The World as we know it.
This story takes place in a dimension parallel to our own, in which there are many similarities. One key difference is the presence of magic and magic beings. Simple magic is used as commonly as simple sciences are in our world. You can find it providing light, warmth, in tools or personal items, as entertainment, in medicines, and as aid of communication and transportation. Though it is present and common place for the most part, there are only a few born with the natural ability to wield it, these are listed below.
Like our world there are many countries and cultures within it, along with races and species. There is only one continent surrounded by an enormous ocean, though many adventurers have claimed to discover islands off at sea. There are 4 main regions in this world all with their own unique governments and cultures. These are listed below the classification of magic wielders.
Classes
Bloodline or heir
*born with natural magic of specific type.
*not everyone in the family will become an heir.
*most families with a magical bloodline are royalty or nobility.
*often considered strongest magic wielders. (debatable)
*usually given formal training from other heirs of the same line.
Sorcerer
*is just born with an ability or two.
*can have non magic parents.
*does not usually receive training as every sorcerer is unique in power and how it is controlled.
Wizards(can be specialty based or general pick one of the sub classes)
*has magic energy naturally but is unable to use it without spells, staff or wand, or a control device of some sort.
*usually receives formal training.
*has many subclasses.
~Dobatsu or tamer
*has magical energy that resonates with animals.
*sometimes possesses very animal like qualities and quirks.
*is a subclass of wizards.
~Healer or Shaman
*specializes in healing of the body, mind, or soul.
*is a subclass of wizards.
~Yoso or elemental
*specializes in spells pertaining to one of the elements.
*can still use other spells but is best at their chosen element.

~Alchemist
*uses magical items, herbs, liquids, and substances to create potions, powders, and weapons.
*often isn't present in tactical combat scenarios.

Komas or cursed
*has been embedded with magic or a magical stone which allows them to manipulate objects around them.
*not exclusively cursed per say, but usually prejudiced against.
*not often given formal training.
Ken or Meister
*is a non magical being who wields a magic tool or weapon.
*often is regarded as unpowerful or silly.
*does not often receive formal training.
The 4 main regions
Kandome
*Is a royal hierarchy
*is ruled by a main king with many sub kingdoms
*all royalty are bloodline wielders
*all sub kingdoms are related distantly to main royal family
*the capital is the highest city with the wealthiest residents
*many cities, towns, and villages reside here
*has a slight class system
*second largest region
*eastern most region
*often at war with Tetsu.
Tetsu
*also a royal hierarchy
*ruled exclusively by king
*king and nobles are all bloodline wielders
*very harsh class system
*has mostly large cities close together
*smallest region in area, heavily populated
*north western region
*often at war with Kadome.
Kongomono
*Does not have any one ruler
*has many states within its border
*every state has its own government
*is populated by mostly non magical people but is not unwelcome to wielders
*third largest region in size
*often unassociated in the quarrels of Kandome and Tetsu
*states often very divided, has many internal issues
*southern region.
Sarano or no mans land
*is a lawless region
*the area that separates all other regions
*has very few scattered villages and towns
*is a safe haven for many discriminated wielders
*has many various climates and terrains
*is often place of many battles between warring countries
