Fantasy Hunters VS Hunted (Not Accepting. Sorry!)

Jake was still in a sort of trance, when he saw the person fall. He very quickly jumped out of the window and grabbed him, protecting him from the fall. He hadn't used his wings in a while, so this was the time to try them. He snapped them open, tearing holes in the back of his shirt. He used them to slow the fall, gliding to the ground.

Crap. Focusing Alex creates an ice slide capable of saving the snipers life. "Damn, sorry. I know you were just doing your job"

Hmph well then. I pull myself back up. When I regain full consciousness, I suddenly turn back. Turns towards Alex "Dude! That was totally wicked. Although I feel super tired. That was the best feeling ever!"

The guard was still knocked unconscious when he was caught, his eyes gently closed. The tranq was sticking out from his chest as he falls into a deep sleep.

Jake flew him back up to the 4th floor, where the others were. "He's asleep," he said, landing and folding his wings back to their tattoo state. "What should we do with him?"

Walks over to the device at the center of the room. And opens it. (Inside is an unconscious Marissa)


Picks her up. Transforming into his defensive form. @Foundry "Look don't worry about him. He was hired to kill us. He's likely either extremely high up within this or another military organization. You are only jeopardizing our lives by taking him. They aren't going to let him die. A spec ops team is likely on their way as we speak. They hunt and kill supernaturals everyday! Looks at him tears in his eyes. Yells. "If that happens there's nothing we can do to save ourselves. Nothing I can do to save her. Whispers " I'll be too weak"

Puts a hand on Alex's shoulder. Wispers it will be ok. Shouts now let's get the hell out of here. Jumps down skipping the slide. Makes a small crater apon landing. Well that was fun

Jake looked at the man. He looked so peaceful in the ugliness of battle. He set him down softly and looked up. "Fine." he said, "Though I don't like it, you're right. We have to. He'll be fine. But for now, where do we go?"

Jake jumped out of the building and instead of taking the ice slide, opened up his wings again and soared down, stopping just before the ground, where they folded back, and were suddenly gone, back to the tattoo. "That's quite the goal," he said, curiously.

"Look there is a city nearby we should head to it" Begins walking towards the city

Jake, still taking in the events, casually walked towards the city.

Looks down at Marissa. Her expression is calm. She appears to be fine, gracefully sleeping. When a gust of wind blows her hair forward. He brushes it away. And then looks around flustered. "Uh We're almost there guys" The city limits just within reach.

They reach the outskirts of the city. Points over at an abandoned warehouse "Look we'll be safe over there."

Jake was watching Alex carry the girl. "Alex, why did you take her, but not the other man?" he asked
