Happy to hear it. We (the group as a whole) can probably keep planning things out here like usual,but to keep things brisk as is the purpose of this RP,I figured it couldn't hurt to think ahead a bit.

Time for a silly question: If your character were having a nightmare, what would it be about? (Don't feel obligated to answer if you don't feel like it!)

For Randal, he would be back in high school as his homeroom teacher, Mrs. Thompson, told them all that the test he had been studying for was suddenly cancelled and no credit would be assigned. He was ready for that test...and he needed it to graduate on time! NOOOOooooo!

Under normal circumstances, something about her parents. I picture some nightmare of them growing into increasingly enormous shadows.

Alternatively, I could see her having nightmares about food if she's really under a lot of stress.

"The Banana Republic jury calls the defendant, Kona, to the stand! No, you cannot eat the prosecution."

Sweet, I enjoyed reading everyone’s posts! Pretty cool to witness how they either manifested or how everyone found creative ways to survive the drop.

As far as getting to one location goes- I was considering having Gabriel travel wherever on his own- following the group from a distance? Kind of watching from afar. Then engaging with them after he has found the courage or seen something that makes him trust them.

Gabriel probably dreams about rats taking over the world. He saw Ratatouille at a young age and was traumatized by the scene where they all run out of the old ladies house. Also, I think later in his teen years his family moved near the river to an old house that had a rat problem for awhile. Turned out there was something dead in the crawlspace attracting them and they nested there.

One night he has a dream about one crawling on him only to wake up with a rat jumping off his nightstand onto his chest. His dad finally called the exterminator that morning. Since then he’s had dreams about a “Planet of the Rats” type world, experienced living among them in dreams. Being chased, pursued by the rats lol- sometimes making friends with the chill ones.

As far as getting to one location goes- I was considering having Gabriel travel wherever on his own- following the group from a distance? Kind of watching from afar. Then engaging with them after he has found the courage or seen something that makes him trust them.

That could be an idea, though you risk having very little interaction that way. There would also be two practical issues to solve:
A) The area seems to largely be a plains. There are ponds and vegetation but not much in a way of places to hide. If Gabriel was following the group, he'd probably be pretty easy to spot and sooner or later the characters would notice this other person following them.
B) Characters have different temperaments and responses. Kona is certainly the type of character to go try to help people without thinking first and some others seem like the type to go pick a fight with a presumed stalker.

Probably the easiest way to do this would be for him to have some way to hide properly, while following them? Do you have any thoughts in that regard?

My own suggestion would be to try to use some worldbuilding (since we apparently have freedom to that in this RP) to address the issue. Off the top of my head, maybe Gabriel could find some kind of shallow tunnel network. Just throwing stuff at a wall for now though.

As an aside, I can really see Kona accidentally finding out Gabriel is following them and starting leaving him food. Kind of like feeding a weary stray animal. Wholesome.

Yeah I considered that, just Gabriel is a very socially awkward person and wary personality so I figured he’d want to be independent at first to judge whether he’d be safe around them.

That’s a good point- I was considering having him literally follow on hands and knees in the tall grass.

Aww I love that. Maybe Kona can be one of the first or only ones to notice theyre being followed? Makes for good dynamics later on in the RP love a wholesome moment. Could be Gabriel chooses to trust them because of Kina’s kindness and reveals himself.

Okay so after talking with Coryen2 seems like he is well adjusted power wise for remaining hidden and pretty low to the ground in the grass. Given his perfect balance has to do with being able to shift his own center of gravity. Also, will probably have him make camouflage out of the inside of one of the giant flower plants.

This brings me to an important question: If you end up missing the posting window, how would you like your character to be brought along so that you can post later? For example: assume the character is present but keeping silent? Pretend they are not there to directly interact with? Let you write a retroactive post about how you were there and what you were thinking about/doing that doesn't interfere with what has already happened? Something else?

You can assume Sora is having some kind of inner monologue, or if in peacock form, doing a self inspection.

If necessary, you can assume Kona is just doing what an average person would be doing, however ideally the best would be sending me a message OOC for some quick thoughts on what my character would be doing. If I didn't reply yet it's likely because I haven't had the chance to make a post I can be satisfied with (for one reason or another) but odds are I either already have something in mind for how my character would generally be in the whole situation or I can come up with something relatively quickly with a re-read of the other's latest posts.

I believe he returned to human in your post and several people by now have referred to your character as being in human form, unless of course my memory is playing tricks on me.
