[IC] Act 3, Scene 2 : Journey of a Thousand Leagues... [Creation is your oyster]

Telega danced happily with the young woman, asking her her name as they danced, then bringing her to the sidelines, sharing a bite to eat and a cup of wine with her, pleasant conversation and the press of their body heat slowly making his intentions obvious. The jewel in his hearthstone amulet gave a very subtle shimmer as he sat her on his lap, smiling charmingly at her, then leaning in to kiss her, his lips promising a night she'd never forget...

"Ma'am?" It was obvious before he spoke up that Coriander was being followed. And he was skilled, given that she nearly... very nearly missed his presence. "Is something troubling you?"

A close examination revealed a young lad wouldn't have seemed out of place on the Cynis estate that Coriander grew up on. In fact, there was a slight resemblance to one of the more comely young ladies there who served the household as a slave.

Sighing softly to herself, Coriander didn't bother with more than a cursory examination, this was clearly one of good breeding for such a remote village. In fact, they somehow brought back memories of one particular slave from her home estate back on the Blessed Isle. Not so bad, really, but she wasn't exactly in the mood for company at the moment.

Seamlessly giving him the cold shouder, her slight glare spared him no mercy "Yes, you." came her firm answer, she didn't appear to be interested as her demeanor only showed calculated contempt and annoyance. She already felt confused enough as is, she didn't need anyone's help to worsen it.

Taking one short drag from her kiseru, she holds it forward slightly "You shouldn't follow people like this, one could mistake you for some sort of stalker." her lips curl into a slightly cruel smirk, she's always the sadist when her mood turns foul. Although she'd been holding back all this time, the stress and pressure was starting to make her resolve waver.

"Me? B... but I didn't mean to... you just looked so... well sad," The young man blinked and didn't quite protest in response. "And... the the village priest said that a sad lady, let alone a sad goddess is never good."

That he was a prince of the earth, one of the scions of the Realm, was it any wonder that Spring Blossom didn't resist and actually yielded before Telega's presence as he kissed her. Or was that responded favorably.

OOC compares MDV and dice roll, with the fact that she wouldn't mind such... which really just means she thinks you're the hottest thing since sliced bread.

Telega continues to play with Spring Blossom, whispering sweet but increasingly naughty things into her ear, his embraces and kisses becoming slowly more lascivious. Telega was of the house of Cynis, after all, and was intent on teasing the young girl until she was near to bursting before satisfying both their needs. At least he did it without sadism or malice, though perhaps those where only justifications to elevate him to a more noble mindset than the rest of his kin.

Regardless, Telega would be away from his bed for some time yet.

Misora looked over at the girl, then at the flower that she had given Misora, and then back at the girl. Nope, she did not quite get it. But she softly smiled at the girl, and called out. "Thank you."

Not eating, not drinking, barely conversing, and overall trying not to receive the gratitude of the village, Dujn sat uncomfortably at a table. This was a celebration for heroes, which Dujn knew he wasn't. And though many, especially dynasts, would love this sort of attention, deserved or not, he couldn't allow himself to be praised like this. Dujn's past had taught him exactly what undue pride and entitlement would get him, and he would have no more of that.

Let them praise the others if they wish, but I don't deserve this. Rising from his seat, Dujn starts making his way back towards the inn.

Yoran was busy just a split second putting his wine on the table, but it was enough for Telega to sweep the young girl off her feet.

"Mmh, Cynis habits die hard," he commented in a low voice.

Still, he did not look too disappointed, remaining calm and returning measured stares - like cooling embers in a fire ready to blaze anew with the right incentive - to the comeliest of the remaining young ladies that were expressed interest towards him.

OOC: while I'm not a tight-ass, I'd have liked you to wait or initiate a Join Debate to see which of us would have reacted first. It's a bit rude to let the vagaries of IRL schedules decide who gets first dibs :)

Now that was just pitiful, such a bold and sexy young man yet so meek, that one wouldn't last five minutes in a Cynis soiree. Still, she couldn't really hate him, after all that was just too adorable, what with the stuttering "Mmmm." she pressed her kiseru to her lips, her smile as foxlike as usual as she next spoke "Sit down over there." she motions toward a nearby barrel, her gaze rising toward the beautiful sky.

"What were you really hoping to accomplish by meeting here young man?" she giggles softly, lightly tapping him on the nose "And don't lie to me, I'm older than I look. <3"

The young maiden blushed at the thank you and smile before ducking behind her laughing friends.

Given that everyone else was at the party, Dujn finds himself quite alone as he walked back to the inn.

It's clear to Yoran from the murmuring, giggling and slight pushing about that the young ladies did like him. Admittedly, there were but a few left who were looking at him as opposed to say... Misora or one of the others.

Still, it wasn't as if the pickings were that slim, as the village girls seemed to have equally bred for beauty as well as hardiness that came from living on the threshold.

Settling down on said barrel, the blush on the young man's face said more about what he wanted or hoped to gain than any words he might utter. "Well... erm... I wanted to... to cheer you up. And and... you looked so sad and and..."

Haku said:
The young maiden blushed at the thank you and smile before ducking behind her laughing friends.
"Would you like to sit over here with me?" Misora asked, patting the seat next to her with a pleasant smile.

It took much coaxing and teasing from her friends and possibly relatives before the young maiden drew near Misora once more to sit by her.

"No need to be so shy with me." The Ledaal continued to smile in a reassuring way, laughing to herself quietly. "Thank you again for the flower, I think it's very pretty."

"Th... thank you," the blush on the young maiden's face was adorable in its innocence as she responded to Misora's compliment.

"What's your name?" Misora asked, still smiling. She took a sip of her drink, despite it still being too strong for her. But it was a small sip, so it wouldn't really effect her adversely.

"Ah... erm... Ka.... Kanane," the blush was accentuated by the maiden's realization of how bad her stuttering had to sound to Misora.

"Kanane? That's a pretty name. I'm Ledaal Misora." She then picked up her plate and took a bite of food. "Believe it or not, I'm a bit shy like you are with my peers."

"Rea.... really?" It's quite obvious to Misora that her companion was... quite star-struck with her crush on her. It wasn't as if the air aspect hadn't seem similar looks on others before, especially when one considers that she has seen seniors at the Heptagram like Coriander wooing young students.

Misora nodded with a small chuckle. "Yes... I am of very good breeding and my family is very important... People used to think I was snobby when I was just a little shy. So I was very lonely when I was very young."

"But you... you're a goddess, it just doesn't seem possible for you to be shy," Kanane's words could be deemed as praises, right?

"It's possible." She replied with a smile. "But I guess there was nothing for me to be shy about."
