If there were five then I'm pretty sure it'll be less severe since they can take turns. I've noticed with how Minnie took a shot and then Serena did the rest, people can switch out during hunts.
What if people just chose to ignore the dangerous prey and chose to play safe? Would it be less harsh?
I believe so but that's if they aren't desperate for food. If they were, I think that's when people would actually take the chance to hunt dangerous prey.

I think so. You might want to let them know of that choice. Like "Remember of the risks!" type thing. So they would know it's really risky and that they might need at least two people to hunt instead of one. Obviously we know what happens when someone goes in a hunt alone....RIP Serena.
