Firstly, I would like to say I am completely new to this site. I managed to find it while googling roleplaying sites and thought I would give it a shot! I used to roleplay on Gaia Online, for years and years. It's been a while since I roleplayed with anyone, life got in the way and all, but I miss it terribly and thought I'd jump back in.


Now that I'm done with college I have a great deal of free time between freelancing jobs and I'd like to meet some new people. That being said I love to chat OOC. I'm looking for some good 1x1s, I have about a million characters that have become family in my head. Most of them have ended up in my novels but since I'm taking a break from the novel they're getting dusty.


I love fandoms. All kinds of really weird fandoms. Hannibal, Supernatural, X-Men, lots of anime. My interests are all over the place. ;p

Ayyy, welcome to RPN! Haha, I'm pretty sure that's how a lot of people found this site (me included), and hey, I use to roleplay on Gaia too! Kind of left though since the roleplaying community was dying there. And anyways, a good trip to the 1x1 interest check section of the forum will yield you some good results and people that you can plot with about 1x1 rps.~

I think the website will always have a special place in my heart, although I agree after a while a lot started to change on it. Especially the economy whoo boy. I'm headed to the 1x1 interest forums next! Thanks.

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum


They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.


If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.
