I didn't really wanna make rules, so I'm just going to explain some things about me as a roleplayer/my character instead. Even though i got some genre's down there I do any kind.


Akira does not have any backstory solely for the reason that I more or less can fit her into different time periods, settings and genres. In my opinion it makes for interesting stories with other roleplayers and gives me creative freedom. I know this must frustrate some of you and I apologize for that, but I still won't be giving her any backstory. I want everyone to know that I don't like drama, I came here to escape that. . As for Akira's relation status, whatever happens in roleplayers stays in those roleplayers, I rather keep her single and not attratched to one person. (Subject to change with consent of both myself and other roleplayer.) I also become busy in real life, so understand that there will be times I disappear, but I'll let you all know if that happens. I hope you enjoy your time roleplaying and chatting with me.

This is just me spitballing, but surely you could come up with at least a basic structure of Akira's background that shapes her motives and personality while keeping her application across genres universal, right? Whether you're in a futuristic or fantasy based RP, dudes still have parents, childhoods, and such shenanigans.

I get the appeal of having having one malleable OC, I have one myself I made a while back that I'd just love to plug into every RP I join, but it just doesn't really click in a community filled with people who strain time and effort into their characters to make them interesting and unique vehicles to explore whole new worlds.

That's not to say that you can't roleplay as a signature character, but man are you gonna have a hard time finding like-minded players on this particular site.
