Phoenix stopped in the middle of the hall


"Wait a second, there's a breeze coming from the wall"


He started to feel the wall and found a loose stone and pushed it. The wall open to reveal an old passage that hasn't been used for ages.

Rhin bounded after Phoenix and into the secret passage " spoky " she said with a giggle as she hummed to her favorite song nonchalantly bouncing as she walked

Phoenix reached into his coat and pulls a Japanese pipe and a box of matches


"This should help us see"


He strikes a match and lights his pipe then lights the torch on the wall

Rhin glanced to the torch and grabs one as well she used his to might hard then dashes ahead yelling " Hello!!! " to see how far the tunnel went and if there where any zombies nearby so they could kill them

"If I'm right and I've been alot lately, this should led to the outskirts of town. Let's go you two"

" Technically I'm beating you to the end so... " She trailed out as she heard a sort of screech which made her freeze

Rhin shushed him sharply and shot a glare at him before listening for the sound again, she darted forwards after dropping her torch and disappearing down the dank passage

"What is wrong with her"


Phoenix rounded the other kid

Rhin encountered someone bin by he passage, though they laid on the ground bleeding badly... It was a young girl, around the age of seven or eight. Rhin knelt down and inspected the girls wounds, fearing the worst

"Move aside Rhin, let me see kid"


Phoenix handed Rhin the torch as he kneeled in front of the little girl

Rhin stayed right where she was and gently pulled away a bloody cloth on the girls side and tensed... A chunk of flask an muscle had been bitten off all the way time the bone.


The little girl was whining and saying that it hurt she tossed her he ad back and forth before mumbling " Where did they go? "

She's dying, I won't let her die here. I'll carry her, Rhin you light the way"


Phoenix lifts up the little girl and starts to follow Rhin

Yume sat hiding in her room, earlier when the attacks began she turned and just ran, now she was trapped in her room with a hand full of the undead outside her door. She was scared and didn't know what to do, she had been training for four years but nothing could have prepared her for this. the dead walking, it was just madness and she just couldn't handle it.


A scream from the other side of her door sounded out and the banging on the door ceased a second later. this brief silence allowed Yume to get herself together "What would Big Brother do, what would Uncle Arthur do" she asked herself "What would Mom and Dad have done?" Yume picked herself up and pulled on her cloak "I know what they wouldn't have done, died here" She picked up her bow, strung he quiver to her back and her dagger to her hip. With a gentle push Yume opened her window and clambered out onto the roof. Once there she looked around using her hands as if they were binoculars, in the distance she spotted a trio of students leaving the school grounds by jumping from rooftop to rooftop, off in the distance she could see the Stables she could see the creatures were inside the horses probably became their meal, but hung over a fence Yume thought she could make out horse armor and not the kind the Academy used but it looked familiar she couldn't quite think of how.


On another side Yume could see the Great Hall she remembered hearing some yell for students to head there she wondered if they were still alive if so it was safe there and it was her best bet to find her brother. Putting her hands down Yume starts heading over toward the Great Hall using rooftops as those others were.

The little girl winced hard and whimpered clinging to Phoenix she closed her eyes " I want my mommy and daddy " she walked


Rhin nodded and began walking before whispering to Phoenix " You know that she may well turn into a zombie " as soon as the words escaped her lips she was tackled by a zombie and it snapped at her. Rhin dropped the torch with a yell of surprise and punched the zombie in the jaw, there was a sickening snap and its jaw broke... Hanging from the unbroken side it dangled in Rhine's face, she heard more zombies and she quickly punched again, her fist went through the zombies head.


With a shudder she kicked of fb the zombie and jumped up.


A small hard of zombies was heading towards them, two on the right and three on the left. Rhin flicked the bits of bone and blood off her fist before tensing and rushing forwards she swiftly dispatched the two on the right and went for the next one. One got behind her and yanked her hair back as another came at her from the side as she kicked the one in front of her into a wall killing it.


The little girl screamed recognizing the two zombies on Rhin " Mommy! Uncle! Stop it! " she had even Rhin kicked her dad into a wall and reached out to the two zombies attacking Rhin, she was terrified and devastated

"ok we can get across if we move slowly and quietly." wit sah thatid he slowly walked across the road to the entrance of the armies HQ/armory. @GreatGuyTomorrow @Xelvere

Kareem let out a sigh of relief as he pulled Elysion out of the now twice dead corpse at his feet and shaking the blade to get the blood off of it. He had been there slaying these.....creatures for a while now. At first, they didn't want to stay dead, but when he went for the head, they quit moving, and he adapted to it quickly. The bad news was that it had been over an hour and not one of the staff had returned. He couldn't keep these kids safe forever; sooner or later he'd tire. He needed to find a way to get them out of here......

"It's okay sweetie just look away"


Phoenix drew his sword as he held the little girl with one arm. With a fire in his eyes cut down every zombie in his path as the torch slowly died

The little girl coughed and turned her head away muttering " My tummy hurts "


Rhin kicked at the zombie coming at her from the side and yelled as the zombie behind he r jerked her by her hair again. Pinning fb the zombie to the side down she kicked its skull in and used the wall to flip o be r the zombie behind her and spin around grabbing it by its hair she rammed it headfirst into the wall. With a cry of pain, she got clumsily slashed at by a zombie with a dagger. Rhin worked around and only felt the dagger lodge itself in her side, she grunted and dispatched the zombie now bleeding from a shallow cut in her back as she pulled the dagger from her gut. A zombie crawling on the floor grabbed her by her ankles and pulled her towards at do it, she squeaked as she fell and her skull cracked against the ground she was temporarily stunned and the zombie clawed are her boots to get to her flesh.


The little girl coughed again and whined reaching to the bite she sucked in a sharp breath and closed her eyes, the skin around the wound was starting to turn black

Phoenix finished of the zombies in front and turned to help Rhin, then the little girl turned ice cold. Phoenix placed the little girl down and slowly stabbed her in the side of the head. He slowly stood up, blinding rage and tears in his eyes. He dashed towards Rhin and severed three heads in a single stroke.

Rhin kicked at the zombie on her legs till she beat its face in and scrambled to get up she shook her head to clear her vision and popped right back up she spun and got behind Phoenix she pressed her shoulders against his to make him move forwards as she dispatched a zombie that was coming from behind him. Once the last one was dead she was breathing hard and blood soaked the back of her head, her back and her gut, looking around her feet she winced a bit " Well that was fun " she chuckled soft Let and winced again then joked " At least they didn't get the face " she was still in shock

He said as he wiped away his tears

Rhin stayed where she as, she was shaking and swallowed " I can't move " she whispered, her knees had licked up and she still had her fists clenched. Suddenly her knees buckled and she collapsed, with a shaking hand her applied pressure to the wound on her gut, her head throbbed and the cut on her back only got bigger as she leaned forwards so there wasn't as much strain on her front wound
