It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Sgt. Abraham looks between Lucky and David, then at Johnny. "Guess this is goodbye, ol' pal." He sticks a hand out for a handshake.
Johnny takes his hand with his new robotic limb and shakes it. "You too, boy. Bring back some souvenirs if you're still alive, eh?" The older man laughs. Abraham chuckles in response.
"No guarantees. Things're getting wild out there. Feels like an all-out war that keeps getting worse. And I'm all outta practice."
"Then start practicin', son! These boys ain't gonna be able to leave you alone for a second!"
"Guess not. But that's why I have 'em." Abraham turns around and glances at Lucky and David. You can almost see his smile under his helmet.
"Heh. Hey, now I ain't got much myself, but lemme go grab some supplies for ya' for when you're out on the Pandoran desert. You good with me riflin' through your stuff, Abe?"
"Nothing in there that I can hide from you anymore, John."
Johnny goes back inside his house and then inside Abraham's, bringing back a sack of supplies and handing it to David.
"Ya' got water, canned food, and some trail mix in there, plus whatever medpacks we have. Don't be usin' it all at once."
"Thanks, John. I owe you one."
"Your debts've been paid off for the next lifetime, Abe," Johnny says and flexes his prosthetic arm.
Abraham then looks back at his two new allies. "So, we heading out or what?"
