"You're my hero. You're Sanfield's hero." Anella uncurled and flopped away to the shower again. She'd eat after a shower. This time, she accidentally messed up the temperature. 'It's Satan's butthole!!!!' Anella quickly fumbled the shower, freezing herself again before getting it right. "Jeez."

"Wow." The explosion Kirsty was a part of went down differently. The video file was with the Sanfield Police department about how she escaped. It involved her using energized light to tear open the bowels of Energenetics, then she somehow tore the particle accelerator that powered it. It was probably the loudest thing she'd ever heard. Most of all, it was a planned escape. "If you guys didn't escape, what were you planning on doing?" Kirsty removed the tapes as the carrier shifted. "We should get going. It's time I faced Sanfield."

Ray got a message from her robot about how it needed to charge. "I must leave!" She yelled running off and into her suit, she flew out but it soon ran out of fuel and caused Ray to go through a building but thankfully through a window. "Stuck the landing!" She said doing a arm pump, she didn't notice the shower happening right behind her.

Anella yelped and leapt five feet into the air, hitting her head on the ceiling and falling back down on the floor tiles. "Ow-RAY?!" Anella saw Soldier as she stood up, stepping out of the shower. "What are you doing here? I'm in the middle of something!"

"Drag you around?" Kirsty picked up Threat bridal style. "I'm better off doing this." She kissed Threat on the nose before zooming off. It was two hundred miles to Sanfield, so she'd make the most of it. Practicing arms-free vortex flight took her about half a mile at per jump, but slowly got better by the fiftieth mile, at which she could actually maintain several meters above the ground for nearly a mile. Kirsty only knew she wasn't really flying, more like it was a leap with great speed and directional control.
When Kirsty and Threat finally got to Sanfield, Kirsty landed from about seven meters above the ground, sliding to a stop on the side opposite the ocean. There, Kirsty would leap onto a rooftop and just do plain old running. Vortex flight was draining, tiring, and made her especially vulnerable since she couldn't condense while she did so.

Immediately, she stopped running and lay Threat on the rooftop. Kirsty got on her knees and held her wrists out, ready to be handcuffed without saying a word.

Threat grabbed her "I love you," he said kissing her on the mouth, his eyes and the lines across his face glowed. He released her as a tear rolled down his cheek "I always will love you," he said before slowly walking away.
