IC Thread-The Story

Aster approaches Yontle and debates her in a low tone. "You sure you don't want me looking for them? I'd hate to give up time with Myka, but I'm used to navigating dark and murky water..."


(I could use some sleep too. I'll probs be here 5-10 more minutes. Night.)

"Go spend time with Myka & I'll see if Jian's a monster too!" Yondle whispered back
 
Jian returns from the spirit world. Her mind went into panic as she started to think about the others. She was under for a long time, how could she play it off? She let her body go limp as she floated to the top, pretending that she had drowned.

(If there isn't anyone around) "C'mon Jian, I know your not human so don't play that up, people will think your suicidal"


(if people are around)  Yontle waited for others to go away as she didn't know what creature Jian could possibly be & didn't want to freighten the nearby humans
 
Jian peaks up above the water to look at Yontle before puting her head back under in defeat. She emerges from the water, head low. She looks up at Yontle, "why doesn't this bother you? Most humans who find out react a lot different than you." Her eyes focuses on Yontle using her spirit energy to scan her. "That's why." Yontle emitted a strong energy  and under Jian's dragon eyes she could see her true form.

(Sorry! I'm moving today and didn't get a chance to look here)


Myka runs up the stairs, and closes her door a little too hard behind her. She peels off her wet clothing, throwing them into the corner with a loud sloshing sound. She quickly finds a flowy purple dress and throws it on, skipping back out of her room out down the stairs. "I'm ready! And nice outfit!" She smiles, seeing Aster's all black ensemble.

Aster gets up, their face just a little pink. "Thanks." They start heading towards the door. "Back to the park?"
