Nicholas runs at Max and slides on his side at the last minute, he targets the inside of Max's legs

 

[National]

Max jumps up, and slams his feet onto the sword, jumping back from it and throwing a stun grenade at Nicholas. He looks back at Raven, grabbing her hand and running down the hall, hoping to get to the exit in time. They burst out of the building, and Max leads her away.

Hearing the commotion two soldiers run out after them. They open fire.

 

[Cyborg Ninja]

Nicholas dodges the grenade and sprints after them "Stop running Max! I don't want to kill you!"

 

[National]

Max pushes Raven out of the range of fire, and Max gasps in pain as bullets rain onto his back. Max stumbles before pulling out his sniper rifle and dropping the soldiers with non lethal tranquilizers. He then turns back to Nicholas, nodding.


"I know you don't Nicholas. But they don't deserve this!"


And with that, he throws down a flash bang that covers the entire area. He grabs Ravens hand again, and with the last bit of strength, leads her away from the building, vanishing from sight with her.

Nicholas throws a sword in Max's general direction and falls onto his back "fuck my eyes! My ears too!"

Nicholas rips the goggles off "fuck I'm blind" he can't see anything at all "I CAN'T HEAR EITHER!" Nicholas stays on his back

More soldiers stream out. "Sir, what do we do? Sir? Crap help him up!. Two soldiers pick him up. Some more soldiers grab the unconscious Alphas.

Nicholas blinks repeatedly and yells "where the fuck was backup?!"

 

[Alex Zephyr]

The soldier salutes "Sir the situation is chaotic. Those two super naturals are freeing others left and right. We held them off so you could pursue Max." Pointing " I sent those two to help. But." He drops the salute. "Look we can't hold back this many supers. I gave my men the order to fall back to the maximum security area. It's were we keep the dangerous supers. The criminals. It's absolutely imperative that we don't let those two free any from that section.

Nicholas nods "good job soldier, lets go" he walks back into the building "my ears are ringing, fetch me some lightweight armour quickly" he sighs "this has gone to shit"

They continue running. Gunfire and explosions sound off everywhere. On the way they stop by the smaller armory near the maximum prison area. It's nearly empty.


All the heavy armor is gone. A few suppressor grenades hang on a belt.


"Sir I had the men grab this." Giving him his other sword. "Sir. There are reports of men dropping their weapons and deserting their posts. I've always prided myself in keeping a tight ship. But even I can see the worry in their eyes. They would appreciate it if an officer spoke to them. @Cyborg Ninja

Nicholas grabs his other sword and sighs "where's the General? Did he desert us too?"

(Basically Max has pulled Raven out of the building. Two soldiers opened fire, but Max got in front of her, and took all the bullets hit Max. Max pulled Raven out into the forest, that's where they are @JustCallMeAimee )

"Of course not sir" He pulls out a map. "Floors two and three are completely overrun. They've moved down here and have started freeing prisoners. More or less the only real secure area is here. The maximum security section. The fourth floor is entirely secure. General Lance took some men up there and has barricaded the stairs.


Last I heard he was heading towards Elyas office." @Cyborg Ninja
