Marissa sighed and put her head down on the table. She couldn't stop playing the death of Elya in her mind. And anger from the cruelty of her father caused her to clench her fists. She then sat up. "I need some air." She went outside and slid against the wall, looking off into the distance. "You are being soooo dramatic Marissa. Quit it. Get your act together."

Alex saw Marissa leave. He followed her and had been standing in the doorway for a while. After a few minutes had passed he walks outside and slups down next to Marissa. "Marissa. We need your help." He grabs her hand. "I need your help." He pauses. "Marissa we are in this together. Till death do we part." Chuckling. "Don't be afraid to talk things over with me."

She wiped a tear away and couldn't help but chuckle. "I couldn't marry you. You're too perfect." She snickered. Then she frowned again. "It's just hard to process. Elya was always so cold... and never seemed to care about me all that much. Then she explains and my father... my father he-" she shouted angrily and punched the wall. Marissa started to feel tingly. She tried to calm down, and eventually sat back down. "Killed her. He will kill anyone who isn't a supernatural. And none of us know how to stop him." She sighed and rested her head on his shoulder.

Alex plays with Marissas her. He then wraps his arm around her. "Look I'll be honest. I'm not strong enough to defeat your father. Not unless I use my. My burden. But that's why we need to work together." He looks into Marissas eyes. He then kisses her. "No matter what happens I'll protect you. I promise." @Talia xP

Marissa blushed when he kissed her and she finally cracked a smile. She was comforted but still a bit tense. "But what can I offer... I barely have any fighting skills, and I'm pretty sure I don't have any powers..." she frowned. "Is it even possible to bring my father down? It would be supernaturals versus supernaturals..."

Raven watched him raise his hand and suddenly realised she didn't want him to go. The people whom she cared about, in the slightest, often died on this situations. But she didn't say anything, she didn't object. She just forced a smile and nodded.

Raven suddenly let go of his hand, now this she didn't agree with. He would've been seen helping the supers, helping her. She frowned slightly and stepped back, "you'll either convince him or be killed." She stated bluntly, "he'll more than likely know what you've done."

She swallowed dryly, that hurt and she didn't understand why. All Raven understood was that she wanted to leave now, if it ment she wouldn't have to look at him she'd even go back to the labs, biting her lip Raven looked away, "you're right, so what?" There was a long pause, "I have to..." Raven didn't finish her sentence just turned away and wondered deeper into the house and away from Max.

He grits his teeth, and starts to follow her. He jogs up, almost catching up.

She didn't say anything for a long moment, just shook hand of and stepped away, "there is no such thing as 'so what is I die.'" Raven said quietly, "if you think that life is so insignificant then go back and swap places with someone who wants to be alive." Half of what she was saying she ment, she'll admit that it's harsh. But she's right.

Raven turned to looks him. A long silence spread between them before she could force her self to say, "I care." Raven fidgeted abs looked anywhere but at him, feeling a slight stinging behind her eyes. "If you die...I'll be alone again."

Max's eyes widen a bit, very surprised with her response. His heart started to pound faster, his cheeks flushing a bright red. He didn't know what to say, he was stunned. After a minute of more silence, he closes the distance between them, his arms wrapping around her, gently pulling her in.

While all the planning was going on, Jake was in the bedroom. He was laying down and looking up at the ceiling, thinking, wondering. Ways to get in... ways to get through... it had been long enough for the hole to be fixed. There was the doors and the roof, that was all Jake knew about. He could take the roof, but he might be the only one up there... he was thinking too hard. He kept staring up, trying not to think of anything in particular.

Max looks down at her, his eyes mixed with worry, and guilt. He didn't mean to get Raven worked up like that. He never knew she liked him back, it was out of the blue for him. His hands gently rest on her shoulders before taking a step back to let her breathe. She didn't respond after what he said, and he grotted his teeth, his guilt piling up even more.


"I... I won't go by myself then, if you don't want me to die... Sorry, I was selfish with my actions.. I didn't know."

She looked up at him slowly, sighing under her breath she took one of his hands and looked at it against hers, "I'm sorry...I didn't explain." She said quietly before stepping forward to look up at him. Raven smiled and watched him quietly before dropping his hand and leaning up to gently kiss his cheek in thanks, "thank you."
