Fantasy Howl's Flying Castle - OOC

Renee's the only one who has a stealth skill and that's not good. Also yikes if they get caught and lose-! If they do get their weapons, that means they don't need to fight against the dragon within Seifer's soul since they might as well fight again while escaping with their weapons equipped-! XD Zer0 Zer0

Makes me wish the twins were here. Have you noticed that the characters not skilled in something get thrown into situations where they really, really need that skill?

Yea like with Minnie and her speech skill or Ricket with his stealth skill....Seth with his speech skill too...Sen is more of a defender then an attacker....

You know what? Sure. I'll take the mini quest. XD Might as well try right? Zer0 Zer0 Oh but wait they don't get their weapons until after they win the battle right? If they caught getting their weapons, I mean?

I think I'll have the rolls like this:

stealth ---> dispel ---> stealth/fight

Katsuya Katsuya , the items you can be sure are locked in a magically sealed place, so they have to dispel it first, battle or not.

Ohhh~...that makes it much more harder for these two then. XP Nope. I take my chances with the evil dragon soul thingy. Why? Well Renee and Chenglei can still attack with their offensive skill sets but they don't have that much good odds with the dispel and stealth parts....So yea...no...soul battle it is...We're gonna wait for Skittle. XD

Wait. Now that I think about it....the battle from before with the twins and the giant evil cat when Renee and Lydia got caught before...that's not going to be the battle that Chenglei and Renee will have to fight, is it? It's going to be the dragon himself within the soul room isn't it? That's what James and Johnny fought before isn't it??? Zer0 Zer0 Hold on, now I don't know what to choose....

That cat and what Renee faced was Valdanr using Seifer's soul to mess with them to defeat them. For this battle, it will be Valdanr, but you can expect the same battle style.

and his HP is gonna be what? 10Hp? Doubtful. or is it? Since it is the soul part and all...

+1 success. In other words, he'll hit at least once at Chenglei and Renee...okay. So can I ask since this has been bugging me. How does the defense thing work? Like does the roll on the dice have to be higher than the opponent's roll for the attack to be successful or what? I'm gonna do the fight against Valdanr and wait for Skittle too so we can all panic together. XD I'm just curious about how the defense thing work. Zer0 Zer0

No, +1 success means if he rolls a 7, he gets an 8.

For an opponent to hit a player character, he must roll higher than his defense. If the opponent uses a physical attack, he must roll higher than his target's phys. def. and the same goes for mag. def. if he uses a magical attack.

For PvP, because our characters have defense and skills, the way for combat now is for the attacker to still roll higher than that defense and add their skill bonuses to the success rate of that attack.

Skills give them up to +9 bonus to their roll if ever they've maxed an ability category, so the defense of our characters are temporarily raised by +5 to make up for this. It's still rolling higher than the defense that allows an opponent to hit.

Okay. Gotcha...Well, I'm going to sleep. I had to ask all of that just so my consciousness can be chill...sort of. XD Thanks Zer0 Zer0 I really appreciate it. :o

Okay, feel free to write the opening for Renee in Seifer's mind and control him before the battle if you wish. Ima' sleep, good night! Katsuya Katsuya
