After a few minutes of not hearing Psychos scream about eat people's personalities or taking their organs out to make a birthday cake for their dog and not hearing footsteps, they were most likely not there. Skye stepped out, running towards where she heard Rocket. Of course, there were maybe like what? Five bandits on the way there? They were easy enough, just fill them full of bullets. But the great thing about this SMG was that thanks to the wonderful people at Dahl, this was a slag SMG.
Now she would've just pulled out her pistol and hit them with corrosive bullets since when she hit them, they got slagged and that meant any element would deal more damage. But, she was a bit of in a hurry, so she just kept firing at them until they dropped dead. It was easier than switching weapons after all.
Eventually after opening fire on bandits, which was really just two more, she reached Rocket on a Technical and the aftermath of what he did. "Oh hey, nice job there... Rocket, was it?" Then, she heard some Psychos yelling about wanting to suck some old man toes and then heard them notice her.
Probably cause they then decided to say they wanted to suck her toes.
Sighing that they interrupted the conversation, she took out a grenade and threw it back as it stuck to the one at the front. "So, you found a Technical. Good work." When they got closer, it pulled the Psychos closer and as soon as they were only a little bit behind her, the grenade went off and sent them flying over her and landed directly beside the Technical.
"We can use this to pick up anyone that needs to head back to the shack-." She stopped once she saw a Psycho running at them from the right side of the car, screaming about how some guy peed on the moon, Elpis, cause someone peed on said guy's wife. He wasn't that far away, only within shooting distance. Sighing, she switched to her pistol. "Hold on a second." Stepping a bit to the side, she aimed and fired a few bullets into him. Now, she would've just grabbed her shotgun and finished him off, but these were corrosive bullets, there wasn't any way he was going to survive it.
As the Psycho got closer, it eventually fell over with the places where the bullets were starting to look like someone poured acid there. She switched back to the SMG, keeping it ready. "Hopefully that's the last of them for... a few minutes."
Honestly, she wasn't sure as bandits and Psychos on Pandora were unpredictable. Well, with bandits they weren't really that unpredictable, it was the Psychos that were the unpredictable ones. They weren't called that for nothing. "So, we can stay here and kill any bandit and Psychos that comes our way, picking up people after the fight with the Technical, go and pick up people that need to get healed back at the shack with, again, the Technical, or take this and shoot every bandit and Psycho in a drive by shooting. Personally, I don't mind either one, as long as we use this Technical, but it's your call."
