Hello. I have never role played before but I would love to try. I like the idea of getting to escape my reality for a bit and getting to create someone and be as someone different... or similar to myself. You could be my teacher. Show me everything you know. Inspire me to rp. I'm ready.
 
I will admit that I completely panicked and went "Do I have the ability to teach someone? Make it enjoyable? Oh geez, oh geez..."

Either way, welcome to RPN, here you can make your imagination into a creation! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Personally willing to help in any way needed!

Welcome! Welcome, PseudoHappyGirl. Roleplaying is decently easily once you get the basics. You will be good to go since there are many people here that are willing to help. I will help if you need. I am new to the site but not new to roleplaying at all.
I would say try and find your own inspiration on what type of genres you would enjoy and find the style of rp you are comfortable with.

i will definitely have a look around and see what calls to me. I just want to be a good partner. Thank you for the advice!

You're a junkie! i bet you'd be a great teacher. seems like you have a passion for role playing! Thank you for your offer to help me get started!

Then a plate of Filet Mignon appeared on the table, and a bottle of white wine began to float, along with the glass, as the glass was set on the table, and the white wine bottle filled the glass, before floating back down and setting itself on the table, then a white cloth napkin and a fork appeared to the left of the plate, and a spoon and a steak knife to the right* Enjoy, like I said... If there’s any advice I can offer, it’s to have fun! RPing is no different than writing a story! If you enjoy writing stories you should become good at roleplaying very quickly. As long as you’re enjoying yourself, you will make a great RP partner!

So yeah, don’t worry. As long as you do that, you’ll be fine. :3
 
Well. I can admit I could certainly try to teach, although I am fairly uncertain of how. Mew had a good point of "It's basically writing," but hm.
