For now, we should go find a nice bench or a motel room to sleep at for the night. It's getting late." I stood up and held my hand out for Lightning to hold. "It's not like I have anywhere to go, and I shouldn't be out in the streets alone."

Brendan took the punch pretty well, since he was in peak human condition. He only grimaced a little before turning back to Owen. "Gravity's a pain? You tell me." Brendan created a gravity field from his foot as he aimed a kick at the side of Owen's leg. It was similar to a gravitated punch, but with his foot.

She looks much like Harmony, they are twins... Born only seconds apart on new years making her technically one year older. People seem to magically drop dead in the streets. Kirsty and lighting are nearby, she looks exactly like Harmony and purple particles visible in UV

Lightning leapt up and her hands crackled. Suddenly she clenched them and the burnt outer flesh shattered and fell off, revealing raw pink new skin. She looked surprised, and said "That is faster than usual. Usually skin that burnt takes at least a day or two to recover." Then she shrugged and took the proffered hand gingerly. She shivered, "I would appreciate that. The memory of him haunts me to this day. As to sleeping I do not have any money, but I do have an expanding tent in there." She points to a small waterproof backpack on her back(It has a compact, but expanding tent it). Then she said, "I certainly appreciate the help. My powers are more or less exhausted at this point. I think I could about manage a slight breeze without losing consciousness."JPax42 said:

However, my perception was normal as the bag dropped with an unsatisfying thump. Apparently, outrunning an explosion takes a toll on your mind and body. I just decided to try to set up the tent by hand. "So, uh, Lightning...what do you do in Sanfield?"

Brendan stepped forward and went to lift Owen. If he wasn't interrupted too much, he would then proceed to throw him off the rooftop. The gravity was paining, but it was the key advantage Brendan had over Owen.

Lightning smiled and said, "Thank you. As to what I do here," She flinches slightly, "well I guess I do a crap job heroing. It feels longer to me, but I have only been in the city for a few days. It has not been going very well, but I came here to try to be a hero like my parents. My moms are Blue Panther and Black Canary(Part of the last generation of Powers, retired a couple decades ago. Might be known, but more as names than anything else). So far I have been involved in an incident that killed hundred of people at the white house, nearly gotten a bunch of police officers killed, and accidentally killed two GLASS soldiers. Now I have killed as many as millions of GLASS personnel by taking down that carrier, but that had to be done." She sighed and looked conflicted, "I guess I just have to hope that I can redeem myself throughout the rest of my life." She leaned back and laughed, "I have been in Sanfield for hardly more than a few days and I have nearly died no less than four times. I have not even found a place to live yet!" Then she turned to Kirsty and said, "What about you? What do you do?" (as to the tent it expands when the backpack is opened and is a two person tent, containing two air pads for sleeping on, and pouches in the walls. It expands fast, but not instantly)JPax42 said:

2 grabbed the others and flew into the sky, no longer caring if the war was still ragging. He split and fell to the ground, a crater could be seen from Threat and Peace.
Boom! saw himself falling through the sky "God what should I-" he was stopped by his jacket getting caught on a poll. He went into the building and climbed down "Thank you god!" He said to the sky, he waved before walking around the city.
Soldier looked down as she fell "¡Mierda!" She yelled falling to the ground with a slam, one of her hands pressed on the ground. She got up and looked around "En realidad, eso fue todo .... triste," The Soldier said removing her mask to reveal herself to be a small child. "So hot! I need to put something to cool me down in there," Ray said walking in a random direction.

Instead I just lay down outside, feeling over the torn places on my shirt from the carrier explosion. "I just uh...go from place to place, trying to earn money. I just have superpowers, but I'm no super hero. If I see someone getting mugged I'll do something about it, but I don't really...I just...wanted a place to live." I looked up at the sky and then looked at my GLASS badge. It meant nothing to me now. I crushed it with my hand into a fine powder and vaporized it with my eyes. I felt warm tears fall down the side of my face.

meanwhile hours after the carriers fell, soldiers were patrolling the city to clean up what's left, with the other nations soldier going back home, the numbers are now only 89 million of whats left, over 53 million men and women died in the war. hours after the carrier fell, they found genji, well what's left of him... his right arm was ripped off with his wakizashi missing, the dragonblade is still intact but he also doesnt have a left leg anymore. the helmet was missing chunks of it with the lights of the armor not functioning properly. blood was actually coming out of the helmet and with that, genji was put to a strecher. ambulance couldnt pass the wreckage and rubble so they carried him by a strecher out of sanfield to the neighbouring city for immediate medical attention. they saw a tent in the outskirts of sanfield and went in to see if they can find help. they went in the tent with genji's body outside. the men were only four of the elites, well what was left of the elites... they wore normal clone trooper armor with slight variations and color marking "we are terribly sorry for entering without permission, but we need to request of your assistance" he commander of the elites said @JPax42 @Abberakelaran

Lightning watched Kirsty heard Kirsty start to cry and froze up for a moment. Then she moved over and grabbed her hand lying down next to her. Then she quietly said, "I am perhaps a bit simpler. My parents were heroes and I have always wanted to be like them." She squeezed her hand, "You can find something to be. You certainly seem to have a certain flare for heroics, but ultimately it is all up to you. You could even not use your powers and be normal, you should just find something that makes you happy. Personally I could never be anything else, not the least of which because I am not exactly human looking."JPax42 said:

The puppet master forced Harmony to teleport Nick and himself to the city, making her dawn the mask and cloak they went out. "Nick, stay here if you don't want to be hurt. This isn't a threat, it is a warning," he said in a low voice. Forcing Peace to teleport into the city with the mask still on he patted her head "Sorry caretaker, now find victims but be sneaky, I don't want us to be hurt. Also remember your name, who are you," he said loosing the hold he had on her, controlling her mind on a non-existent leash.

(@JPax42 sorry about the delay on that post I switched over to laptop. also with your next scene what we could do is have our chars go into the tent to sleep, and then have them wake up to Salex's post the next one after that?)
