Sleepless Gamer
Graeme Grove "Shouldn't Ayden be back by now?" Max and Graeme looked toward eachother, and Max knew what Graeme was thinking. "Dude, do you really want to get caught by the Red Thorns again? Remember last time that happened?" Graeme nodded, "I beat up four guys, two of which are now in jail. I'd say it was a win." Max laughed, "Yeah, because three broken ribs, a black eye, and internal bleeding is a victory. Okay Graeme, how are you not dead yet?" Graeme shrugged, "I'm Irish. I don't know, maybe it's because they just suck at killing people." Graeme got up from the couch and headed to the door. "Seriously though, he'd have left this morning, and he should be back by now. Something is up." Graeme knew that Max had the same suspicion, cause y'know, several minutes of utter silence from a normally social person isn't a red flag.
Before she could say no, Graeme was halfway out the door. "Wait, Graeme, are you sure you want to do this without any of the others?" Graeme shrugged, "Why not? I'll be fine. I promise to bring back Ayden in one piece too. It's not like he could have gotten himself into that much trouble right?" Max shook her head, "You're insane you know that? Go get Ayden..." As Graeme mounted his bike and turned it on, he looked back at Max. "Don't worry... what's the worst that could happen?"
As he rode down the streets, he kept watch for people. Going into the territory of the Red Thorns meant that he couldn't trust anyone, especially since all the gangs in Seaside knew him by name and title. Graeme of The Royals, King of Fighters. It didn't take long before he had earned that title. He often fought several gang members at once, typically being ambushed, and yet came out on top. Some believed he was ex-spec ops, which was impossible for his young age, but others believed he was part of some darker organization, a super soldier of sorts. Rumors were rumors, but they didn't stop the Red Thorns from trying to beat him at least once.
What's the worst that could happen? Graeme
Leon Kensen Leon smiled at her comment of him being ranked one in their little side project of theirs. "What can I say, I've got style you can't even match." He gave a momentary chuckle. "Anyway, I'll leave the keys in the usual spot so you can open up shop tomorrow." Leon prepared another drink for one of the customers at the counter, and continued on with work as Kira left.
His life was nothing extravagant as he believed Kira's to be. Nor was it as boring as some office worker. He was simply a bartender with more stories than he'd ever need, simply waiting to told should they be needed for a purpose. Some believed that he had something to hide, which was wrong as much as he'd wished there were something more. Then again, he couldn't see himself running some crazy life. In fact, he felt right at home where he was. A third party to everyone's crazy lives, watching from the sidelines until he feels he has to interject.
As if his thoughts were being read by some higher power, a familiar red haired woman walked in. Her classy dress style making her the object of people's attention at the time. She had stopped by many times before, and she had quite the interesting tales to tell. Especially of this Graeme individual, he seemed to be quite the urban legend. A story almost always followed the girl. "Max, long time no see. How's the gang?"
Violetti (Kira)What can I say, I've got style you can't even match. Leon
Maxine Moran "Shouldn't Ayden be back by now?" Max and Graeme looked toward eachother, and Max knew what Graeme was thinking. "Dude, do you really want to get caught by the Red Thorns again? Remember last time that happened?" Graeme nodded, "I beat up four guys, two of which are now in jail. I'd say it was a win." I don't know, maybe it's because they just suck at killing people." Graeme got up from the couch and headed to the door. "Seriously though, he'd have left this morning, and he should be back by now. Something is up." Max had been worried about where Ayden was, and she could tell that Graeme knew it before she wanted to admit it.
Seeing as there was no use trying to talk him out of it. She watched as Graeme left on his bike to find Ayden, and most likely fight a group of Red Thorns. She didn't care much for the thoughts to get to her, so she'd figured she'd go see an old friend. Leon. Mounting onto her own bike, she rode off in the direction of the Dierfiur Bar. The name struck her as intriguing, since it's translated name was the Sister Bar. Did Leon know that? Perhaps he did, and that's why he took such good care of it, or perhaps he was unaware and simply took pride of owning the place. Regardless, she had almost always gone there since it reminded her of her homes in Ireland and Scotland.
As she entered the bar, it was crowded, as to be expected by this hour. She could tell that Leon had been hard at work, as well as his employees. Although she was a barmaid herself most nights, she wished she could work here instead. Perhaps she'd discuss it with Leon tonight. "Max, long time no see. How's the gang?"
Violetti (Kira - Mentioned)Yeah, because three broken ribs, a black eye, and internal bleeding is a victory. Max
Tachibana Yuna Content with her drink, Tachibana wandered off to see what else there was to do. She left Ellie to ponder the choice of checking out the new bar, and she was fairly certain she'd make an appearance, even if it was just for a short while. Following the direction of the paparazzi, she slipped into one of the elevators and pressed every. Single. Button. Perhaps she'd run into entertainment on the way up.
Eventually she hit a floor, and was about to continue to the next floor, but heard the elevator ding of one of the other elevators. Slipping out, she waited for the other elevator to appear and open. "Good evening everyone!" She recognized none of them, probably celebrities from the paparazzi in the lobby, so she definitely didn't know them. She'd heard about a few of the celebrities that lived here, but hardly bothered with them as they often became boring to be around. Looking over the two boys, she noticed the not so pale one seemed to be nervous ever so slightly. "What's wrong with you? Frog stuck in your throat, or have you never seen a cute girl?" She giggled. He would be her temporary plaything. Someone to mess with to get some entertainment. Taking a sip from her tropical drink, she waited to see just how they'd react to her sudden appearance.
Violetti (Saren) spookie (Spook) fin (Aubrey)What's wrong with you? Yuna
Araya Natsume Ari was glad she wasn't hurt, or her cat. "I'm Araya Natsume, most people just call me Ari." Meant to be? What did she mean by that? Then she continued, mentioning the rice balls in his pocket. Wait, how did she know he had food on him? Pulling out the container, he opened the lid to see that they were in fact okay. Who was this Genevieve girl? "Looks like they're fine... would you like one? They're freshly made, or at least since the past hour or so."
As much as this Genevieve was strange, she was also interesting. It wasn't often that he ran into people with as uniquely colored hair as his own, plus she seemed to know things before Ari did. "So um... do you mind me asking... how did you know I had rice balls with me?" He was certain his thick coat should have concealed any evidence of him having anything with him, and rice balls didn't exactly have a smell to them. Perhaps the container was sticking out of his pocket? He was lost in lyrics after all. Maybe he missed something she noticed.
AgWordSmith (Genevieve)I'm Araya Natsume, most people just call me Ari. Ari
