Or maybe it's because Lara felt a connection.

Lara knew the reason for this field was the destruction of Energenetics, as did everyone else in the city. But nobody pointed fingers to anyone, simply because the Streaker who did it was...likable. To some people, at least. Lara was even content with the destruction of Energenetics. It just didn't have to go...that way.
Lara frowned and quickly thought about The Boot question. "I have no idea. All I know is that he just...destroyed HPD." Lara put her hands over her face. "Do you have any thoughts about them? Energenetics or The Boot?"

Lara sighed. "I used to think The Boot had the right idea. Now he's just...bad. Did you ever see footage about him? I heard he can crack buildings open with his foot. That's scary." Lara rolled over and looked at Clark, her eyes returning to their original yellow with an orange ring color. Seems that bright light made her more content. "It's very brave of you to fight the mafia, Clark. I just spend my life running from them and stealing from them."
Lara didn't realize today was the first day she had actually fought the mafia by blasting them. She just thought she was still doing it to escape, or steal from them.

If things keep up like this then there will be no city left to protect. Without a city then The Boot will move on to the neighboring cities such as Sanfield." The wounds on her flesh were old and healed mostly, leaving small marks only at impact sites. Most were bullet wounds. "Have you ever wondered what happened to the Streakers after she escaped?"

He was a huge man at about 6'7, and simply lifted him up with one hand to the face to match his. "Prove. Your. Metal." Boss put Yang down and pointed to three pigeons flitting around in the air. "I will show you my boss the day you can shoot those pigeons." The Boss handed Yang a bow with two arrows. "Two arrows, three pigeons. You cannot kill any pigeon, and you must retrieve pigeon after you're done."
