(( Maybe we could all write kind of an "introduction" thing, like, we could all be in the town at once, and worm our way until our characters meet up?// or something yeah. That's usually how other roleplays do it :P ))

[Oh, okay!]

Akari stepped out of her office and into the fresh air of the outside world for the first time in what seemed like a year.

She then felt the need to go back inside.

"You know, I kind of hate summer." She said to no one in particular, shielding her eyes from the blazing sun.

The degrees were in the hundreds, and heat wasn't exactly her strong forte. In addition, she was wearing a dark colored hoodie, and didn't feel like taking it off.

"I can't go back inside. My break doesn't end for three hours."

Her breaks were long, but few and far between, especially when serial killers were this elusive and killed this many people.

How many murders can one person pull off, I wonder? It's a pain. I don't really feel like experiencing anyone else's death this week.

Akari put up her hood and walked down the street, intending to enter the first place she could find with food and air conditioning.

Yukki, after running away from her second home away from those men who tried to take her away, she felt rather bad that she left her sister behind but she didn't want Akki to be in danger too.

Her fast speed took her to the nearest town which was rather far but was perfect to stay for a little while,
This will be fine for now...I wish I knew where I was but I can't go back now Yukki sighed. She walked along the shade of the trees, she didn't want to go to sunlight and be seen. So she sat down under a shady tree and rested while watching the people walk along the streets and sidewalk with her bright green eyes.

"Aaaah, dammit!"

She'd lived in that city for a year, and still couldn't understand how to make her way around the bustling streets. She could get to her apartment, the convenience store, and her office, and that was about it. After spending about half an hour in said convenience store, she bought some food and wandered around, looking for a cool spot to hang out in for a while.

She found one.

But there was someone there.

Akari proceeded to unconsciously glare at the person while wondering where to go next.

She noticed that somebody was watching her but she didn't want make eye contact, I'm sorry.....um is this your spot? Yukki asked sorta afraid as if she was in trouble she stands up and moves aside

She was pulled out of her train of thought, and glanced, a little surprised, at the person addressing her.

"Hnn?" Akari wasn't paying attention, so it took her a few moments to realize what she said.

"Oh, no. Sorry. I'm just a little lost."

Oh...where you heading? She asked as soon as she thought that. As if she knows where things are here, she doesn't even know where she is, but at least she could try and remembered what she ran by, but with very fast speed almost everything was a blur.

"Someplace cool. Nowhere in particular."

The grocery bag was weighing down her palm.

I could always go back to my apartment. It would save me some time.

"But... I think I'll just head back home."

Akari bowed her head in apology and turned to walk back to where she lived. She could at least remember the way she came.

She stares as the person walks off almost confused she thought, At least I didn't make too much of a fool of myself She walks deeper to the forest hoping to look for shelter, at least an abandoned shed would be fine. Sadly she didn't find anything but trees so she goes off to the streets but she didn't realize that her eyes turned red again from the darker forest and she burned her cheek and ran under the tree again, Darn did I forgot to turn my eyes green She looked around hoping that no one saw and made her eyes green again. She hid deeper to the woods from people seeing her.

She walked past a number of people, thinking.

There was something very familiar about that girl.

It bothered her that she couldn't put her finger on it, seeing as it seemed really important, and something that pertained to her, somehow-

Red eyes.

Shocked, she tripped and ended up falling into the person in front of her.

"-ah-"

Yukki, holding her right cheek as it started to heal and she felt even more afraid to go out there, she has to be more careful so that no one can discover her secret like the last place did. She is way too tired to go on exploring so she makes herself comfortable inside a bush and lays down and falls asleep.

Kylen was walking around the bustling town, avoiding any possible chance of conversation. He pulls over his hoodie, as far as it could go, hiding his identity. He stares at the ground, concealing himself as much as possible. He knew that if someone recognized him, it could mean trouble. After all, some of the guards were undercover, and he wouldn't like to take that risk.

As he was going over to the market area, he bumps into someone. Or something. Either way, he knew he was basically inviting the guards to come over. Kylen would not want to create any commotion that would startle the public. He softly mumbles "Sorry", and shuffles away.

Having momentarily forgotten about the red eyed girl, Akari spun around and grabbed the boy's arm with her free right hand.

He was cool, so he'd probably come out of a place with air conditioning. And he seemed to know his way around. And she didn't feel like going back home, because her apartment was overrun with paperwork.

"Wait a second, please."

Kylen froze in his tracks. No, literally, he was so shocked that a very thin layer of frost covered himself. He awkwardly looks at the woman, avoiding eye contact.

"Y-Yes? I-Is there something you need...?" He was almost shivering from anxiety.

"Goddammit! Not again!" She murmured to herself, a bit louder than she had intended, releasing her grip on his arm. It was imperative that she apprehend the red-eyed girl, but she had forgotten and bothered the poor kid she bumped into.

Speaking of the poor kid, he seemed ready to break down.

"Ah. Are you o-" That was a bad question. He was obviously not okay.

She sighed and clapped him on the shoulder, deciding to just make a joke and walk away, back to the area she was at before.

"Don't look so suspicious when running from authorities. "

After some time footsteps woke Yukki up, she sat up stretching as if she's been sleeping for hours...when it was really 30 minutes. Her vampire instincts already told her that someone was near and she was hungry for blood. It's too early to be hungry....it's still daylight I can't She thought as she peeked out from the woods hoping that everything's normal Everything's ok but why am I feeling so weird

Akari stalked down the sidewalk she came, feeling like an idiot. At least she didn't get very far before bumping into that boy.

Re-entering the forested area, she set down her groceries and took the glove off of her left hand, clicking her tongue and rubbing the red mark the plastic bag had indented.

She then began to scan the place, hoping the girl hadn't left.

Oh.

She was right there.

"Saves me the trouble of looking for you, huh?"
