Fantasy (IC) Ophiuchus Academy for the Supernaturally Gifted!

Oma tilted her head more interested in a human that could become an animal than exactly questioning it as was shape shifting all that out of place. E=What mattered to Oma was that there was no bird for her to feed to her tree here. She was more confused why the human human was asking for what she was holding out already, really she should know more about humans but men were easy when they found her and this girl was no man.

" You can" She said reaching and placing the feather on the girls head " there you are " She continued " Back where it belongs"

"Si, Señor Roman. I will go get her."

With that, she began to walk off, muttering under her breath at how ridiculous Hisoka is. All the while the aforementioned professor continues to sleep away on the hallway floor, being completely unfazed by being both tripped over and screamed at.

"Guess I'll have to keep an eye on you for a while, ya sleepyhead." Roman turned to Hisoka, who is sleeping face first on the floor, aware that he's talking to nobody in particular. 'Great. If I missed the students entering, it'll all be thanks to this guy...Let's hope Maya comes here soon.' Roman thought, taking out his cherry potion and drinking it once more. Leaning his staff against the wall, Roman lifted a finger, transferring some energy to Hisoka's body and have it float around for a bit, turning his body to a proper posture then placing him back on the floor, his back lying on the wall. "Yeah, thank me later." he sighed as he took another sip, waiting for Amaya to come pick him up.

Eliza sat in the back of the bus, picking the gunk out of their long fangs. Theyhad no interest in the other kids on the vehicle, seeing as they wouldn't have any in them either. They melted their hand in and out of the shadow on the back of the seat, a deep laugh emitting from them. The laugh was demonic, seeing as Eli was a demon. Not much of a surprise.

Alice had not even bothered to get on the bus. There was no point. She could get to the school 100 times faster than it so why would she voluntarily trap herself on a bus with a bunch of strangers? She was never one to enjoy the company of others. Even when her family still "liked" her she spent most of her time in the barn tending to the horses. Alice allowed her eyes to look over the campus of the school. It was beautiful, there was no denying that and yet she would probably spend most of her time up here. On the roof of the school. How she got up here? A long story but it did involve a tree her super speed and a whole lot of upper body strength. Nothing she couldn't handle anyways with the cool wind blowing through her long frosty white hair the struggle was worth it.

Listening in, Bob's eyes widened at Sarah's words, entering the conversation with, "Duuuude you're a shapechanger? That's trippy, dude." Bob stared at the ceiling of the bus, contemplating the fast and world shaking implications of shape changing. "Dude... what if you turned into a worm... and got cut in a half... and then you and the other half turned back. There's be two yous duuude." Bob leaned forward and held his head in his hands, his expression that of one whose entire reality was now in question.

Not long after, the bus began it's way up the pathway to the Academy. Upon getting close, wisps quickly took their positions outside to help illuminate the exterior and guide them along. The golden gates slowly opening up to accept the new group of students.

---

After a few minutes, Guadalupe returned with a rushing Maya, holding what looked like a bag of ice.

"Hisoka, you couldn't have picked a worse time to conk out? The students are here!"

Once she got close enough, Amaya quickly smacker her unconscious brother in the face with the bag of ice. The resulting cold causing the latter to jolt up in panic, sending the bag flying a couple of feet away.

"Wh-Wha...??"

"Get your behind in gear, man, the bus has arrived with the students. Get off your butt and come on!"

Now waiting for a response, Amaya grabbed her brother's arm and yanked him to his feet before running back to the Atrium.

Guadalupe sighed a bit and ran a hand through her hair.

"Well...looks like it is time to welcome los estudiantes, si? Ven, Roman, come on."

Guadalupe began making her way off to the Atrium, silently praying Symphorine's currently playing song has not damaged her plants.

"Well...looks like it is time to welcome los estudiantes, si? Ven, Roman, come on."

"Welp. Better late than never I suppose." Roman replied as he grabbed his staff once more, softly chuckling on how Amaya handled waking her brother up. Sure, he knew she was like, 3 BILLION years old, but that's what's interesting about this place; everyone's pretty much from different species. It's odd being the only human teacher around here, you know? Following Guadalupe back to the Atrium, it appears the bus containing the students finally drew close as the gates opened, doing their jobs quite well.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to school." Roman could only comment as he drank the last bit of his Cherry potion, shoving the empty glass on his sleeve. If he could actually see who could potentially be his students, then things might go well.

Alice watched quietly as the bus rolled up. Just as she expected she beat them my awhile. The large gates to the school opened welcoming the students but what really caught her was what looks like a swarm of fireflies around the gate. A confused look crossed her face. Yes, Alice had always been smart for her age. Some would even say she was a 40 year old trapped in the body of a 14 year old but when it came to anything supernatural she was sadly lacking in that department. It's not like she had anyone to teach her. She was adopted at a young age so she never got to know her birth mother and her adoptive parents were completely and utterly human. As soon as they learned about her "abilities" they threw away like day old trash.

Alice stood to her feet and adjusted her fluffy black pleated skirt before stepping to the end of the roof. With a swift movement she jumped off the roof did a front flip in the air and casually landed on the ground as if nothing happened. She had no intention of socializing with the other students. She just wanted to get a better look of these "fireflies" for a lack of a better word.

"Hold the introductions until we get the students through the door, Roman." Amaya chuckled as she stood among the more taller professors and looking around. She seemed to notice someone's missing. "Okay...where's that nosy demon? It's go time, and she's decided now to go MIA?"

"Do you want me to go find her, sister?"

"And risk having you asleep in the hall again? No, beanpole, you stay right here. It's no skin off our noses if she wanted to make herself look like an idiot on her first impression."

--

The wisps floated around the front of the Academy building. Upon closer inspection, through their bright glow, they appear to have a humanoid shape, with their lower body tapering into a ghostly tail. A few wisps seem to be curled up in a ball, remaining still as they rest within specialized lanterns hanging overhead.

Larius chuckled at Roman before hearing Amaya.
"I'll go look for her. Eartalker possibly would want to talk to me anyway."
He said while going inside to look the demoness he had nicknamed Eartalked because of her love of gossip.

Eliza fixed their attention on the shadow of a tree outside, melting through the bus shadow and climbing out of the shadow of that tree. They glanced at the teacher before them, taking note of their fussing and whatnot. Eli sighed boredly, already growing tired of the school. They wondered when they would get to the fun parts, like combat and whatnot. They didn't complain aloud, but anyone capable of regular thought would be able to see that they were irritated, just by the way Eli flicked their tail and tapped their foot..

As the other teachers made their final touches for the new students, there was one who decided to focus on doing something else.

Outside, a cool sensation could be felt as a hidden figure stared down at the impatient student. Swiftly and silently, the figure emerged from their hiding place in one of the Academy's foreign trees and swooped down, revealing herself as the missing instructor, brandishing a rapier.

"Kyaaaaa~!"

Eli's eyes widened and they ducked down into the shadow again, reappearing in one farther off. "What is this?" They asked, shooting looks at the other teachers gathered in the clearing.

Larius heard the sound and came running before seeing the student dodge Eartalker's 'attack' by going into another shadow. He shook his head as he looked at Eartalker for answers.

"Does scaring the students amuse you Alii?"

He said before looking at the student.

"Alii here likes to scare students and is also the resident gossip queen. Try not to let out much personal info around her, she's a hungry one for that."

With a snicker and a pleased grin on her face, Alii situated herself back up on a tree on the opposite side, leaning back against the trunk with arms folded behind her head.

"Oh, it's all in good fun, don't get your undies in a twist. Besides, it's not even my real weapon."

She grinned wider as she pulled out the rapier, shaking it to reveal that the blade was actually rubber.

The other teachers who were alerted by Alii's cry just seemed to glare at her in ranging intensities. Guadalupe and Amaya appeared to be tied at completely unamused, while Symphorine doesn't look so much angry as she does disappointed, and Hisoka just staring with total apathy. Headmistress shook her head slowly and sighed.

"Every year you pull a similar stunt on the students, Alii'Aolani...one day, you will do so to the wrong student and someone will get hurt."

Larius chuckles as Eartalker was getting talked down to by Constellation. This was too good, the demoness did need to be taken down a few pegs but not too much since he still wanted someone to be the gossiper of the school. Though he didn't want his personal life to be known to the teachers, he couldn't let Alii try to pull that stunt again.

"Shade, just keep your senses open next time she gets near ya. She does every year to the students and it's going to backfire on her one way or another."

"Thanks. Are you a dryad? It exceptionally rare that you are outside of your forest." Sarah said placing the feather back in her book. Today was just a day full of surprises.
Suddenly sarah started being bomarded with questions about her shape shifting ability. Some of the question were making her feel uncomfortable. She tries to stay cool and answered. " i am not answering that question." Just as she responded she notice they were appoarching the academy. "Hey look willow whisp. It looks like we are appoarching the academy", sarah says with a bit of a smile.

Eliza narrowed their large turquoise eyes, cautiously approaching the prankster. They gestured towards Alli. "Dark magic?" they asked in a thick, Russian-like accent. Eli wasn't exactly fluent in English, so their sentences were less than superb.

Larius nodded with a smirk on his face.
"Yes, Dark magic. She is the teacher of black magic and divination."
He said before stretching his arms above his head.
"I'm going back to my class if anyone needs me."
He said.

Alii shifted her position to hang upside down from one of the thick branches, crossing her arms.

"Don't you think me of all people would know what'll happen in the future? Do I look worried? Relaaaaax, I know what I'm doing. I'm not breaking any rules. Now, little miss pipsqueak over there, THAT'S who you should be worried about."

Alii glanced over at the pint-sized professor, who continued to look quite steamed.

"Oh, buzz off, you total snake. I'm clean, more than you ever will be, sweetheart. You're lucky I'm in a good mood, or else I'd knock you clear out of that tree."

"You're in a good mood? That's a shocker, coming from the one alien girl who's suffering from perpetual PMS."

"Ladies, please. No fighting on school grounds."

The Headmisstress spoke up in an attempt to defuse the situation before the feuding professors got out of control. Remembering back to their last physical altercation...yeah, it wasn't a pretty sight. Much less pretty when Guadalupe entered into the magical brawl after the fight damaged many of the garden's plants.

"You forgot, Headmisstress, you hired me as the Combat teacher, too. Why don't I give the new students a demonstration? By squishing the Academy's resident pest turned professor."

Amaya narrowed her eyes. For a split second, it almost looked as if her eyebrows opened up slightly.

"Oh, I'm the pest, that's hilarious coming from you."

As the tension began to rise, the bus finally made its way and stopped right in front, causing the argument to come to an abrupt and awkward end.

Removing his head from his hands, Bob returned to his happy daze, his previous revelations dropped on the floor. Noticing the rumbling of the bus lurching to a stop, he glanced outside the window and noticed they had arrived. Standing up, he put his hands behind his head and idly walked off the bus, hopping into the magical realm. Rapidly glancing around with a giant grin, his eyes rapidly shifted from sight to sight, before finally lingering at the wisps. "Woahohoho this place is nuts," he commentated to nobody in particular. Noticing the many teachers arrayed before the bus, he grinned and waved at them, saying, "Hey, what's up dudes! Nice place."

Alice was quickly snapped out of her trance with the wisps by a shriek coming from behind her. She quickly covered her ears as pain shot through them. Super hearing really had its disadvantages at time. With an extremely annoyed look on her face she whipped around to see if she could spot the person that had let out the ear drum shattering call. It was no use. There were now quite a few people in the courtyard and they all seemed to be mixed up in their own weird situation. Alice's annoyed look quickly changed to a perplexed one as she found herself curiously watching the interactions with the different people. They all seemed completely and utterly insane. Growing up around a quite wealthy family that found emotions pointless and even improper never really gave Alice the opportunity to hang out with, let alone see people who really didn't have an image to uphold. Honestly, she couldn't decide if it was intriguing or just plain troublesome. For the time being she found herself leaning toward intriguing as she watched another kid get off the bus. He had a memorized look on his face as his eyes rapidly moved from side to side trying to take in everything on the campus.
"Woahohoho this place is nuts" he spoke. Alice looks around him but found no one he could have possibly been talking to. 'Was he talking to himself?' she asked in her head. Alice quietly observed him from a little bit away.

"Hey, dweeb! Wake up, we're here!"
"Spencer...?" Risa opened her eyes upon hearing Spencer's garbled voice, waking up from her long sleep as she looked out the window to see that the bus had finally stopped moving. The pink blob of ectoplasm was floating in float of her, staring at her with anticipation. It appears to have woken up, too...Perhaps even earlier than her.
"Good, you're awake!" Spencer replied, looking up the seat in front of them. "Everyone's going down now! Let's go, now!"
"R-right!" Risa replied as she stood up, grabbing her pink and purple bag and slung it on her shoulder. As soon as she got out, she saw a grand, fantasy-esque building near their bus. All she could do was stare in awe.
"Ha! This place is even better than I thought, right Ri?" Spencer commented as he floated by Risa's shoulder, interacting with some of the wisps that light the path. Risa, however, didn't reply. In fact, she was speechless by all of this; This place was quite grand.

"Oh, there you guys are. I was quite worried where did you all run off to." Roman said as he approached the bus, finding the collected crowd of both students and teachers. It appears Roman was late for their arrival, but oh well. Taking notice of the students, Roman took one last sip of his potion and stared at the students. "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Ophiuchus Academy." He greeted as he let out a bow in politeness. He wasn't usually this polite, but hey. First impressions last, right?

Oma didn't really know that to say she would have explained the reason dryads rarely left forests and why she was able but then another human one who seemed to not be all there interrupted with one hell of an odd question, though in some ways it was reasonable. The silence between the three of them was heavy until the bus came to a stop and the male left as the others started to leave the bus. This meant the two of them near the back had a little time before they got off.

" Well with him gone i can say yes i am a dryad and i am away from my forest because i brought my mother with me" She said likely just causing more questions.

What with people this group being rude and loud. Ignoring the rude boy shouting at everyone to leave the bus. Sarah packs up her book and things around her. She then stands up. "Hey it time to go", sarah say to the young dryad. Sarah was wondering how the dryad could be so far away fron her forest and what she meant by she had her mother with her, but it not the time for asking her these.
Sarah then heads towards the front of the bus and then exits. Outside she see students in front of teachers. " i have one question headmaster ma'am/sir. Why did we have to come by bus. I am sure many of us could just come here on our own. Is there a spell or something that prevents us."
