" Hey! I'm almost nineteen! My birthday isn't that far away " Rhin said then added " though I don't know what day it is... " she looked away thinking then looked back to Phoenix " Plus you act like your sixty " she quickly tickled him and dashed away giggling

He said as he followed behind Rhin

Rhin looked to him and tilted her head " Really? Your that young....? " she hadn't known and thought about what day it was and she paused then furrowed her eyebrows and put her hands on her his " Man! My birthday was yesterday! "

"Hmm not the best birthday you've ever had"


He said as he climbed out the window and onto the roof

Rhin sighed " Exactly " she followed him " I didn't even get to celebrate " she frowned

Phoenix reached into his coat and pulled out a long small box and handed it to Rhin


"Here, I was going to give it to my wife but...you know"

Alex walks up stairs and goes in to the first bedroom. She marveled at how nice it was a large bed with fluffy pillows in the center of the room with a window on each side of it. she looked to the right to see a makeup table and a closet. Perfect! Alex ran to the closet and started throwing clothes, bags, and shoes out left and right she finally found a leather bag meant for men. Alex pulled it up smiling "this will do nicely" she opened the bag and put her jacket in it and then went down stairs and grabbed some rations and put them in the bag also. Alex then walked into the the living room and sat on the couch looking out a window at the Zombies. "I can't believe its come to this...heh what if I see good old dad fumbling around with those things." Alex said in hateful but sarcastic way. " well I guess it would be my turn then to kill him..." She looked at them again with disgust in her eyes.

Rhin blinked and shook her head " You don't have to do that " she said softly not wanting him to feel sad about it or give something away that was for someone special " It you where going to give it to your wife then you keep it... I'm only turning nineteen its not that important "

Phoenix shruged as he put the box back in his coat


"Let's go check out the wall while we wait for the others"

Rhin actually was curious to know what was in the box but didn't say anything as she dashed towards the all jumping from roof to roof

Evan came back into the kitchen to find everyone gone. "Oh well we still gotta wait for Tyr anyway."

Phoenix and Rhin stopped on a roof over looking the Plaza at the main gate


"That's not good"


Phoenix said aloud as he looked down at a sea of zombies

Alex hears Evan in the other room "Hey Evan I'm still here!"

"oh ok... ill be here if you need anything..." He called back.

"I don't think ari has anything to distract that crowd, you going any ideas kid"


He asked as he turned to look at Rhin

Anastasia sat on a roof, the sun beat down over head and sge idly watched zombies scuffle around like dazed drunks. She laughed under her breath at them, it was a short and abrupt noise that soon let her face relax to its normal monotone state.

Phoenix said as he looked passed Rhin


"Is that another survivor from the school"

Anastasia swung her legs over the side of the building and watched quietly. Only did she glance up when the feeling of being watched didn't leave, her emerald green eyes locked with that of Phoenix's.

"Rhin does that girl look familiar to you is she from the school"

Rhin was a bit distracted with tainting a zombie and she blinked when Phoenix mentioned a girl she looked over and shrugged " I don't know " she stood up tall and waved calling " Hello! Friend or Foe?! " then she laughed " Hey that rhymed! " she had a big smile on her face

Phoenix turned his head to see the bell tower and saw someone sitting at the top


"Why am finding survivors left and right"


Phoenix waved his arm towards the bell tower
