to an actual Detective yet. She didn't mind Detective Saverino yet, he's not being completely annoying. Olivia understood his intentions of getting to know her, and as long as he didn't do anything idiotic and unnecessary, she would be fine working with him.

"Me? Well, I've been on the force for the six years now. I come from a Family of Cops. My Great-Grandfather was a Detective after World War II, my Grandpa was a member of the first S.W.A.T Team and then my Dad, he was a damn good detective, probably one of the best the LAPD's ever had. He died four years ago in the line of duty..." James started talking about his Family History with the Los Angeles Police Department. "Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to bore you with a History Lesson." His Father's death still haunted him. "But well, for me...I'm just a Loose Cannon armed with a Smart Mouth, Hot Temper and Itchy Trigger Finger." James has never dealt with a Rookie before. However, he knew how it felt to be the new kid. Next to his late Father, not very many Officers befriended him, especially a year following his Father's death, where by then he actually was a Loose Cannon and became notorious for using excessive force, causing property damage and disobeying orders. It was in fact a wonder how he hasn't been fired or suspended. "Yeah...Um...Expect some blood and property damage if suspects end up leading us on goose chases. Might also want to bring a barf bag for the car rides too. Just warning you now so you don't get pissed later."

Olivia put on a mischievous smirk, becoming a big fan of this man. She knew she was going to have an exciting and action packed day, due to this partnership. Detective Donovan loved the thrill of the chase, the blood pumping through her veins while damaging many things to catch the criminal. Yet, this man was all talk. He claims to be a loose cannon with a smart mouth, hot temper and an 'itchy trigger finger', but she hasn't seen those aspects of him yet. She remembered the whiteboard room, filled with notes and evidence of their newest case.

"Would you like to check out the new popular case that the others have yet to solve?" Detective Donovan asked the man. She was incredibly excited to start, yet hiding it behind her usual mask of a straight face. She got up and headed into that room, which was currently empty. She was planning on looking at all of the details thoroughly and trying to solve it just by looking at it. The fun part would be running to catch the suspect. A smile creeped onto her face as she held the doorknob of the room. Detective Donovan looked back at a Detective Saverino, awaiting his reply.

A gun shot wakes him up. He gets up very rapidly, grabs the gun and kicks the door open, gets behind a box. He looks around. There's a shootout. I don't want to waste bullets. He goes running away from the shots. He goes trough fences, jumping them. He gives a look back and sees someones chasing him. He runs and runs, he takes a corner. He stops and waits. The persons here. He grabs his face and smashes it in the wall. Oh god. He runs away from the scene, he can't let himself get in another crime investigation.

He goes trough streets, his stomach growls. He goes to a local restaurant. Gets inside and sits on one of the seats. He asks for some food, waits patiently for it to come. He starts eating very nervously, looking to all parts. He's very nervous, worried about what he did, Will i get found? Am i going to damn jail again?

Detective Donovan opened the door to the room, with had pictures full of a dead corpse. The corpse looked familiar. I can't put my finger on it. Ah! It's that actor that my mom really liked. Johnny Depp? She thought to herself. It couldn't be Johnny Depp's body, could it? There were no more celebrities in California anymore, all of the cities have become a playground for miscreants. Sadly, no good movies have come out, and all celebrities have gone in hiding. There won't be any movies coming out anytime soon. Detective Donovan quickly looked at all of the evidence. It may look like she's just skimming through it, but she thoroughly the evidence and is currently connecting the dots. She would miss her chance if she explained it all to Detective Saverino. "Um, sorry. I'm just going to go to the bathroom. Stay here..." She said, before sprinting out the door and into the streets. The markings on the ground explain that the man hurriedly killed the other, then ran. Obviously, they're going to hide in somewhere obvious if they're smart. Obvious equals non-suspicious. But Olivia knew better. She walked over to the crime scene, which the body and the evidence is lacking, since they took all of it to run scans on. She then spotted a restaurant close to the crime scene.

"Gotcha." Olivia said, walking into the restaurant, scanning everyone in there. She sits down at a table and orders food, while still looking around for suspicious looking people. She spots a man that is shaking a bit while he's eating. He seems very nervous, but Olivia wanted to make sure. She got up and walked over to someone's table and grabbed their bowtie and settled it on my neck. The waiters and waitresses outfits consisted of a black and white suit and a bowtie, which I was now wearing. She grabs a menu and walks over to the man's table. "Hello, how is your food? Would you like to look at the dessert menu?" She said, as she tried to secretly grab his wrist to check his pulse. His pulse was very fast, he indeed was nervous. She let go of his wrist and awaited his answer.

James followed Olivia into the Restaurant, feeling that she had taken too long. He wasn't much of a talker and was pretty much just there for the ride. "Sorry if I am not doing much. Just...um...Think of me as your muscle. After all, I want to give you a chance to show that you can be a good detective too." He told her as they were assigned to their case. When she had asked him to wait outside, he left the restaurant and watched her from their car to make sure that whoever she was interrogating didn't do anything stupid, because if he did, he was gonna be in for a very, very brutal beating. To show that he was serious, he put on a pair of Knuckle Gloves. "One wrong move, man...One...Wrong...Move."

He lays more to the back. He hears the waitresses words. He suddenly stops being so nervous Oh, a normal person, finally. He gives a deep breath. ''I just want a coffee, no dessert, thank you, quite strange that you decided to grab my wrist.'' He suspects something. He looks around. Their normal customers, he has been here numerous times. He looks out of the window and sees a car parked. He sees a man, putting on some gloves. He starts to get serious. He looks at the waitress, I've never seen her here before, quite suspicious. He laughs. He gives a deep look to the ''waitress'' ''You're new, aren't you?'' Seems like getting out of killing someone isn't as easy. ''You know? I'll be better of going, i'm alright now.'' He gets up calmly and gets outside, lits up a cigar.

I hope this goes better than i think it will. He looks at the man at the car, gives him a serious look. He puts his hood on and a bandana he had under his jacket, putting it over his nose. He tilts his head slightly to the right. He turns and goes trough a dark alley, walking very slowly.

Detective Donovan takes off the bowtie and throws it somewhere in the general vicinity of whoever owned it. This man was acting very suspicious, and she thinks they caught the guy! "Let's go!" She yells to Detective Saverino as she runs out the door and follows the man into the dark alley. She quietly approaches the man, hoping he doesn't turn around too early. She nods toward Detective Saverino, needing his help capturing the suspect. Suddenly, she grabs the suspect and waits for Detective Saverino for back-up.

Olivia was very content with this. It has been her easiest case yet. But little does she know, the others won't believe her if she randomly brings him in. She doesn't have any actual evidence that he did it, there were no video cameras in the alley that he performed the crime. Her co-workers wouldn't believe her if she just said "this is the guy". She needed proof. Olivia furrowed her eyebrows while trying to think of something.

He hears the couple of police behind him. He grins. He turns around and looks at both the cops, ''Looks like i want right, eh, sweetheart?'' He giggles very lightly. ''Even if you guys grab me, and take me to the police, you have no proof whatsoever of whatever you want me for or what i'm being accused with, i'm informed, don't think all criminals are stupid'' He looks at them both Oh, they don't see as much as for what i've fought before. A fit guy and a rookie cop, more than easy, i've been against whole groups. He waves at them and starts running, jumps on a box and jumps once again, grabbing on a fence and jumping over it.

Olivia calculated his route in her head, deciding on all the roads and alleyways he could and would take. Detective Donovan was not a normal lanky girl. She was intelligent. She decided to take the perfect route to intersect whatever route he took. Olivia has memorized most of the streets and alleyways in Los Angeles, one of the things she decided to study before she moved there. She was a practical detective with impractical tactics. They usually seemed to work though. She started sprinting toward the route she decided to take.

She was coming up to the place where she hoped to intersect the man, and sat on the bench. She terribly hoped she wasn't wrong with her calculations, but if she was she could easily try to calculate another route. Olivia decided to pretend to read a book, to make sure she was concealed from the suspect's vision. She handed her partner a beret hat, and gestured for him to quickly put it on.

"Do I have to?" he asked when the hat was handed to him. James was not really used to wearing hats. Mainly because he was used to having spiky hair all the time. Second, he was pretty muscular and wasn't exactly a by-the-book cop like his partner. "I'll say one thing. He picked the wrong cop to mess with today." James cracked his knuckles, knowing that capturing the suspect will not be easy, so he figured that he'd beat up the suspect first and then arrest him. Because he had Olivia as his witness, he would easily be able to slip through being under investigation and being on a topic of Police Brutality. However, after seeing what L.A had become, it didn't really matter to James. Despite having repeated incidents of using excessive force, causing property damage and disobeying orders, James was not afraid to get his hands dirty in order to bring in a suspect.

He lands with a roll on the ground, he sprints to another street. He puts his hands on his jacket's pockets. He starts walking very calmly, throwing his cigar to the ground and stepping on it. He speeds up his walk and takes a turn, turning his head slightly to the left and right, always observing his environment. He cracks his knuckles and puts on starts wrapping bandages over his fists. He walks very calmly, trying to seem the least suspicious he can. He takes another turn and walks a bit, he suddenly sees the male cop sitting in a bench. Heh, ridiculous disguise, mr. tuff guy. He stops and looks at them. He stares at them. ''So, that's what you couple of rookies are gonna do? Follow me all day? I'm going to go all law on you. If you guys try to attack me or arrest me in any way, you'd be disobeying police orders, you can't harm me right now, i know you will do so, try to kill me, detective james. Everyone talks about you, saying you always disobey, so you'll try to beat me up right now. But, trust me mate, i'm the best fighter in this town, and i'll crack your skull. I could take all the punches you can give me, i've taken bat hits. But, hurt me, and i end your little cop job, then i'd be able to pop a cap in you without having cops on my trail''. He gets his hands out of his pockets and stares at the cops.

"We'll just see about that. Won't we?" James threw off his disguise. Little did the criminal know, James had a K-9 Companion, a vicious one too. James' K-9, Blackheart, was hiding somewhere nearby. "I'm not looking to kill ya, but you talk a lot of s***. I'm gonna hold you to that." James was one for few words and was a man of action. Rather then trying to negotiate, James actually started instigating the fight. "Do you really think I care if I lose my Job or not? If it means putting you away, then I can care less." He already built quite the reputation. The only orders he did disobey were the questionable ones or if it went against his own morals. While most of the High Ranking Officers didn't like him so much, most of the SWAT actually praise him for doing what he does.

''So you're going to put me away? So kill me, heh, i could care less if you desire or not to lose your job, the thing i saw is that when you leave your overprotective job, i'll be able to kill you without your witty partners chasing me. I'm not looking to fight, and if we do, one of us will die, since i bet you won't have mercy on me. And i hear some dog barking and drooling, i don't know if it yours, but if it is, it'll kill me. I don't want to die here, and i believe neither do you, so..'' He starts sprinting away and starts climbing a ladder from a building, I could possibly kill him, but if i do, i'll be in a worse sh*thole than the one i'm now.

When he tried to get away, a Wolf-like Siberian Husky jumped out of seemingly no where and bit him hard in the ankle and refused to let go. Little did he know, James had set a trap for him and has been looking into activities that he has had a hand in for the past month and a half if not more. Sadly, Blackheart let go because he couldn't hold on long enough because he wasn't used to getting suspects on ladders yet. "If you want a game of cat and mouse, you got one." Luckily for James, Blackheart was a very intelligent and smart dog so he decided to run around the block and see if they could corner their suspect. James wasted no time and got to chasing him and was able to keep pace with him. "This is Detective James Saverino. I'm in pursuit of a White Male, Black Hair, Medium Build, Appears to be twenty three years of age, wearing a Black Sweatshirt. Requesting all personal to be on the alert!" James informed dispatch via wireless communication. James was able to keep pace with him despite being weighed down by Combat Boots and a Jacket that was probably lined with Kevlar as well as other equipment that he could have been carrying with him.
