Senya simply went through the motions as they set the bait for Gluttony and let Loque and the others take the rein for this one. When Loque brought out her signature dish, she wished she could see the look on the Icon’s face when he reacted. The deed was done nevertheless, and the group left the scene. It was only when Senya’s amusement suddenly turned to confusion once Loque yelled to stop the wagon.

“Loque, what’s going on?” She asked, seeing the demon just take off without a second thought. Until they all stumbled upon a decrepit homestead, Senya tilting her head and assumed Loque had a personal connection to the place. It was then when Loque’s confessed to her most heinous sins. Senya knew all of them had troubled pasts and experiences.

The Warden walked closer to Lo- Leakhena and sighed, “I told myself, we’re gonna see through this to the end. What happened is now in the past, Leakhena. Seriphine is right, we need to stick together.” She said before someone on a different side arrived, coming to kill Leakhena.

Senya sighed harshly, lighting up a fireball at the fallen angel. “Looks like somebody didn’t go to heaven.” She said in a dry manner while hurling the fireball.

Leakhana fired off her shot as the fireball rocketed towards her from Irin's sword. The shot connected, piercing Irin's shoulder as the fireball collided and sent Leakhana sailing backwards into the side of her family's house. Gwen's shot hit Irin next, ripping through Irin's thigh. Next came a far bigger object than a bullet. Ripping up the old outhouse, Henderson flung it as hard as he could at Irin, whom attempted to move out of the way to dodge it. And she would have...had Takato not redirected the outhouse. With a simple nudge, he corrected its course and it slammed into Irin. Knocking her from out of the sky and onto the ground. The outhouse exploded as it landed atop her, sending chunks of wood and other disgusting features flying about.

As Irin stood, enraged and covered in filth, Seriphine's daggers drove deep into Irin's torso just before a fireball collided with Irin from Senya. It only forced her to stumble, a testament to the fallen angel's strength, but someone would soon dart in and deliver a vicious slice across the angel's stomach. Inari had closed the distance, striking before moving away quickly. Then, more shots peppered Irin, from both Kassidy and Vincent's weaponry.

 

[Doomevil]

After the fireball landed against Irin, Senya could sped up her momentum. She got closer to the fallen angel in an effort to get the heat out of Loque and casted a series of smaller fireballs at the enemy. It was a scenario where they had little time before Irin could do some serious damage to one of them.

 

[ANIMAL MOTHER]

Leakhena writhes in pain as she's intensely slammed onto the walls of her house. Disturbing memories flood her mind as she lays on the ground, trying to fight through the pain and stand up again. She puts out the embers still burning on her coat as she leaps through a window to take cover behind. Now with something else blocking Irin from her, she raises her rifle and takes another shot.

Meanwhile, Irin pauses for just a second to inspect herself. She looks down at her cloak, all covered in splinters, mud, holes, and other indescribable splatters of filth. The gunshots might've hurt, but being covered in this gunk brings her to the last limits of her patience. "Oh... YOU BASTARD!" she screams at Henderson. She rips her filth-covered cloak off and tosses it aside, revealing her shining angelic armor and a barbed whip dangling off her belt. With her free hand, she wields it and begins cracking it wildly as she charges towards him.

Takato smirked after having managed to steer the outhouse into its intended target, likely with the angel none the wiser. As the fallen angel took more attacks, the hermit paid attention to Leakhena, noting how it seemed that, while her vitals seemed to be good despite the strike sending her flying back, there was something more to the fallen angel's attack that was impacting her. For all he could suspect, that was just the angel being very serious in their intentions.

After Leakhena made her shot, and as the angel charged Henderson, Takato began to close the gap, to draw further attention away from the poor lass. And what better way to do so than to try and use the same trick twice? Holding his hand towards the angel, he aimed to take control of her barbed whip, and strike her with her own weapon (or perhaps even restrain her)! Surely his grasp on Abyssal qi had improved enough to allow him to do such an act, but considering they were still an angel, it was a risk. But a barbed whip used by an angel should be able to damage angelic armor, no?

If nothing else, this would allow him to gauge some of his mystic ability. And to see whom Heaven favored more.

 

[Viper Actual]

With her target no longer up on the roof Seriphine redirects herself mid-motion. In one swift acrobatic motion she jumps off of the barn and attempts to deliver a quick dual-slice to Irin as she passes over her and roll into cover.

 

[Breadman]

"Your nice clothes got ruined?" Henderson mocked "Join the club you high and mighty slag." He prepared for the hit as she charged. He planned to beat her down and no fancy armor was going to protect her.

Senya let loose a volley of fireballs, attempting to strike Irin as she charged towards Henderson. Sadly, Irin saw them coming. She dodged them with ease, and even deflected a few with her sword or hand. Angelic magic, it seemed. Leakhana took her shot, the bullet ripping through Irin's arm and forcing a groan from the fallen angel. But she remained focused.

And as Henderson and Irin met, Henderson delivered some vicious punches. Irin took them in stride, before flicking her bladed whip and striking at him. Takato's magic didn't seem to stop the bladed whip as it arched and cracked, slicing and shredding the hulk's flesh and muscle. Something was off about this bladed whip, though. Henderson kept bleeding, as she flicked the whip back and moved away. The pain was growing to excruciating levels as well. What the hell kind of whip was it?

As Irin backed away, Seriphine's surprise aerial dive caught the fallen angel across the back, forcing her to yell out and stumble away. Gwen fired off a shot, which ripped through the angel's torso, and soon Irin rushed in to strike once more. This time, she would miss, as Irin stumbled out of the way. And right into Kassidy and Vincent's crosshairs. Kassidy unleashed hell from her pistols, emptying both as she nailed Irin across her body. Vincent's rifle shots were punctuation, sending the angel stumbling backwards onto her rear.

But she wasn't done. Irin climbed back to her feet more determined than ever.

 

[Breadman]

Now while she was distracted, Henderson pressed his own attack. The pain from the whip was only fueling him to kill the angel faster.

Takato looked somewhat saddened to find that he hadn't yet gotten used to the Abyssal qi enough to prevent the bladed whip from shredding Henderson. However, just as he noted with Leakhena, something was up with Henderson - despite the whip having moved away, he could feel growing pain from the big guy. Was it the angel's weapons, or was it something about the angel themself?

He couldn't dwell on the thought for too long, having to act fast as Henderson charged the angel. With one hand, he aimed some qi orbs towards Henderson, with the intent on healing, while with the other, he aimed qi orbs towards the angel, with the intent on hurting.

 

[Doomevil]

The Warden narrowed her eyes, lowering her left hand and pulled out her shield.
Senya attempted to aim at the fallen angel and launch another series of fireballs, this time the magic being a lot bigger than the previous volley in hopes of pinning her down. She walked closer as a result and wielded her shield with her free arm.

 

[Viper Actual]

With lethal grace Seriphine moved to attack once more. Like so many others before her Irin would be next target of a dance-like attack as Seriphine unleashed her signature dual-blade attack.

 

[ANIMAL MOTHER]

Leakhena keeps firing rounds at Irin, while Irin isn't letting up her assault on Henderson. She strikes him again with her whip.

Henderson charged Irin once more, swinging wildly at the fallen angel. Determined to put her down. But instead, she would counter and put the big man on the ground herself using her bladed whip. She sliced his flesh again with the whip, as Takato nearby attempted to heal Henderson but failed. And soon, the wounds were far too grievous to withstand. Henderson soon collapsed into a heap, bleeding profusely. Before Irin could direct her attention to someone else, however, she was hit by Takato's qi orbs as well as Senya's fireballs and Seriphine's dual bladed strikes. Irin moved to attempt to avoid getting hit again, but was shot by Leakhana, Gwen, Kassidy, and Vincent before being struck viciously by Inari. She still wasn't going down, however, and directed her attention to a new target.

 

[Doomevil]

Senya stopped using fireballs and opted to come close and take Irin on through melee. She pulled out Dark Shard and attempted to stab a hole into her armor.

Takato looked worryingly on as Henderson collapsed in grievous pain, and with everyone directing their full attention towards the angel, he knew what he had to do.

He rushed in as to move Henderson away from Irin, and once more try to heal him.

 

[Viper Actual]

Following Senya, Seriphine went in for a stab as well.

 

[ANIMAL MOTHER]

A decent sized puddle of spittle launches from Irin's mouth onto Henderson's bleeding and unconscious body. With that last insult finally repaid, she launches herself through the same window Leakhena hopped through and begins hacking away with her sword. Meanwhile Leakhena fumbles for her axe so she can block Irin's slashes.

Takato's attempts to revive Henderson proved successful, as Henderson's wounds rapidly healed to the point where he could get back up. Whatever that whip was, it could cause some serious damage. Senya's sword didn't stab through Irin, but did give her a nasty cut. Seriphine's did similar damage. Irin ignored them, still focused on Leakhena as Gwen's rifle shot ripped through her side. Inari rushed in and delivered another slash across her back, before Kassidy and Vincent's shots hammered into her armor. If they kept this up, they could put this fallen angel down for good.

Once Irin was in range, she swung her sword at Leakhena, whom dodged it and delivered a vicious axe chop, driving the blade of the axe into Irin's shoulder. Irin yelled out in pain, as Leakhena jerked the axe back out and quickly got away from the angel.

 

[Doomevil]

Senya ignited a flame on her blade and continued to slice through the Angel’s side and went for a shield bash also.

“You stupid bitch, are you even trying?” The Warden let out a frustrated comment, still trying to put her down.

 

[Breadman]

Henderson awoke from the pain induced faint reinvigorated and pissed off. The mutant got up and moved towards the angel with the intent of taking a bite out of her.

 

[Viper Actual]

Before Henderson could strike Seriphine circled back around, sprinted and used the mutant as a support as she gracefully jumped from his broad shoulders and towards Irin in an attempt to tackle and stab her.

 

[KRIY]

As Wesley stayed behind at the Wagon to guard it, He ponders about the last few days during the fight. He felt somewhat “free” from what he has done in the past. As much as he wants to change what he did, it would still remain with him until the day he will pass away. But the best what Wesley could do now is to change the future for himself.

His train of thought was immediately caught off short when fighting and gunshots started to occur nearby, he initially thought that they would handle what they were fighting. But soon it dragged on and the ninja was starting to get concerned, he grabbed his Ninja-to and ran into the fray. He stopped to see his companions fighting this fallen angel. He saw that the angel was fighting Loque and the others. He scan the surroundings and took it to his advantage. He manuvered himself around the area without making his prescence known. He positioned himself at the Fallen Angel’s blind side, and when he’s given the opportunity, The Ninja will move at a break-neck speed and stab his sword through the Angel’s body, hoping to kill it with one clean strike.

Takato had kept his eyes on Irin's aura, watching as she chased after Leakhena through the window. As Henderson just got up and went to beat the shit out of her, the hermit also noted the emergence of the ninja from the distance. Wasn't he supposed to guard the wagon and the man they still had? Well, if no one had come to them over the outpouring of aura from here, then, he supposed it was fine. All hands on deck, as some Adonians say.

Takato soon came after, seeing the axe cut into Irin's shoulder, and how everyone's rushing in. With a determined sigh, he watched for an opening, and decided to rush into the fight, keiyiken dragon style. Ultimately, the quickest way of ensuring no one got hurt, was to put enough pressure that their opponent collapsed, and make sure they're confused and dazed in the process. As he rushed in and dealt his strikes, he'd release his hermit aura in full, to not only show his devotion to the ways of Heaven towards one that has lost its grace, but to also knock her off-balance.

 

[ANIMAL MOTHER]

With Irin now in her house, but having successfully blocked her attacks, Leakhena once again exits to put some distance between her and Irin. Blindly in a frenzy, she fires her rifle at Irin's general direction. Meanwhile, Irin follows; coiling up her whip and letting its many barbed strands fly towards Leakhena.
