Valkyrie floated as calmly as could be when Pyro approached and started yelling at her.

When he finished, she wiped a bit of his saliva off her face.

"If you're quite finished, you do not get to tell me what I can and cannot do with the assets at my disposal." She said calmly.

"You and your crew mean nothing to me. We received a distress signal from a group of Saiyans whom I happen to know, and I refuse to abandon them to their fate because they do mean something to me. Your ship was the most convenient asset at my disposal to reach them, so I took command of it to ensure we reached this place in time to help."

She then partially turned her back to him, but still looked at him over her shoulder.

"If you want to throw a temper tantrum like a child who had his favorite toy taken from him without his permission, then do so with someone who cares. I have work to do now protecting those of my comrades who are still alive and sending these vermin to meet their maker."

She fired a Ki blast over and past Pyro's shoulder, vaporizing an enemy who had followed him and was rushing him from behind. It wasn't that Pyro needed help. It was because Valkyrie was in a killing mood.

"Give me a reason to transform, Frost Demon... I dare you." She growled over her shoulder before turning and flying away towards the battle to begin making good on her promise to Fae to wipe them out before the turn of the hour.

Pyro started clenching his fist tightly as Valkyrie started talking and calling his men and ship just assets. She talks about protect her comrades... But aperntly gives little care to own in the end... Dirty monleys are all brawl and no brain in the end... Pyro thought to himself getting more angry. "You dirty little monkey... Two things, one if you ever do this again and it endangers MY comrades I will put my tail through your heart before you can even transform. And two I will get more powerful then your little super monley form and I will kill then and there..." Pyro said fully meaning evry word he said. Then flew to a nearby hill and decide to just watch the fighting. The dirty monkey can deal with her own comrades enemies... Lets see if she can really protect them in the end... Pyro thought standing sttaight up and watching the battle. Any enemy that came near him turned ad flew away quick after Pyro simple gave them a death glare.

Valkyrie bolted to the center of the battlefield where she decided that it would be a good idea to get all of the enemy's attention. She powered up, letting her aura flare out all around her in a similar fashion as it had when she was first taking to her Super Saiyan form. The aura grew to massive proportions, being almost 100m in circumference and letting off a lot of heat.

The tactic got everyone's attention, and she then let the aura shrink to a normal size before she rapidly blasted a handful of the enemies out of existence to show her allegiance. The rest of the humans and their allies quickly backed off and started retreating from the field while the rest of the enemies began to pour in around her. Either they had no power sensing devices, or they couldn't sense power levels and thus didn't know how strong she was.

The fight was a sweep for Valkyrie.

She barely had to put in any effort in erasing these vermin from existence, and she did so without mercy. The stronger among them she decided to beat down a bit before their demise, but they all perished before her power in the end. It only took her a handful of minutes to make her point and drive them out. Those who saw an opportunity retreated trying to get to their ships to escape the planet with their lives in tact, but to no avail. Valkyrie blasted each ship which took off killing everyone aboard before at last the battlefield went silent.

She let out a breath of irritation before cracking her neck and taking off and honing in on Fae's power, or what was left of it, and landing beside her and observing for the first time the damage that Faero had taken in the battle losing his arm. Val clenched her fists at her sides and dipped her head slightly with her eyes closed. It was never a pleasant thing to see a comrade in such a state, and it was made even worse by the Saiyan's pride. Val opened her eyes and let out a soft sigh as she looked down to Fae and Faero.

"The battle is over, and the area secure... You're safe for now." She said quietly.

Fae nodded and helped the doctors gather her brother and the other survivors around them. Valkyrie suggested taking them on board Pyro's ship, as it was actually in tact and would provide much better medical accommodations than any of the wrecks still on this planet. The one Rejuvenation Chamber with its occupant was carefully removed and given a portable power supply to help transport it onto the ship, and once everyone was loaded up the ship was locked down and remained on the planet at Valkyrie's insistence.

Pyro had a few choice words for Valkyrie given her recommended course of action, once again essentially hijacking his ship for her own purposes, but after a brief spat she won out with her point that now that her comrades were out of danger they could go back to the ship's last logged coordinates to pick up those among his crew who'd been left behind when she hijacked the vessel to get here.

He could pick up the rest of his crew, and Valkyrie knew that her comrades were safe. Win-win.

Ultimately it was a tense time on board the ship though thanks to Valkyrie's actions. Fae and the others were moved to the Medical Wing and put in the same room as Era, who was currently unconscious in her own Rejuvenation Chamber, and Valkyrie went back to her room to rest. She stayed away from Pyro to give him space to cool off, and hopefully when she woke up Fae would be in a better condition to talk about what had happened.

For now though, it was time for everyone to rest after all of that excitement.

Fae was was... better than she was. She woke up stiff and sore. Breathing hurt a bit. She probably should not be getting up right now. Sitting up in the bed, she looked down at her body. She looked better than she felt. With an audible groan she turned to put her feet on the floor and rested her elbows on her knees. It was a fairly surreal feeling... though it was likely because she was just waking up. However, thinking back to the monstrous powers that she witness, it was hard not to think she had been dreaming. She knew she wasnt. It was indeed Valkyrie...but there was also the nephelem and the frost demon. Each of them more powerful than she thought would be possible.  They were on this ship... she would have to find them and thank them.

She shook the thoughts from her head, something she regretted as it only made the room spin. The room... yes. That's right. This was the frost demons ship. She looked around. The bed beside her, Faero slept. And Jorn beside him. However, as she looked around she saw the rejuvenation pods. One she recognized as Goshen. The other... the person in the other pod made her do a double take.

Hurriedly, Faeora stumbled from the bed, trying to stand up. Wearing only a pair of shorts, and her torso wrapped. She limped to the pod... it couldn't be. But of course it was. Era... How...

Faeora put her hand on the glass, looking at her saiyan friend. While she wanted to be happy at seeing her again, she could only feel sadness. What could have happened to her to have put her into that bad of a state... Era was always stronger than her, to think that she was taken down this far was quite the shock.

"Era..." The smaller saiyan whispered in disbelief. Resting her forehead against the glass, she closed her eyes... she did not know what happened, but whatever it was, Faeora wished deeply that she could have been there to prevent it.

@ChoShadow @ChazGhost @Deathrattle BB

Era floated in the chamber, unconscious... yet conscious. She could sense, even in her sleep, what was going on around her. She could sense Fae, though she didn't recognize her energy because Era only learned how to sense power levels over the last couple of months. She hadn't seen Fae in just over a year if her memory served.

And who were the others who's power levels were dangerously low around her?

The energy was Saiyan energy without a doubt, but who was it? She wished she had learned how to sense energy a long time ago so she'd have been familiar with their energy signatures and know who she was surrounded by. All of this wondering had her slightly concerned. Was it a protection detail gone bad? A mission to conquer space pirates gone bad like it had been for Valkyrie before? She hated not knowing what was going on.

Slowly Era came out of her sleep and opened her eyes, glancing at Fae and the frankly miserable shape she was in.

"... Faeora?" She asked quietly, hoping her eyes weren't deceiving her.

((I have absolutely nothing decent to write right now, so here, have a Antiforce off in the distance :D ))

Elprede stayed behind on the business to see to whoever he could possibly save at the time while also protecting the Saiyans. It was not as if it were a particularly difficult task for him, simply annoying due to Pyro's and Valkyrie's spat up in the sky. There were a lot better things to do than arguing over who controls the damn ship -- in which case, why did it matter anyways? They were all in this together, they should learn to actually work together if this was planned to be a thing that would last for a long time. It wouldn't be good for any of them if there was civil war among them.

Nevertheless, when he got back to ship he decided to just relax outside of it for a while. It wasn't as if he was actually needed inside of it currently, more or less. He had no idea how to heal a Saiyan, Namekian, or any other race that was in the ragtag group on the planet. He really only knew how to provide medical aid to his own kind. He really should find some medical training for other races at some point...

Just as he finally got into a comfortable position, he felt a chill run up his spine. It was not the good kind, either. He sat up atop the ship and looked around... spotting a massive black blob somewhere off in the distance, blocking the light of some stars.

... We need to steer clear of that there Antiforce, Jasmine. He thought nervously.

Jasmine was feeling exactly the same. "That's assuming it hasn't noticed us yet... we don't know anything about it besides that it is some part of the First God."

Yep. Um, hijack the intercoms on the ship real quick?

Jasmine did as he asked.

"Hello, people! May I have your attention!" Elprede announced loudly. "Uh, please make sure to provide the big black blob covering pretty much all light to our immediate left some MASSIVE leeway. Uh, it will eat us, just like I saw it turn an entire Darkhood's ship into breakfast. Oh, and don't EVER go near that thing unless you happen to be the First God or something else of equal power. Please and thank you."

He donned to enter the ship at that time and go to train in the gravity room, because honestly, he was NOT about to stick out there in space with something the size of a star that had a major problem with gluttony.

Valkyrie was laying in her bed resting her eyes when she heard Elprede's voice over the intercom. She opened her eyes slightly as she listened to what he had to say, but closed them as soon as he finished.

Pyro's men are at the bridge. They'd be activating the warp drive to take them back to the location of his other troops on the planet where Valkyrie defeated Death so they could pick them up and collect whatever they scavenged from the Darkhood vessel and the bodies. They wouldn't have to worry about that blob thing.

She began daydreaming as she let herself relax. No need to get bent out of shape about some stupid blob in space.

Back in the Rejuvenation Chamber, Era's attention was drawn by Elprede's announcement but she kept her eyes on Fae. Whatever that blob was, she was certain Pyro's crew would avoid it. Fae was the more important issue right now. Her and her crew.

Was her brother, Faero, here too? If so, which one was he? She couldn't see very well due to still being in recovery and the chamber's liquids made things hazy beyond a few feet outside. Surely he couldn't be one of those with his power level so low, right?

@Deathrattle BB @ChazGhost @KingHink

Pyro was on the main deck ordering his men around as they prepared to activate the warp drive and head back to were his men were left behind and collect the left over valuables of the darkhood ship. Then the ship picked up on the radar a giant black blob  entity. "What the hell is that?" one crew member asked. "Who cares,just avoid it and..." Pyro said before Elprede hijacked the speakers and announced to the ship and announced to the crew about the blob and that could eat the ship. This of course unnecessarily made many of the crew worried and sacred and made Pyro annoyed. Pyro Went on the intercom system afterwards and said "Everyone don't worry, we are about to head back to the previous world we were on to pick up the scavengers. We will be avoiding the blob and it will not bother us in anyway. Pyro out.". Shorty afterwards the ship started moving and warped back to the previous planet.

Hearing her voice through the tank, Faeora tilted her head up. Looking into the now open eyes of Era. She was conscious. Admittedly, Fae felt embarrassed at the state she was in in front of her friend, but at the same time she was also quite happy that her friend was in stable enough condition that she was conscious. It did ease a since of worry that Fae didn't realize had taken over her. The shorter saiyan smiled softly as the tension she felt eased. "Era..." She repeated, a bit somberly despite the smile, "... oh my.... what have you done to yourself? What happened to you?" She did what she could not to be 'that person' and ask the 'are you okay' question. Obviously not.

As the voices came through the intercom, Faero stirred from his sleep. With only a sigh, he sat up. Despite what he pain he must have been feeling, he didn't show it. His face was as sober as it would be on any other day. With no hestiation, he pushed aside the covers and stood up. Keeping his weight on one leg. Unlike Fae, he was naked. His body held quite a number if fresh scars. His left leg was still in a brace, it having been conpletely shattered. His tail was crooked now... having been broken in several places. And most inportantly... his right arm severed at the shoulder. Even his power level seemed unusually low. He reached for a crutch and pile of clothes generously left nearby.

Upon seeing this, Fae turned around, "Faero... get back in bed." She admonished.

Her brother shot her a look of warning, pausing in his weakened attempts in getting dressed. "I am fine. I know my limitations. You, on the other hand, should focus more in recovering yourself." He said, a but more coldly than he intended. He held the starest until Faeora looked away in submission.

"Yes, Commander." She said. A bit uncharacteristic of her, but neither of the siblings seemed in much of a mood to be aggressive at the moment.

Faero knew Faeora was concerned. That wasn't lost him. He was nice knowing she cared... however... his die had already been cast. The damage was done. Faero knew the seriousness of his injuries and he didn't want Faeora to worry about that right now. She should focus on herself. Unlike him... she at least would be able to fight again. This thought brought him no end of relief.

After a bit of struggle he pulled down his shirt, clothed again, and leaned on the crutch. "I will be fine." He repeated to her, more softly this time.  He looked to Era in the chamber. "Era... I hope your recovery is going well. Please make sure Fae doesn't let her attitude get the better of her. She needs her rest. I'm going to go find the captain." He said and limped from the room. For an elite saiyan whose body was ruined... he did not give any hint from his expression that his pride was injured as well. No saiyan wanted to be in such a position... but as expected of Faero... he handled it cooly.

He left the room, Wandering the corridors until he found the frost demon named Pyro. Hopefully, that nephelem too... he wanted to personally thank them. For not only saving his sister, but his unit too.

Era chuckled a bit, but coughed against it with a wince before settling herself.

"Well..." She began, trying to think of an easy way to say it.

"To put it simply: I died." She said.

"We were on another world facing down much more powerful members of the enemies which attacked your group. One of them in particular, the Captain, as he called himself, was so powerful there was no hope for victory whatsoever. If I really, his power was 240 million at maximum." She said, giving Fae a moment to take it in.

"After a not too drawn out struggle, most of us were down. I managed to pick myself up and, before I tried one last time, I swore I wouldn't fail. But... I failed. Despite my efforts, there was nothing I could do. I was beaten down so fast that I hardly had time to know what he had even done to me before I was on my back and in so much pain I could barely see straight." She said.

"The last thing I remember is seeing Valkyrie nearby, and reaching out to her. As I did, everything went to white. The next thing I knew, I woke up here in this ship's Medical Bay in the Rejuvenation Chamber. According to Valkyrie, they managed to keep me from entering post mortem decay by stimulating my brain and using an artificial heart to pump blood and oxygen throughout my system. At the same time, once Elprede, the silver Nephelem, was up to the task, he acted as a conduit for Valkyrie's Ki to flow through my body until it revitalized my nervous system and filled my Ki pathways. That was just enough to bring me back from death." She said, again stopping to give Fae a moment to process the information.

@KingHink

Fae turned back to Era after watching her brother leave. Hearing her die was ine thing, at hurtful thought ofbwhat Era must have went through, buy as soon as she mentioned the power level, her mouth dropped. Two hundred and forty million... it was incomprehensible. How could it have been a struggle... even with the power she felt from Valkyrie, that would have been a slaughter. It was safe to say the news had shaken Faeora.

Her nails scraped against the glass as her hand on the tank balled into a fist. It was shocking reminder of how strong the enemy was... but... death. To think Era had died was beyond sobering. If Val was that strong... it was hard to imagine how strong Era must have been. The thought of strength though she pushed out of her head as she looked into Era's eyes. Faeora's own green looked a bit mournful.

"It... I'm just glad your alive... it is miracle beyond belief at all that you even were revived after such a state." And one that Fae was quite glad for. She had had no idea of what sort of things had been going on.

"I'm... glad you are okay... I'm sorry I wasn't there. If I was... I wouldn't have let that happen to you." She said softly. And a bit regretfully... Fae did somehow think that things might have been different if she was there... but at the same time... she likely would have still been the weak link. "I'm sorry you had to go through that..." even if she had know knowledge of it until now, she still wished there was something could have done. "...but you are alive now. That matters most. I'm here now too."

Faero limped through the halls, after receiving a few directions he found his way there easily enough. Outside the bridge, he opened the door and stood at the threshhold. "I  looking for Captain Pyro, I am Commander Faero Faerari. Permission to enter bridge?" He announced.

Faero was among the higher elite families of Metahn. The Faerari family was no laughing matter. They a lot of pool. Yet, while most elites carried with them a sense of arrogance and elitism... Faero was one of the few who seemed more down to planet. He did however come off as cold, at times. Yet this was not his ship, and these men were not under his command. He would respect their authority here, especially after their generous accomadations.

@ChoShadow @Deathrattle BB @ChazGhost

Pyro was walking around the bridge checking on the stashens as that headed back to grab his scavangers and loot. "We should back there shortly sir, a few more mintues tops... I hope no darkhoods found them yet." One of the crew members stated.

"Good, once we reach the planet send a singal and find the scavengers as soon as possible. And also keep a close eye on the radar for darkhoods or other ships. We don't who may of show up in the small amount of time between when we left and now." Pyro said looking over the crewmember. Then the doors opened and Faero stood infront of them. Pyro looked over to him when was finished talking and thluggt to himself Finally a monkey who shows respect.... "I am Captain Pyro. Your welcome to enter the bridge commander" Pyro said giving respect back by not straight out calling him a dirty monkey. "Come and sit in one of the empty seats." Pyro added waveing at one of the empty chairs near him.

@KingHink

Era smiled behind her rebreather.

"Thank you Fae." She said softly.

She put her hand up to the glass beneath Fae's.

"It's good to see you again." She said, closing her eyes and tilting her head slightly to one side which was something of an Era trademark when she gave someone a smile, though the rebreather hid the smile.

She let her hand drop and took a deep breath.

"Also... Valkyrie and I discovered recently that we are half-sisters and share the same father. How crazy is that?" She asked with a light chuckle.

@KingHink

Despite what she went through, it was impressive that Era still somehow was able to keep up such high spirits. Then again, she shouldn't expet anything but. Fae released a pent up breath, and it came out as a relieved sigh. She would give a small smile.

Fae might have removed her hand from the tank too, if not for the fact that it was no sort of helping her stand. The news of Era and Val being related certainly came out of left field. Fae blinked a few times, "That is certainly a pretty crazy coincidence. Though I am glad for you." She let out a small chuckle. "I need to find her. She saved my life out there."

" Heh, I can sort of see you two as siblings. As for me... I don't really have anything special to reveal. I had gotten stronger than you were when we last met. I was for sure that when we next met I would be ahead of you for a change. Valkyrie has gotten so powerful... and I am sure you have too. I don't see how either of you did it... but you two are really something special."

______

Faero nodded and entered the room. Walking to one of the empty chairs, he eased himself down into one. Which, for someone reason hurt more than standing up. "I appreciate the hospitality, Captain. It is a luxury we haven't been privy too in some time." He said. "On behalf of me and my unit, I wanted to thank you personally for seeing to the well being of my unit, and providing us with accommodations. You and your friends, Valkyrie and the nephelem went out of your way to assist us. I owe you all a debt of gratitude . As well I would like to apologize should we be a burden. I understand if you wish us off as soon as possible."

@ChoShadow @Deathrattle BB @ChazGhost

Era chuckled.

"I suppose we are, in a way... At least genetically." She let slip.

She sighed behind her rebreather.

"It's getting a bit difficult to keep my eyes open. I think I'm going to sleep some more for now. Take care Fae, and I look forward to our next conversation." She said with another of her smiles, again hidden by the rebreather.

She then slipped rather quickly into sleep, proven by the brain wave analyzing monitor nearby. With Era once again out, poor Fae was left all alone in the medical bay with nobody else to talk to.

Meanwhile, in her room, Valkyrie was lying in bed staring at the ceiling. She couldn't sleep, and she wasn't hungry. She was pissed. Pissed that she'd let Pyro say he didn't care about her being a Super Saiyan and that he'd kill her if she endangered his crew again. She should have given him more of a piece of her mind. Her concern for Fae overweighed her pride in that moment, which was a bit out of character for her.

Nobody spoke down to her like that... Nobody.

She had half a mind to give Pyro a beating the next time she entered the Super Saiyan state, just to prove to him that no matter how angry he was he was now no match for her. She could kill him anytime she wanted if she mastered that form. Perhaps it would do to wait a bit longer then. Once she had it mastered, she'd remind him of where he stood now as the low man on the totem pole. His "title" didn't mean anything to her. Whether he called himself a "Captain" or a "General," she could kill him without a fight in her Super Saiyan state.

She'd remind him of that someday soon. Just not yet. She'd wait to master the form first. But she was now dead set on making sure he hadn't gotten away with speaking to her like that. She'd remind him of why the Super Saiyan was such a feared legend throughout the galaxy when she was ready.

@KingHink @ChazGhost

Fae minted her smile until Era's eyes closed. Her face fell after that, she sighed and cast her eyes downward. She hoped she would get better soon.

Fae didn't want to be left alone. There was too much to think about right now. Slowly and gently, Faeora dressed herself and left the room. Wandering through the halls, following the feeling of Val's energy signature.

Once she found the appropriate room, Fae raised her hand... pausing only a moment before knocking on the door. "Valkyrie. It's Faeora. May I come in?"

@ChoShadow

Valkyrie had raised her fist towards the ceiling and clenched it tightly.

She wanted to know just how to trigger the Super Saiyan transformation without relying on reliving the events which led to Era's death.

As she clenched her fist, she closed her eyes and tried feeling out that energy from within herself. But her body was silent. The energy of the Super Saiyan form was distinctly different than her base form's energy, almost as if it was a separate entity hiding within her which only revealed itself when the time was right. If she could just find that energy source within herself, maybe she could practice mastering it.

As she continued to concentrate she did feel a tiny spark which seemed separate from the rest of her energy deep within her core, but that's when a knock came at the door and she heard Fae's voice come through.

"Enter," she called back as she sat up in bed.

@KingHink

Fae opened the door and entered into the room. She stopped in the middle of the room, "I just finished talking with Era. She told me what happened. About her death, and this Captain guy." Fae said. Eh. It sounded liked small talk.

She needed to focus on why she had come. Fae looked down at the ground a moment then back to Val. Looking her in the eye. "Back on Hokay, If you hadn't come when you did, I don't think we would have survived another hour. You did more in more in seconds than me and our unit did in weeks. I don't know how you did it, but you did. You saved my life, thank you." She said.

"I just... wanted to let you know. If you're busy, I can go."

@ChoShadow

Val sat quietly and listened as Fae spoke, and she let out a soft sigh as Fae finished.

"You can stay and chat if you would like. It's been a while and I think it could do us both some good." She said, crossing her legs.

"As for how I did it, my power level was leagues beyond theirs. Nothing more. I went in without a plan or even really knowing who we were up against until I saw some of their uniforms up close." She admitted.

She leaned back a bit, putting her back against the wall.

"All that aside... You've gotten quite a bit stronger since last we met as well. Regardless of what happened on that world or how powerful Era and I have become since we were born without a Genetic Limiter, your power is far stronger than I remember it being." She said, giving Fae a genuine smile.

@KingHink

Faeora nodded, staying to chat would be nice. "I'll stay, then." And so she listened. As she did. It did give her the chance to think. Having so much power to be able to go into such a situation without a thought or plan. It was hard to think about it in such a scale as she witnessed. A lot of things were getting hard to think about actually...

Any other given day or given moment, those words would have made Fae beam. But somehow... the words seemed hollow when they reached Fae's ears. While the genuineness of the words and smile did make her feel a bit warm inside... the smile that Fae returned had a hint of being forced.

Fae turned away and walked over to window, and looked to the stars, and that weird black blob. Her smile fell now that her face was out of sight. Val didn't seem to care much about the comparison between them. Era, bless her heart, would likely also see it the same way. But Fae couldn't seperate it. To think they once could have been considered peers. She forced out a chuckle to hide her contemplation of the matter. "Yeah. I'm glad you think so. It wasnt easy. It has been a rough year. I pulled through for the better, I suppose. Clearly, not as rough as what your two have been through to come as far as you have. Seriously... Both you and Era. It's unbelievable. I suppose that Genetic Limiter thing really does make you all the more special than the rest of us." She said, stopping herself from speaking more. Not wanting to sound bad.

"But what is this about Genetic Limiter stuff?"

Pyro sat down in his captain chair... Well it looked more like a metal throne that spinned around then a chair. He listen to Faero as he talked before signal one of the crew to bring them somthing to drink. "It was some trouble to began with, being that dirty... I mean Valkyrie forcefuly took over the ship as I was in the middle of train my men. So it has cause some trouble to help you. But I digress, you and your men were in bad shape and still are" Pyro said pointing out Faero was still very bad condition. "Your welcome to stay as long as you need to recover and figure out what to do next." Pyro added as a crew member brought Pyro a glass of wine. Then he walked over to Faero and offer a glass of the same wine or a glasd of water.

@KingHink

Valkyrie could hear a change in Fae's voice though she couldn't see her face, and as she thought about it a moment she supposed Fae's pride must be growing somewhat tender. Given that she came from one of, if not the most powerful Saiyan family second only to the Royal Family back on Metahnn, it would come as no surprise to Valkyrie if Fae was feeling somewhat off about having been left so far behind while Era and Valkyrie ascended to all new heights.

When she asked about the Genetic Limiter, Valkyrie tried her best to describe it.

"Most Saiyans have a Genetic Limit to how powerful their bodies become. Once you hit that level, you will not grow any stronger no matter how hard you train or how many battles you engage in. It's why the King, despite going into missions to keep himself fit, hasn't grown stronger over the years." She said.

She thought about it for a moment longer before continuing.

"When Era and I visited the Nephelem home world, Zaero, we visited a place known as the Vault. It is an underground room where the powers of the First God are able to manifest due to ancient properties of the space within. We fought him there, and afterwards our consciousness was transported to another void-like realm. There, we saw what we believe is the spirit of the original Super Saiyan of legend. He didn't say anything, but he showed us a vision of the fact that we share the same father. Afterwards, he struck our bodies with some kind of energy blast and when we 'woke up' from this vision our bodies no longer were restricted by what we had believed was our Genetic Limit."

She thought back on the moment of her realization about Era being her sister and how in denial she was about the whole thing. It made her somewhat regretful, the way she'd spoken to Era about it all.

"After that fiasco, we discovered that our DNA does not contain a Genetic Limiter gene at all like we'd previously thought. Instead, it held a gene which behaved in the same fashion until we were hit with whatever that energy was by the spirit in the void. Whatever that energy did to us set our bodies free of all restraints they used to live by. It was almost as if the gene within needed to be activated before it came into its own, but I'm glad it did because otherwise we wouldn't be here. That Darkhood Captain, Death, would have finished us all." She said.

Normally, Faero didn't drink alcohol. However, given the state he was in, he did not mind a glass to take off a bit of the edge. He reached out and took the glass, nodding his thanks to the soldier before returning his attention to Pyro.

"I see. I can imagine how troublesome that would have been for you. Unfortunately I do not have any authority over her to deliver any admonishment that you might have wished for. Do forgive her though, her pride runs strong. Always has. She has quite the bit of passion, too. Personally, I find it both are endearing qualities. The lengths she would go to help her own has always impressed me."

"What I can do, Captain, is see to it that you and your men are properly compensated for the troubles involving us. For your consensual time and assistance as well. You have done right by us, we shall do right by you." He said as he took a sip of the wine.

"If you do not mind my advice, one shouldn't take Valkyria's actions too personally. While I can't attest to how dirty she is, she is a good and reliable person, despite what flaws there seems to be on the surface. I will talk to her though, Captain. I can not promise anything, but perhaps I can help promote a mutual understanding." He offered.

Would she? Probably not. She would likely take a more stubborn path. Still, even he could feel the tension that was there. He was not so arrogant to assume that his presence would solve the problem,  but perhaps a more civil environment would be ideal for everyone. Especially those who do not have such high power levels.

Fae listened in silence. Staring out the window as Val told the story. It was equal parts profound and painful. Meeting a god... not just any god but a spirit of the legendary super saiyan. Freedom gained from limitations. Faeora had no reason to doubt Valkyrie's words. She took it all to be true. It was an incredible thing. There was so many questions to be had. What was the super saiyan spirit like? Did it hurt? How did you have the vision? What else did she see? How did they feel about being sisters? But.... for some reason when Fae opened her mouth to speak, she muttered, "so what you are saying is no matter how hard I try, I will never be able to catch up..." She said, under her breath as she looked down at her hands.

She closed her eyes, nonsense. Utter nonsense. Of course she could. Somehow... maybe... she shouldnt dwell on that now. This was a time to be happy for them. Faeora turned around and walked over to Valkyrie. And sat beside her on the bed. "I keep saying you two are special. And you keep proving me right." She said with an honest smile. "I envy you. But still... if you two have this special gene. Or don't have it, as it seems. Then you two could very well be the greatest thing that happened to our race. The stepping stone of saiyan evolution. Not meaning to sound crass, but, you won't have any trouble finding a mate." She chuckled and rested her elbows on her knees. Wincing as her back audibly popped cause of the movement.

She thought for a second. "Wait... Era mention that guy had a power level of over 240 million. How the heck DID you get away from him?" She asked.

Valkyrie heard Fae mutter something, but it was too soft to hear so she dismissed whatever it may have been.

Instead, when Fae came over and sat down Valkyrie couldn't help but smile. However, when Fae said she'd have no trouble finding a mate thanks to her genes, Val blushed slightly and looked away.

"I-... I couldn't imagine searching for a mate just yet." She said quietly.

And then Fae asked about how they beat Death, and Valkyrie glanced over to her.

"We didn't escape from him... I killed him." Valkyrie said, pausing slightly before admitting to having killed him.

Valkyrie was a Super Saiyan. That was the legendary warrior of the Saiyan Race. If Fae asked the question Valkyrie knew was almost certainly coming her way, there was no telling how this conversation could evolve or devolve based on Fae's reaction...

Valkyrie silently held her breath for a second as she waited to see what Fae would do.
