Reasons for come to the frontier: It was technically for the fun of it-where ever she was last, it didn't fulfill her expectation. The Katzlein Tribe is what she left, in seek for something thrilling. Here (Kachasia) was where it was.

Alignment (Optional): Lawful-Neutral - I'd say Dravix is morally grey. While he still got his own sense of justice, he has had some relationships with a few shady subjects. Even so, he has a strong prejudice to those who wield their power for no particular reason.

Personality: Dravix’s personality is one of contrasts, shaped by a past that tempered his youthful tenderness into a stoic, disciplined exterior. As a child, he displayed a gentle heart and a caring nature, but life’s hardships taught him to bury those traits under a mask of firmness. Now, he approaches life with a quiet resolve, seldom showing vulnerability. Dravix’s maturity has granted him a serious outlook, and while he is far from cold, his demeanor can be intimidating due to his sharp focus and unyielding determination.

Underneath his stoicism lies a subtle temper and a desire for efficiency. Dravix has little patience for wasting time and prefers tasks to be completed promptly and precisely. Background: Dravix's had been going quite well, peaceful in fact. His childish behavior before was a better sight to see than the matured level he was at now. The village's paths were always blocked with problems, and he was first to offer help with labor work. He met a girl, and eventually started taking time off from chores to occasionally play with her. He was rather fond of her, not him, and soon promised to marry her. It was a mistake. He'd leave her or even forget her when he grew up. And to make things worse Dravix learned about her true 'gender' after several more years. After that, he distanced himself away from 'the person.' He didn't know what to call them-or what pronouns to use! Yet that wasn't why he also broke his promise. While he grew up, he toughened his emotions until they were able to be locked up. Life was life, only true adults understood the definition of change.

Past the whole heart breaking scene, Dravix had lately been into reading. So while he grew distant from his friend-that had proven to be a 'liar'-he spent his time stuffing his nose in books. That was when he realized the things he was reading wasn't technically legal in his area. At first, it just sounded like dark tales, but once he got more into it Dravix saw the power the words held. He never read aloud, but he tried. Once. And that was when it happened-more magic. Not necessarily normal ones creatures had, but something way different. Dangerous? If he continued on, perhaps he'd just learn a bit more about this type of ;magic;.

Around that time, again, his attention was brought to the frontier. His parents sought him useless from where he currently did work at-small commissions to help around here and there, but clearly not enough. So he took on the new adventure, not quite yet knowing his childhood friend was following. Dravix would most likely stay a bit distant, but maybe warm up to them...

Reasons for come to the frontier: The family he'd been living with lately sees him better off doing something useful in life, rather than a useless job. So Dravix went to the Frontier.

Background: From the area Aelric was born, he was considered a Yaksha. Yaksha's were technically considered 'magical beasts and spirts that protected the land', but he wasn't all that. There were few other of his group, and they all had a tattoo somewhere on their body to show what Yaksha they were.
He was titled the Vigilant Yaksha due to his continuous help to the community. Technically his job-which wasn't necessarily a job, but what he did from his own will-was to chase of those who carried evil 'spells'. Physics lived in his area long enough to sense demonic aura from people who've done bad, but most people figured this was all not true.

All Yakshas had teachers, and so he allowed one to mentor him-to teach him abilities useful for driving others away. The problem was, Aelric didn't know he was starting to before 'dark magic', and before long, his teacher broke it down for Aelric. He was devastated, and left the area due to not wanting to be driven away from the other Yaksha. But before he left, he had run into a psychic. They didn't seem to think of him as evil-so it was true, the rumors of the psychics was all a lie. They should be kicked out instead, not the innocent. Now, he left for the sake of not wanting to be part of the community.

Within his childhood lapse though, he was merely innocent and found the favor of collecting marbles enjoyable. The age he is now let's him feel a big nostalgic, so the one thing Aelric keeps from the hometown he comes from is a bag of marbles. Each marble is unique in their own way, yet Aelric find interest most in a half sea-foamed colored, and clear marble. Simply because it reflected himself onto it-in his eyes.


Reasons for come to the frontier: Formerly a 'Yaksha' that is a disgrace to his name now that Aelric found out how it was all fake, he fled his home and decided that he'd need to make use of whatever life he had. The Frontier was a thing that could help that.

Background: Once a physician in his hometown, Braxius was quite the popular one between all doctors. He worked alone but accepted now offers of assistance. It was rather soothing to tend and help one's wounds, even in severe times. The sight of seeing someone brought back from a coma always got cheers from the onlookers. But to him, enough was enough. Perhaps the area itself depended on him too much-and he found himself getting bored. A dragon like him did not belong in an area with the population high with humans.

So he quit his 'job.' At first he considered joining again, but he forced himself to stop thinking that way. Everyone split their life in half-thinking they chose the right one in the beginning but soon realized they didn't. And the offer stood out to Braxius-joining a so-called battle crew organization or whatever. A guild-several people were going to be there. And so was he. ({ Towards the beginning of when everyone were to meet up, he caught love at first sight.

Name: Nixie of the Rothweld

Appearance: A 20 something year old human female, pale of skin and fair of hair, her milky blue eyes are deeply set, surrounded by the long bangs of her hair.

About five foot three, she is well built despite her seemingly never ingesting actual food, with surprisingly supple limbs and thick joints.

Often smelling of sweetly scented smoke, mushrooms, and honeyed liquor, Nixie has an uncanny ability to remain motionless, using her delayed reactions often to her advantage.

Clothing/Clothing style: Usually simple robes and large hats made out of her grown mushrooms.

Job/Class: Mushroom Witch (Healer of sorts)

Weapon(s): Quarterstaff

Equipment: A surprising amount of powders, dried and ground from the literal bouquet of mushrooms and fungi that she harvests and grows, the range going from delicate seasonings to brutal poisons.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Personality: A slow, pondering and slightly obsessive nature, Nixie does as she likes when she likes and at her own pace no less. Regardless of pressures and incentives placed on her, she contains an immutable strength of will when it comes to her own life choices.

Often in her own little world, she partakes heavily of her own selection of inhalants and edibles, often persistently pressuring those around her to indulge as well.

A great deal of her life has been possible due to the secondary part of her personality, that being the uncanny, almost inherent ability to ingratiate herself with others and take without giving back. She is an accomplished, excellent social parasite. More than willing to ask continually for things and never pay them back, this should be an obvious problem but her personality and inability to be swayed by logic somehow keep her in the good graces of others.

Background:

Hitching rides and hiking her way to the frontier Nixie has found a goal. She’s had goals before, obviously, but those really never went further than were nothing more than getting out of bed, finding food, finding a place to hang out, really jus the basics. No, for the first time her goal had a bit more to it. She wanted a husband, someone capable of handling her and providing a substantial future.

Life hadn’t been going so well, despite her best attempts at doing what she had always done and things were starting to make her feel the vaguest sense of concern. She had no money, no significant other, and no grandiose goals other than to propagate her crops across the world. So it was off to the frontier, to find someone and hopefully find herself.

Reasons for come to the frontier: Find a husband and find a purpose beyond the cultivation of her fungal crops.

Background: An orphan dropped at the Church of the Trinity, Artemide was raised in an Abbey for his entire life. Raised among gentle priests and clerics, his wants and needs cared for. All questions and doubts he had were addressed in lively debate and at age thirteen he was given the easiest choice of his life. Go free to live on his own, a sack of gold and blessings or to give his soul back to God and become what he already was, a crusading priest of God, a protector of the weak and champion of the Three in One.

Artemide felt no hesitation as he was accepted into the church and adorned as such. His becoming one of research, warfare, and honing of the gifts that God had bestowed upon him.

Reasons for come to the frontier: At his age, and with the state of the Church being stable, it was decided that he would be sent to the frontier to defend the holdings of the souls living there. To champion his ideals and be truly tested as his body was to be on its own for the first time in life.

Clothing: Usually when questing, she wears a long white robe with black accents. Her base clothing underneath is a black sleeveless shoulder free turtleneck top (sometimes as a crop top) and black shorts with black thigh highs in summer. In winter, her base clothing is rather a black knee length turtleneck dress and warm black leggings/tights with black stockings. In free time, she will wear knee-length dresses with usually a plain black choker. Nightgown is usually either a button up ankle length white dress with a black choker, sometimes a black sleeveless lacy dress with a choker. Footwear is usually boots when questing and ballerina flats when on "dates".

Abilities:

Undeath [Revive] - Through misusing death magic through ways the death god hadn't intended, Ayasha revives people by "undeathing" them. The exact way how it works is never mentioned by Ayasha. But some consider what she would be capable of it she used death magic as it was intended to.

Uninjure [Heal] - Basically, just healing by reverse using death magic.

Uncurse [Purify/Dispel] - Removing curses and ailments.

Black Flame Fist - Combining abyssal magic with hand to hand combat, one of her powerful moves is the Black Flame Fist. It is at least capable of obliterating goblins before turning them to ash.

Black Flame Kick - Like the Black Flame Fist, but as a kick.

Death Grips - A throwing move said to age the enemy by a year.

Hand of Varasha - Ayasha's ultimate move. A sudden death move. Only way to not die is to either have level five divine barrier or higher or to dodge the attack. Those who narrowly dodged the attack, have not only seen their lives flash before their eyes but has seen a glimpse of the death god and the afterlife.

Personality: Ayasha is overall rather the friendly and active type, yet at the same time she is scheming and has ploys to get her crush to engage in romance with her. Though she really like her childhood friend. Ever since when they were kids when he promised to marry her, she wanted to make it come to fruition. Her main ploy is that she was female once and was cursed and only true love can turn her back into a woman. But if all things fail, she is willing to get rid of that to get her crush to love her. She doesn't mind other women near her crush as long as they don't touch him or flirt with him. Ayasha is also a ruthless fighter out in the field and can be a little sadistic too. Towards her crush she is a little obsessive.

Background: Ayasha grew up in a village far away. She and her crush would play regularly and were pretty close. One day, her crush promised to marry her when they were all grown up. But back then, her crush thought she was actually female and not an effeminate boy. Eventually when they grew older, Ayasha went to the temple to become a priestess, but she didn't get the blessing to use the healing abilities priestesses would get. Eventually the temple found out that she wasn't exactly female and kicked her out. Ayasha would get by, by doing adventuring quests as a fighter and became really skilled. One day, she came across an old man in a black robe with a really long white beard. He was looking for an apprentice to become a death mage and a follower of the death god Varasha. She trained hard under him. But when he was on his death bed, Ayasha told him of her plan to use death mage to heal people. The shock of her master killed him earlier than expected. Eventually, she found out about her crush going to the frontier and she would follow him, hoping that he wouldn't mind what gender his partner is and marry them.

Reasons for come to the frontier: Not only a new start but to follow her childhood friend to the frontier.

PERSONALITY ` Akeso has always been a fairly thoughtful, one who prefers to think carefully about a situation as opposed to acting suddenly. With the belief that every situation is different with unique variables, he can be seen as indecisive - his actions not always lining up with each other. However he undoubtedly as a strong moral compass, and isn't the type to manipulate others. Infact, he's a rather honest man, who you can count on to be truthful. He's somewhat blunt really, but has enough smarts to know how to brooch sensitive subjects tenderly.
He comes off as someone endlessly calm, not the type to let things bother him. With a very cool headed demeanor, it's hard to ruffle him. Though in the face of company, his more light hearted and teasing side will show. He's best for quiet yet still meaningful company, not loud or one to display especially animated emotions.
BACKGROUND ` Akeso grew up in a fairly normally manner, in a close knit elven community that was reasonably prosperous. He was very content with life and did all the normal things one might expect; from making friends to getting into trouble. Surprisingly he was a bit of a brat when he was a kid, but his parents usually made him sit and think rather then the typical punishment - leading him to be very conscious of every action.
He never really planned to leave, but a friend he was close with had big dreams of starting up and adventuring party. Akeso didn't necessarily care per say, but the idea of seeing the world and bringing back his knowledge to help his community flourish was enough to get him to go.
So, off he went. For about a year or so, it was alright. He formed a party with people who held similar tastes. Young and eager to prove themselves, they tackled challenge after challenge - big dreams and plans. Unfortunately, such dreams don't happen overnight, which led to the discontentment of some. And eventually the hard work they were putting in began to lack. As a result, mistakes were made and frustrations mounted, causing petty arguments.
Akeso eventually left, the toxic atmosphere and pointing fingers getting to be too much. As a result he headed off to find another party, and hopefully people who he was on the same page with.
REASONS FOR COMING TO FRONTIER ` New opportunities and needing a change in scenery in general.

Clothing style: Seeris’ clothing, both on and off an adventure tends to follow a similar color scheme: dark purple with accents of black and gold. It has a bit of an aristocratic flair to it with its pompous sleeves and tight collar. While out on a quest she keeps her hair tied up with a black bow, and lets it down while relaxing. Her off time clothing consists typically of silk clothing for maximum comfort.

Life Leech: Seeris steals the life essence from a target to grant it to herself, either healing minor wounds or empowering her abilities.
Raise undead: Not a resurrection spell, Seeris is able to summon a mindless spirit to control a corpse and fight under her command.
Walking bomb: Seeris raises a corpse and pumps it full of necrotic energy before sending it racing after foes to explode.
Grasping Hands: Seeris summons skeletal hands to reach from the ground and root foes.
Wraith step: Seeris travels through the spirit realm for a single second, allowing her to reemerge back into the material realm a short distance away from her starting point.
Weapons: The only weapon Seeris carries is a small Rome to channel her spells through, and a shoddy dagger that has never seen use.
Equipment: Seeris came to the frontier with the last few bits of money she had left, a small chest of different perfumes, an assortment of random bones.
Alignment: Neutral Evil - She is not evil in the classic sense. She doesn’t want to take over the world or just kill anyone who slights her. She still works well with others and helps other people out, just sometimes she puts her own needs first and foremost.
Personality: Seeris is one to sit back and let others do the hard work. Not to say she won’t have your back out in the field, but she won’t be anywhere near the front of the group. She has a taste for expensive things and longs for the day she can return to it. She also has an eye for anything she sees might be valuable, easily getting distracted or lured at the chance to obtain whatever it is she wants. She’s quick witted and sarcastic, loves to tease, and talks with bravado. Though she may put up a front she does have a rather kind side to her, one that cares for others deeply. Though she often uses her minions to do errands for her, she treats them all as if they were her close friends.
Background: Seeris grew up in a wealthy household where all of her needs were met. Her lifestyle was luxurious and only rarely did she ever have to lift a finger to get something done. But even then, that was too much for her at times. Her family was rooted in magic, each of them learning a set of spells in an affinity of their choice. But for Seeris, rather than touching into healing magic like her father, or the elementals like her siblings, instead decided to go the route of necromancy. Not for reasons such as talking with the dead or attempting to find a way to immortality, but so that she could have little skeletal butlers to do as she wished.

Her spending habits were an inconvenience to her family despite their wealth. Despite numerous warnings to cut down on the spending, the were all subsequently ignored. Fed up with her, and with the uncanny undead companions constantly roaming about Seeris was kicked out of her home and told not to come back until she had enough to pay off what she owed. Struggling to find work the necromancer eventually found a pamphlet detailing the wonders of the frontier. With nowhere else to go she decided to take what little belongings she had left and head to her new life.
Reasons for come to the frontier: To make enough money to return home. Or marry rich. Whatever comes first.

Appearance: Ciel is a tall and muscular woman though one could hardly tell since most of her body is covered at all times. She stands at around 6'5''/195cm and weights around 132lbs/60 kg. Her hair is short though longer on one side, with her pencil dark hair that contains streaks of gold a symbol of her god.
Clothing style: Ciel usually wears her priestly attire though it might appear as military uniform it is simply what the priest of the god of war Agaroth wears. Keeping herself to shades of black and gold within her clothing both with her questing uniform and her casual clothing, though preferringa cozy black turtleneck dress with either black leggings or tights.

Summary



Zophia is a brilliant plague doctor whose life is a volatile mix of ambition and indulgence. Her sharp tongue and unpredictable behavior make her both feared and despised. She thrives on the chaos she creates. While her work is truly for the betterment of others to rid the world of monsters and filth. Her true motivation is her insatiable thirst for recognition, pleasure, and the thrill going into the unknown. To her nothing is off limits if it serves her desires.

Zophia's pride is both her greatest strength and her greatest weakness. She carries herself with a confidence of steel, yet this is constantly undermined by the gnawing insecurity of being overlooked. Praise and compliments send her into a frenzy of delight, but their absence fuels her rage! Emotional entanglements are distractions, yet she craves validation and power over others. This girl is full of contradictory impulses that are reflected in her actions.

Recently she had a realization. Her work might end with her death! The thought of her legacy fading terrifies her. Not because she fears death, but because her name and achievements might be forgotten. Her solution is simple to her. She will find a husband to create the "perfect heir" who will continue her work.

Zophia approaches the task with a lack of restraint. She evaluates potential suitors with a mix of clinical curiosity and lustful desire. Background:


Zophia was born in a small rural town in the heart of a swamp. The town was known for its abundance of herbal plants and its trees that intertwined like a web. Her mother was a respected healer while her father was a gambler whose sporadic hunting skills barely sustained the family. They lived on scraps, with her mother’s earnings as their main source of income The marriage of her parents was one of necessity, not affection. They paid little attention to Zophia. Life was uneventful for her.

Everything changed when a group of adventurers ventured into a nearby dungeon. They returned semi-victorious, bearing loot but visibly weakened. Their skin was pale, and they struggled to carry their spoils. No one in the village noticed these signs until the following day, when a deadly plague began to spread. The adventurers were the first to succumb, and the village fell into chaos. With no outside help, the villagers turned to Zophia’s mother whose healing skills became their only hope. Zophia assisted her by disposing of the growing number of corpses while her father fell ill, forcing her mother to work tirelessly.

The fragile equilibrium shattered when Zophia’s mother herself became sick. With no one else capable of treating the victims Zophia took up her mother’s mantle. She donned her mother’s garb and mask and she attempted to save the village. Desperation drove her to untested methods. She experimented on the villagers, mixing medicines and remedies in a frantic bid to halt the disease. Some perished under her care, but her relentless efforts ultimately saved the village—and her parents. Though noone forgot the methods she used to save them.

For the first time, Zophia earned her parents’ attention. Her father saw her as a source of profit, parading her around to sell her potions and reaping the earnings for himself. Her mother saw a pupil worthy of rigorous training, pouring all her knowledge into Zophia during every waking moment. Though Zophia resented their exploitation, she also craved their fleeting praise.

Life took another turn when a new group of adventurers arrived to finally clear the dungeon. Zophia joined them, not to protect them, but to uncover the source of the plague. Together they ventured deep into the dungeon and discovered a corrupted tree spirit. The adventurers defeated the spirit, but its dying act unleashed a devastating wave of spores. The plague surged back into the village, more deadly than ever.

This time Zophia made a fateful decision. Tired of being unappreciated and exploited, she chose not to return to the village. She fled with the surviving adventurers, using her skills and their magic to ensure their survival barely. Days later, she learned that the village had been wiped out. Though she occasionally wondered if she could have made a difference by staying.

Zophia’s journey continued with various adventuring parties. She honed her craft, bent on destroying monsters and filth. She would carry on her mother's work.
