'Did he just pet her?' Fenrir watches confused and slightly awed at Aaron's nerve.

Fenrir shakes his head exasperated, "I'm emotional about the things I care about. I told you my history to try and help you understand why I'm resolved to this cause. I'm not asking you to care, nor do I care what you or anyone else thinks, but I've been training myself for the past 8 years for this day. You have no idea what my resolve can do, and if you want to test my competence angry one, then I can just show you. That is if you truly want to see the extent of it." Fenrir states looking down at her, with his arms still folded.

"If you're really so against this situation, then just leave. It's as you said, you have no obligation to be here, and if you were brought here forcefully; it's not like they can force you to fight for them once you leave. I'm pretty sure they'll have more pressing things to worry about than to drag you back." Fenrir adds, his face completely neutral.

Elise had simply observed the meeting with the other "heroes" (calling a lot of them that felt rather generous if she were being honest), trying to get a grasp on everyone's personality. It seemed that the archmage was the level-headed type. The Goliath spoke her mind and seemed to have a decent head on her shoulders as well. The one from the Ocean Goddess tribe seemed to be friendly enough despite being more than a little odd. The lavender-haired elf was quiet and was clearly uncomfortable with the whole situation. The tall blonde man seemed to be the quiet type as well but she had a feeling he was holding himself back for some reason. The fox-boy with the illusion magic seemed friendly if a bit rascally. The one who introduced himself as a tamer was kind but clearly had some issues with his father. The dragon-looking girl hadn't said anything and was glued to the princess' which made sense from what Elise had heard she was a sort of bodyguard for the king's daughter. She noticed the pale elf sitting up in the rafters but couldn't formulate an opinion on him due to the distance between them. The cat woman was clearly upset about having to fight the demons which was understandable as she had likely not heard of this until a few days ago having grown up outside the castle whatnot. The other wizard was clearly what was called a "space-case". The witch was as uncomfortable as the elf he had gravitated toward but seemed slightly more social. The six-armed one had gotten involved in a spat with the cat woman but seemed to have his heart in the right place. Last and seemingly least, the girl with the dark, curly hair seemed to have decided to deny destiny and not participate. A motley crew to say the least.

As they were making their way to dinner, Elise decided to intervene in the argument between six-arms and the cat woman. "Look if you two must argue, perhaps you should settle your differences with a spar after the feast. But in the meantime just let the other do their thing." She stopped for a moment before getting a look of realization on her face, "You probably don't want to hear that from a stranger. My name's Elise Lyon, and now that you know me you should strongly consider doing as I suggested." It was clear to all involved that while Elise can understand the general personalities of people, she can't interact with them to save her life.

5193E10A-7606-45B9-A534-4A94EA4D5D1B.jpegInnuo quietly faded into the background of the more colorful characters here and before the feast was even announced had already reconciled that this would be more difficult than just crushing a demons neck or two but he knew one thing, sitting here and bickering while they ate would do nothing about the trouble that awaited them. The boy left the hall and found himself wandering the castle his mind swirling in the past of his few visits here. Running through the grand entrances and marbled structures into the courtyard with the others all at a young age, but now everyone had changed and most he didn’t even know anymore to be honest. They were all different but Innuo, Innuo has never really changed and as a consequence he was alone like always.
“Soon words won’t matter much...”
he breathed aloud to himself regaining a measure of his confidence now that he was alone. His eyes affixed to the sky outside a stained glass window, lost in thought.
So much had happened since they came to this world and so much more had to be done, yet the hope that maybe this would be the way they could return. He seemed to be the only one that wanted that still.
His mother, his real mother that he never got to say goodbye to. Who’s last words were see you tonight only for him to awaken in another world as a bawling infant.
sixteen years never knowing where or what happened to him. Did she search?, was she still searching?, or had she given up....
A sigh escaped him as he shook the thoughts from his mind.
Innuo sat down in the hallway waiting for the others to calm down, he would return when level heads and settled appetites

They had begun to set off for the journey. It was due time to figure out who would go where and how they would split up.
Cal had come up with the idea of having them split up into three groups of five people. Gin and Kira had opted to lead two of the groups, however there was trouble decided on a leader for the third and final group. They had been trekking for an hour and made it to the countryside away from the Morningstar Kingdom. They had packed up supplies and taken what they deemed necessary.

Gin had taken the time to address the group.
"So who besides Aaron wants to join my group? And who wants to join the other two groups?" She said speaking up. She still didn't know everyone too well but knew the other children that had been raised among the castle. Much of her time consisted of spending time with the other children and being taught in secret by Theo, her Archmage Master.

Cal on the otherhand thought he should join Kira's group and had raised his hand excitedly to do so.
"I would love to join Kira's group if that's fine?" He said. He had always thought that the idea of accompanying children of prophecy was abit strange, considering he wasn't actually from a different world he thought technically he wouldn't be considered part of the prophecy, which as far as he could tell, he wasn't. But still he was excited to go on an adventure, having spent too much time growing up cooped up in the castle.

Gin nodded in thought. It was difficult to ask people to decide but they needed to be sure of what groups would be formed.

Scathach continues to stroll along before giving a shrug of her wide shoulders "I mean you kinda decided yourselves on the whole leader thing so might as well continue the trend, I mean no idea what anyone here can really do and just saying it is not really the best way to get an understanding..." idly glancing between each of those who claimed themselves a leader "So might as well just have it random or by gut, Not fussy myself regarding travelling company so ill partner alongside whoever" carrying onwards down the road at her steady pace as she speaks, pulling out a map to glance at for a few moments "Personally i was going to head over to check the people started getting their grains and the rest in, if it turns into a siege or something like that might want to keep the people fed so theres not something worse than the demons to deal with."
