Enough time to do things like dance covers, drawing, film editing, basically anything I haven't had time to do over the year, and of course cooking. I really enjoy cooking, but never really had time to do it during the school year. This journal will be all things food related that happened to be made by me, I know I probably should be writing responses to ups or something, but I have a serious case of writer's block thanks to stressing myself out over exam. Hopefully, cooking and doodling will help me push through it. Here is the meal I made tonight, it took me an hour to make because in all honesty, I'm not a great nor experienced cook. I made three plates full of salad for my parents and I, it tasted amazing even though I didn't really follow a recipe. It has spinach, blueberries, mandarin oranges, goat cheese, pecans, strawberries, and a poppyseed dressing I made. If any of you guys want to replicate it, let me know and I'll give you the recipe for the dressing.

Whoa, that looks amazing. I'm from, well, an asian country. We usually for the most part don't get to eat (or even see) those kinds of cooking. That's nice :D

That looks so yummy!! I've began putting fruits in my salad recently, not too crazy about it though lol. You should try deshelled sunflower seeds or plain lime juice as a substitute for dressing. =)

I had two years of Cooking School. I'm a more or less good cook. I like doing stews, Pizza and other dishes. I'm a firm believer of rustic, homey food rather than over elaborated gourmet dishes

I totally should do both! Honestly, I wasn't too fond of the dressing I used because it turned out kind of fluky, so I'll try using lime juice like you suggested next time. :3
